GALVESTON BAY RV RESORT & MARINA

GENERAL:

1.     The resort assumes no liability for loss or damage to guest property and or injury caused by themselves, their guest, pet or visitor due to the use of resort facilities or caused by others on the premises.

2.     The resort is not responsible for loss or damage due to fire, accident, theft, weather or a catastrophic event.

3.     All guests are responsible for the actions of their visitors, children and their pets.

4.     Any guest or visitor that willfully or negligently damages or destroys resort property, landscaping or equipment will be held liable for the value to repair or replace damaged items and or property.

5.     All guests and visitors must register in the office upon arrival.

6.     Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. All visitors must stop in the office to register, pay a fee, receive a wristband & parking pass. Visitors may not bring their pets. GBRV Resort and Marina reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. Day visitors must depart by 10:00 p.m. Overnight visitors must depart by Noon. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and comply with all GBRV resorts rules.

7.     We reserve the right to evict any person (s) who does not comply with GBRV Rules and Regulations.

8.     We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.

9.     All motorhomes, RV’s or travel trailers must be in good working order and appearance.

10.  We reserve the right to refuse RV’s that are 10 years and older. (With management approval we may permit an RV, MH, Travel trailer with photo submission)

11.  Swimming in ponds is prohibited

12.   The boat parking area is for boats, boat trailers and jet skis only. All must be registered with the office.

13.   The marina area is for our guests and their registered boats only.

14.   Charcoal grills, deep fryers and wood fire pits must have cover and used at your own risk. We provide two gas grills for community use located by each pool area. Open fires are not permitted.

15.  Propane grills and propane fire pits are allowed.

16.  Maintenance of RV’s or vehicles on property is not allowed.

17.  The use of any paint products or chemicals is prohibited.

18.  No clothes lines or hanging laundry outdoors, No heavy bedding, dog beds or RUGS allowed to be washed in the Laundry room. DO not leave unattended.

19.  All sites must be kept neat and clean for the duration of your occupancy.

20.  No generators (unless in case of an emergency), fireworks, workout equipment (must be stowed away), or loud music. Please do not fly any drones in or near guest RVs. 

21.  Guests use the resort facilities at their own risk. Please act safely and secure your valuables.

22.  Glass is not allowed off your site.

23.  No glass is allowed at the swimming pools

24.  No additions of any kind are permitted WITHOUT APPROVAL.

25.  All trash is to be placed in the trash receptacles located by the office.

26.  DO NOT LEAVE trash outside overnight.

27.  Only 1 RV and a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site unless stated otherwise.  Sites are based upon double occupancy (2) adults & 2(children)

28.  ALL GUEST AND VISITORS must always display/wear wristbands while using the amenities.

29.  Drones or other remote-controlled machines may not be used at any time on the property.

30.  Only American flags, military and flags of the 50 US STATES are permitted to be displayed through the resort. Guests/visitors in violation of this policy will be asked to remove any other flag for the duration of the stay.

 

PARK POLICIES:

CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT

Check in is 2:00 pm and check out is 12:00 p.m.

Early check-ins are permitted ONLY if the site is unoccupied. You must check with the office.

Late check-ins are allowed at any time after business hours. You will be instructed to go straight to your site. You must report to the office first thing in the morning to complete registration.

Late Check out You Must make arrangements with the office if available and additional fees may apply.

If you are staying in our park for a month or longer, we require a router agreement to be signed if you will be using the park’s Wi-Fi. Electricity is NOT included in your monthly rate. Electricity is included for daily and weekly rentals only.

All Rent payments are due in advance. A late charge of $5.00/day will be applied after 7 days grace period. 

NO PRORATING OR REFUNDS for early departures or due to weather conditions. No refunds for UNUSED stays. We operate at a daily, weekly or monthly rate.

