Dream Lake Campground

GENERAL POLICIES

  • Dream Lake Campground is a family-oriented campground.  Our policies are designed to promote a relaxed and enjoyable environment for all who are staying with us.  Management reserves the right to eject anyone who violates these policies, destroys the property or otherwise creates a disturbance and no refund will be given in such instances.
  • All pricing is based 2 adults and up to 4 dependent children under the age of 18.  Additional guests are $5.00/day per guest
  •  There is a maximum of 10 adults and children per site and a maximum of 4 adults per site.
  • Campers must be at least 21 years of age to reserve a site
  • Check-In is at 1:00pm, Check-Out is 12:00 Noon.  Early Arrival and/or Late Departure may be subject to an additional fee
  • The speed limit at camp is 5MPH at all times and is strictly enforced, especially for the safety of children at play.  Those asked to slow down repititvely may be asked to leave camp.
  • Quite times are from 11:00pm until 8:00am.  This is strictly enforced.  During this time there should be no loud talking, music, TV or other noise that can disturb other campers.  
  • VIsitors and guests are welcome from 9:00am until 11:00pm.  They must stop and register at the office, and pay the visitor fee.  They are entitled to use the facilities during the stay.  Host campers are responsible for the behavior of their visitors.
  • Garbage pick-up services are provided on weekends only.  Please leave your garbage by the road on your site by 12noon.  At all other times please place your garbage in the dumpsters located on the map.  Please help us keep the campground neat and clean.  do not litter the ground with cigarette  butts or other garbage and debris.
  • Absolutely NO dumping of grey water onto the ground/site is permitted at any time.  A honey wagon service is available for a small fee if your tanks become full.  Contact the office for a dump if needed.
  • Charging of Electric Vehicles may not be done at the site.  Please us the designated EV Charging station.
  • For your protection as well as the saftey of others, campfires must be kept within the fire rings provided on each site and extinguished before retiring for the evening (or leaving the area).  Moving the fire ring from its designated location will result in a $25 maintenance fee.
  • Trees may not be cut down or defaced in any way.  Cut firewood is available for sale at the camp store.  Grass or soil is to be left intact.
  • There are no refunds for early departure.
  • Please help us conserve water.  Car/camper washing is not allowed in the campground on weekends.
  • Swimming is permitted in the designated swim area only.  If you are floating on a float device, it is permitted in any area of the lake, but you must remain on top of the float at all times.  All posted rules must be adhered to.  Swimming, floating and boating after dark are prohibited.  Please refer to the waterfront rules for all swimming rules.
  • Fishing is free and does not require a license, as Dream Lake Campground has a fishing preserve license.  All fishing is catch and release.  Please refrain from fishing from sites around the lake and pond that you are not booked on.  This is intrusive to those who have rented those sites.
  • Bicycles should be operated on camp roads only and must be put away at dusk.  All youth are required to wear a helmet at all times and parents are responsible for enforcing this.  No mini-bikes, mopeds, motorcycles or oher motorized scooters are to be operated on camp property except for camper's arrival or departure.
  • The New York drinking age is 21.  No underage drinking is allowed.  Alcohol must be in non-breakable containers when off sites.  Please pick up after yourselves.
  • Only emergency messages will be delivered to campsites.
  • Camping is at your own risk.  Management assumes no responsibility for property that is stolen or damaged.  There is also inherent danger when involved in camping activities.  Management assumes no responsibility for injury sustained while participating in camping activities.
  • If your stay is greater than 5 days, any camping mats/rugs may only be out on the weekends.  This will reduce the death of our grass on sites.
  • Dream Lake Campground may take and post pictures of activities on camp.  By signing the terms and conditions, they are permitted to use these pictures in marketing efforts including on Facebook, Instagram, and other print materials.

PET POLICIES

  • Only non-aggressive pets are allowed at Dream Lake Campground and must be on a leash at all times.
  • Upon arrival, it is required to provide copies of pet’s vaccination records
  • Pet owners must clean up after their pets in all areas, at all times
  • Pets are not allowed in any Dream Lake buildings, cabins, Rental Campers, restrooms, or laundry facilities
  • Pets should not be left unattended for long periods, excessive barking is not permitted and may result in early departure if not addressed

WATERFRONT RULES

  • Swimming and boating are not supervised by a lifeguard.  In place of on-site supervision, this facility ahs established a series of safeguards to be followed by all guests.  We are required to notify you of these rules to ensure that water rescue equipment is at the waterfront and that the swimming area is maintained in a satisfactory manner.  In the interest of your safety and that of your guests, we require you to follow these rules and sign that you agree to abide by them.
  • NEVER SWIM ALONE- A minimum of two adults 18 years of age and older must be present whenever the swimming facility is in use.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied in boats by a parent or adult who is responsible for the children and their behavior.
  • IN AN EMERGENCY, notify staff and contact help immediately.  A phone is provided at the store.  Emergency numbers are posted.
  • Swimming and boating are permitted only during posted hours of operation.  
  • DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL and swim or boat.
  • LIFE JACKETS MUST BE WORN when using boats, kayaks or canoes.  They are located in the store.  

GOLF CART RULES

  • Golf carts are permitted at Dream Lake Campground.  They may be either gas or electric. Upon entry, golf carts must be registered and a certicate of insurance must be provided for the golf cart.
  • People operating golf carts must have a driver's license.
  • All camp road rules must be followed when operating golf carts.  This includes 5MPH, stopping at stop signs and yielding the right of way to other vehicles.
  • Vehicles on the road have the right of way over golf carts.

ALL OTHER CAMPGROUND RULES AND REGULATIONS CAN BE LOCATED ON THE BACK OF THE CAMP MAP.  WE STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU REVIEW THESE AS THEY WILL BE ENFORCED.  By accepting the terms and conditions, you agreed to follow all policies listed above as well as all rules and regulations listed on the Camp Map.
