Cancellation Policy

At Desert Drifter RV Resort, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility while ensuring the availability of our accommodations for all guests.

1. Standard Reservations:

    •    14 Days or More Before Arrival: Cancellations made 14 or more days before the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee.
    •    7 to 13 Days Before Arrival: Cancellations made within this window will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total reservation amount.
    •    Less Than 7 Days Before Arrival: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival date.

2. Peak Season & Holiday Reservations:

Peak Season is defined as October 1 through January 15 and March 1 through Memorial Day Weekend

Holidays are defined as three day weekends

    •    30 Days or More Before Arrival: Cancellations for reservations made 30 or more days in advance will receive a full refund, minus a $25 processing fee.
    •    15 to 29 Days Before Arrival: Guests canceling within this timeframe will receive a 50% refund of the total reservation amount.
    •    Less Than 15 Days Before Arrival: No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 15 days prior to arrival during peak or holiday periods.

3. Non-Refundable Reservations:

    •    Discounted or promotional rates are not non-refundable. These will be clearly marked at the time of booking. No refunds or changes are allowed for non-refundable reservations.

4. No-Shows:

    •    Reservations will be held until 11:00 PM on the scheduled arrival date. If you do not arrive or notify us of any delays by this time, the reservation will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be provided.

5. Early Departures:

    •    No refunds will be issued for early departures, regardless of the reason.

6. Weather-Related Cancellations:

    •    Cancellations due to weather conditions will not be eligible for a refund unless a mandatory evacuation order is issued by local authorities. In the event of a mandatory evacuation, a prorated refund will be provided for any unused portion of the reservation.

7. Reservation Modifications:

    •    Guests may modify their reservation dates up to 14 days before the arrival date without a fee, subject to availability. Date changes made within 7 days of the arrival date will be considered a cancellation and subject to the applicable cancellation terms.

8. Group Reservations:

    •    For group bookings or special event reservations, different cancellation terms may apply. Please refer to your booking confirmation for specific details regarding group reservations.

9. Cancellation Request Process:

    •    Cancellations must be requested in writing via email or by phone at staywithus@desertdrifterrv.com or (760) 362-2163. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
