Cancellation Policy

We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date. This policy will apply regardless of COVID-19.

For RV Spaces - Seasonal:
Within 5 days of Renting a Seasonal RV Space: Full Reservation Fee Refund
After 5 days and within 14 days – 50% Reservation Fee refund
After 14 Days: No Refund

For RV & Tent Spaces – Daily, Weekly & Campsites: 

1+ WEEKS
100% of reservation - full refund issued in camp credit or in original payment method 

5-7 DAYS
50% of reservation issued in camp credit or in orignial payment method

LESS THAN 5 DAYS
Full reservation forfeited

For Add-Ons: 
​1+ WEEK
Refund less $10 cancellation fee issued in camp credit

LESS THAN 1 WEEK
Full reservation forfeited

Camp Credit must be used within one year from the issued date and can only be applied toward your site, add-ons, or Campspot point of sale transactions. For reservations paid with a credit card, cash refunds will be credited to the credit card on file with respect to reservation.

Change Policy:
Changes to reservation arrival or departure dates made outside of the cancellation window will result in a one-time courtesy change and every change made thereafter will be charged a $15 service fee. (See specific policy above.) Guest is responsible for any resultant difference in rates.

Changes made to decrease occupancy or pets resulting in a credit owed will result in the issuance of a Camp Credit. Camp Credit will remain active on the User Account and will expire one year from issuance. Reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed inside the cancellation window.

Payment Policy:
Payment is due in full at time of booking. We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Checks are also acceptable. 

Any outstanding balances that remain 29 days prior to arrival will automatically be charged to the payment method used for the initial deposit without additional notice. Any declined final payments will be canceled subject to the cancellation policy.

No Show Policy:
Reservations will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival. No shows will result in full forfeiture of funds.

The refund policy may be amended in the event a natural disaster watch/warning is issued for the Ottawa, OH area or the guest's residence within 48 hours of the reservation arrival date OR when there is a mandatory evacuation of the area and Gilboa Quarry will be closed for an extended period of time.