Check out
YOU ARE TO LEAVE THE SITE CLEAR AND FREE OF ANY ITEMS. You will be charged a site clean up fee of $300.00 if anything is left behind. (Stairs, canopy, gazebo, BBQ Grills, bricks, planter pots or anything left behind). You are authorizing us to charge your credit card.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Reservations cancelled 7 or more days prior to the reservation start date will be assesed a $20 cancellation fee.

No refunds are provided for cancellations made less than 7 days in advance of the reservation start date.

 

VEHICLES AND SITE OCCUPANCY

No RV’s over 10-year-old without management approval. All RV’s must be registered and in moveable condition.  (If a hurricane is in the Gulf and we are in the cone of impact within 3 days all RV’S & Vehicles must vacate the property).

 

We welcome self-contained RV’s including travel trailers, Fifth wheels and Class A, B, C Motorhomes that are 10 years old or newer. Our resort policy prohibits tent camping, truck campers, teardrop campers, cargo trailers converted and pop-up campers. All RV’s are subject to exterior inspection upon arrival.

 

Utility/cargo and car trailers are not preferred to be on your site as it takes away from your parking space. If your site can accommodate it without being obstructed, we will permit it. You must inform the office before checking in. We do not store utility trailers. All trailers must be inspected for approval to be on your site. Boats and boat trailers are permitted to be parked in boat parking but must be in good use only. We do NOT store boats, trailers or RVs of any sort.

 

PLEASE do not park on the grass or on a vacant site. No vehicle repairs or maintenance may be done in the resort unless approved by management. RV, boat and vehicle washing may be used with the bucket method or spray nozzle attachment. Power washing of RV’s is restricted to authorized mobile service companies. BOAT motor flushing must be done off site.

 

VEHICLE SITE OCCUPANCY

Rates are based on 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 12.  Additional charges apply for all children over 12 & adults at $5.00/day, if the guest is staying the night $10.00 (24 hrs.) $20/week or $35/monthly.

 

No sub leasing of spaces, trailers, or RV ‘s allowed. Guests selling their RV shall not allow new owners possession in the park without prior arrangements with management.

 

Management must be notified when the site is vacated for any reason.  Vacated sites without proper notification are subject to be leased out.

YOU are responsible for the actions of your children, visitors and pets. Common courtesy shall prevail between all people in the resort. Respect people’s privacy. Do not walk through occupied or unoccupied sites. Please use the roads and paths provided.

No generators, fireworks, workout equipment (must be stowed away) or loud music.

Should the sheriff be notified regarding a disturbance at your site, you will be required to vacate the resort. Guests use the resort facilities at their own risk. Please act safely and secure your valuables.

GLASS is not allowed off your site. Please use non-breakable containers.

Any guest or visitor that willfully or negligently damages or destroys resort property, landscaping, or equipment will be held liable for the value to repair or replace damaged items and/or property.

Management assumes NO LIABLITY for loss or damage to guest property and or injury to a person, pet or visitor due to the use of resort facilities or caused by others on the premises.       

 

 All recreational items such as Golf carts, ATVS, UTV, and SIDE BY SIDES must be of 16 years of age  or have a valid driver’s license to operate them in this RV park. You are not to be speeding, riding and mudding through any open grass area, open fields, vacant sites is prohibited and respect the surrounding areas of your neighbors. All mini bikes, electrical/gas, scooters, skateboards, hoover boards,Other like items are to abide by the park rules including your neighbor’s personal space. Make sure that your water & sewer connections fit properly and do not leak.

 All water and sewer hoses must be kept off the grass. The park is not responsible for damage to hoses by lawn maintenance. Lawn Maintenance is THURSDAYS.

 Please make sure grass is clear of all items. Any spills on the concrete from vehicle leaks are to be cleaned up immediately. If we need to attend to the stain, there will be a cleanup fee assessed.  

