RV Policies

Check In / Check Out

Check in is at 12 PM MST and entitles you to your site until 12 PM the day after check in. Early check in is not permitted. The guests who paid for the site the night before you has paid for their site until noon. We will not ask a guest to leave so that you can check in early. If you will be arriving in the area early, please make arrangements until your site opens up at noon. We do not have a waiting area for those checking in early. Check out time is 12 PM. You do not need to contact the office for check out, unless you need to pay for an after-hours check in.

Late check-ins are allowed at any time, please just contact the park for instructions.

If you are staying in our park for a month or longer, we require an agreement to be signed.  Please contact park for more details.

Site Changes

You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.

Open Fires

Open fires are not allowed in our park. This includes propane fire pits. 

Parking

Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.

Site and Park Navigation

Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Please use main roads, sidewalks, and designated public paths to walk around the campground.

Pet Policies

Leash
We ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. This helps you, your pet, and other guests and other guests’ pets stay safe.

Cleaning Up After Your Pet

Be a good neighbor and please use the dog walk area and clean up after your pet always. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites please. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund.

Leaving Pets Unattended
Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pets well-being while you are away.

Barking
Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.

Vehicle Policies

Speed Limit

The park speed limit is 5 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.

Parking

Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site unless noted. Extra vehicles will need to be parked in additional parking spots behind our building or fence. Please do not park on our grass. 

Trailers, Boats, and additional vehicles will cost additional fees for camping. A nightly registration covers 1 RV and 1 vehicle only.

No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Parking on the grass is not permitted at RV Sites.

ATV’s. Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, and Golf Carts

OHV’s are welcome onsite but may not be used within the park.  ONLY to get to and from your site.

General Park Policies

Electrical Use

You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.

Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.

We do offer Dry Camping on all our sites and guests can use a promocode for the rate. Any guest caught using the promocode and using any electrical meter in any way shape or fashion will be charged the electrical daily rate and subject to a $50 fee. 

Restrooms

There are no restrooms or showers available. 

Quiet Time Policies

Quiet time is 10 PM to 8 AM. Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.

Trash Disposal 

Trash cans are located throughout the park. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the trash container. If the first can is full, please find another container. Please do not place your trash on the ground.  Do not dispose of wires, oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our trash cans. Please do not dispose of any motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste items. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees.
 

Fireworks and Firearms

Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibiting of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

Repairs

We are happy to recommend a local Mobile RV Repair service that comes out to your site to assist you with any repairs. We do not have a record with any repair services, but are happy to recommnend ones that have serviced RV's at the park before. 

Safety and Emergencies

If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so the maintenance staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.

*No refunds. Cancellations 24 hours or more before your reserved date will receive a credit which will be held for a year.

*Limit of 14 nights during any 30-day period.  Any stay must be paid in advance.

*No dumping of gray water or other fluids onto the ground. Many local gas stations have an RV dumping station.

*Water fill is available on premises for those staying in electric and dry camping spaces for a nominal of $5 charge.

*We have quite hours between 10p.m. and 8a.m.

*Dogs must be on a leash and waste picked up immediately.

*Space rented is 40’x20’ is for one tow vehicle and one RV/camper only and are BACK-IN only.  No other vehicles or trailers are allowed to be stored at the Fairgrounds without authorization.

*Stay within your designated site.  Absolutely no parking in any other RV site.  Tow vehicle must be unhitched from the trailer and must not block drive lane. Parking is available across the drive lane from your site. Not storing or parking of company/commercial equipment.

*No parking on grass. No tents allowed. No restrooms or showers available. No open burning.

*Check out time is Noon.  If not vacated by Noon, additional fees may be incurred, and vehicles may be towed.

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Gallatin County Fairgrounds for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Gallatin County Fairgrounds from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Gallatin County Fairgrounds may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. Gallatin County Fairgrounds reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.

Pet Policy: We are a pet-friendly resort, but pets must be walked on a leash, cleaned up after and may not disturb other guests. Pets are the responsibility of the owner. Management reserves the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds. 

Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.

Gallatin County Fairgrounds or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property, or thing howsoever caused.

The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any cause.
