Etown RV Park, Elizabethtown, Kentucky

Check In / Check Out

  • Check-in time is 12:00 pm.
  • Check-out time is 11:00 am.
  • If you will be arriving in the area early, please make arrangements until your site opens up at noon.
  • We do not have a waiting area for those checking in early. Check out time is 11 am.
  • Checking out, please text 270-734-4700 to let us know you have departed. Please leave you site clean of debri and trash.
  • Late check-ins are allowed at any time, please just contact the park for instructions.
  • All guests or visitors must register at the office, online, or over the phone before staying at the park or using its facilities.
  • The guest is responsible for the conduct of their visitors and shall be personally liable for any injuries or property damage caused by or arising from the actions of said visitor to any sites, park common areas, or other guests and visitors, and their property.

Site Changes

  • You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move please check with the office.
  • Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.

Open Fires

  • Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in firepits.

Parking

  • Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site unless noted. 
  • Please do not park on our grass. Ruts caused in your site due to additional vehicles will result in damage charges.
  • Each RV site has an 18' side pad for 1 vehicle.
  • Inoperable or unlicensed vehicles are not permitted on the park premises

Site and Park Navigation

  • Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park.
  • Trailers, Boats, and additional vehicles will cost additional fees for camping. We have a neighboring storage facility. A nightly
    registration covers 1 RV and 1 vehicle only.

Speed Limit

  • The park speed limit is 5 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.

Electrical Use

  • You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.
  • Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help.
  • Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.
  • No electrical adapters are allowed; all sites have 50, 30, and 20 amp outlet plugs.
  • If a frayed or patched electrical power cord it observed by staff, electrical service may be terminated until repair is made.
  • E-Town RV Park cannot be held responsible for power or water outages, or any damages caused by these events.  These are beyond the park's control.
  • Generators may be used in the event of a power outage provided the generator does not create any hazards, is not excessively noisy, and is at least 5 feet away from any RV, vehicle, or object.
  • NO additional freezers or external air conditioners(window units) are allowed. 

Water/Sewer

  • Leaking sewer pipes are not allowed; if observed by staff, sewer access may be terminated until repairs are made.
  • Sewer lines must be raised off the ground and properly sloped to allow flow into the riser.

Laundry

  • The coin laundry room is open 24/7.
  • Please do not leave your laundry unattended. We are not responsible for accidents or theft.

Restrooms

  • For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with exception of a temporary closing for cleaning once per day. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean, please.
  • Guests under the age of 18 need adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers as well as the pool area (if applicable).

Quiet Time Policies

  • Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM.
  • Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.

Golf Carts

  • Golf carts are permitted, but the driver must have a valid driver’s license. 

Trash Disposal and Recycling

  • Please do not place your trash on the ground. Woodland creatures like possums and racoons ar attracted to left out or disposed of trash.
  • Do not dispose of wires, oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our dumpster. 

Pets

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose pet is NOT considered suitable to
    the serenity/safety of our guests or the park.
  • Resort is not responsible for and will hold accountable pet owner for any injury or
    damage caused by pet(s).
  • Service animals may accompany a disabled person without any proof of disability or
    certification for the service animal.
  • No exotic or oversized pets are permitted. This includes all reptiles or large birds.
  • There is a two-pet limit in the park.
  • Fee - $2 a day for those staying less than a month. Those staying longer than 30 days can contact the office.
  • Leash - We ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. This helps you, your pet, other guests and other guests’ pets stay safe. There is  a zero tollerance for pets not on a leash. No pet should be tied up without supervision. 
  • Community Building - Pets are NOT allowed in the buildings. Please do not tie your pet to our trees, doors, or posts.
  • Cleaning Up After Your Pet - Be a good neighbor and please use the dog park area and clean up after your pet always. Do not let your pet deposit waste on any of our other guests’ sites please. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund.
  • Leaving Pets Unattended - Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to anything and go inside or leave, result in you being asked to leave without a refund.
  • Pet Vaccinations - Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park. Please make sure your pet’s shots are up-to-date and vaccination report is on file in the office.
  • Barking - Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.
  • The following breeds are NOT permitted on the park premises:  Doberman Pinscher, Pit Bull, Pit Bull Mix, Rottweiler, Chow Chow, Akita.

Prohibited:

  • Fireworks
  • Generators
  • Disorderly behavior
  • Walking through other peoples’ sites
  • Washing of RV or vehicles. (
  • Oil changes and lubes
  • Mats, carpet, etc., covering grass
  • Damaging trees
  • Liquid waste of any kind dumped on the ground or in dumpsters
  • ATV riding
  • Clotheslines
  • Public intoxication or open containers in public areas.
  • Pornographic, obscene, or offensive decorations are not permitted.  This includes decorations on RVs and vehicles such as stickers.
  • Criminal behavior
  • Drug related criminal activity will result in immediate termination of guest agreement or visitor day passes.
  • Smoking or vaping in public areas.
  • Firearms, Airsort, BB, and pellet guns are not permitted on the park grounds and must not be openly brandished or fired on the site.
  • No flags maybe flown unless it is a national or state flag.
  • No indoor furniture or appliances are allowed outside of the RV.

Liability

  • The use of Park facilities is at the user’s own risk.
  • Guests are responsible for their visitors.
  • Park owners and employees assume no responsibility or liability for the safety and security of guests or their visitors.
  • Park owners and employees are not responsible for loss or damage to guests’ property due to theft, vandalism, fire, any casualty, or act of God.
  • Guests and all other users of this property expressly assume all risk of such loss ordamage and must carry their own insurance for their RVs, vehicles, and property.