 

TRASH/WASTE DISPOSAL: 

Only household trash in dumpsters, do not leave any trash, trash cans, trash bags out overnight. All trash must be placed in dumpsters next to the office. You must dispose of your furniture, mattresses and barbeque pits on your own. DO NOT PLACE THEM by or in the dumpster

 

PET RULES:

There is an active leash law here in Galveston County All pets (Including Cats) must be on a leash at all times. (Unless you are in the dog run area) 2 pets per site unless approved by management. Aggressive animals will not be allowed in the RV Park. You will be asked to leave with no refund if your pet shows any aggressive tendencies or complaints are verified. Aggressive barking is not allowed.

Pet owners must immediately pick up after their pet and deposit waste in a bag into the designated receptacles A $25.00 fine will be assessed to the pet owner for each occurrence of improper disposal or cleanup.                                                                                                                                                   

Pets may not be left outside unattended, tied up or barking. Pet fences are not allowed on grass areas on mow days. No pet bedding of any sort is permitted in the laundry room, & all pets are prohibited in the pool area.

No pets are permitted in the apartments. 

                                                                                                                                                                                            

SMOKING:  

Smoking or vaping is prohibited in ALL buildings’ areas, including the apartments, office, community room, restrooms, and laundry room. All cigarette butts must be placed in proper container, do not throw on the ground, this includes your site area. (Please remember it is very windy here). No illegal or illicit drugs allowed.

 

QUIET TIME:  

Monday through Thursday from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday and Saturday 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Loud music, vulgar/threatening language, or offensive conduct will not be tolerated at any time in any areas of the park and will result in immediate removal from the RV park. 

 

SPEED LIMIT: The speed limit is 10 MPH; Violators will be asked to leave the park.

     

RV SEWER:

Please try to use “Green Cleaning” and laundry products. Do not flush any feminine products, grease/fats, diapers, cat litter, paper towels, wet wipes, hazardous substances, syringes, glass, rags, or plastics down the drain/sink/sewer. Use your holding tanks until near full before emptying into the sewer hole. Use only approved RV toilet paper

PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY AMMONIA PRODUCTS THROUGH ANY SEWER LINES.    

Galveston Bay RV Resort and Marina owns its “OWN” SEWER SYSTEM; CITY SEWER IS NOT AVAILABLE

 

 POOLS/AMENITIES:

Only registered guests and their visitors are allowed to swim in the pool,

 Fish on the property and use our fishing piers. (Guest must be with their visitors at pools, fishing piers And ponds) NO VEHICLE OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED ON THE FISHING PIERS.

Family Pool Rules – Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult

Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children and financially responsible for damage incurred in all areas including the main office, meeting room, palapa, fishing piers, laundry facilities, bathrooms and pool area.

No GLASS or PETS ALLOWED in pool areas period (fines up to $100.00 will be enforced & asked to leave the area)

Adult Pool – 21 and over (no exceptions)

No jumping or diving off of waterfalls (fines up to $100.00 will be enforced & asked to leave the area)

Children under the age of 13 must wear life jackets/vests around marina/fishing area(s) when not accompanied by a parent.

No diving or jumping off fishing piers.

Pool hours Sun. – Thur. 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.  Fri. – Sat. 9 a.m. to 11p.m.

WIFI/MAILROOM/PACKAGES: 

WIFI is a complimentary service that is not guaranteed to be the best provider but is available at NO CHARGE.

You may receive mail and packages as a courtesy of the park however by no means are we a “proof of residency” nor responsible for the damages, deliveries, non-receiving or sending any parcels. All mail and packages must have your site number to place the mail in a site folder.    (MONTHLY RENTALS)  

MAIL: All packages will be returned if NOT picked up within 7 DAYS. IF you DO NOT have your site number on your mail it will be placed in a misc. file.

NOTICE: This property is privately owned.  The camper accepts camping privileges with the understanding that he does hereby release the Campground, its officers and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury to his person arising out of his use of its camping facilities, and agrees to indemnify the Campground, its officers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury to the person of any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of the use of its camping facilities.

                                                        NO FIREWORKS PERMITTED

     GBRV WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS, THEFT OR INJURY DURING YOUR STAY
