A Certificate of Liability Insurance with $1 million in coverage is required for any non-girl scout event or reservation. Please make sure the dates of the reservation and our name “Girl Scouts of South Carolina - Mountains to Midlands” are indicated on the certificate. Please send to customercare@gssc-mm.org no later than 1 week prior to the event.

The final payment is due 4 weeks prior to your reservation date, or immediately if rental is less than four weeks away. If paying by check, your reservation must be created by Property Staff and you will receive an invoice. These payments will be noted in your reservation. You will receive a follow-up email 2 weeks after your event date if payment has not been received. Further reservations may not be made until that payment is received.

Written requests to cancel the reservation must be received 4 weeks in advance of the reservation date to receive a full refund. If paying by check, payment will still be required if it is not cancelled 4 weeks in advance. Further reservations may not be made until that payment is received.

You are responsible for any damage that occurs beyond normal wear and tear. Any excessive damage will be charged accordingly.

For the Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center, a cleaning or policy violation fee of up to $250 may apply if necessary. Do not use tape on walls or floors unless it is painter's tape or damage-proof. No glitter (including decorations, tablecloths, etc.), loose sequins, confetti or paint is allowed except in the Art Studio.

Property reservations may be made online four months in advance of the desired date or more by request and approval by Property Staff.

For Camp WaBak and Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center, keys will be issued on-site if needed.

For CME and Wistagoman sites, you will be contacted by the site manager regarding access.

For overnight reservations, you may arrive at camp no earlier than 3:00 PM on the day your reservation starts and you must depart by 11:00 AM on the day your reservation ends. Early arrival and late checkout may be available depending on scheduled site usage.

For day use reservations of Cathy Novinger Girl Scout Leadership Center sites, you may arrive no earlier than 8:00 AM and you must depart by 10:00 PM. These times may be adjusted by request. For the 4-hour Multipurpose room rental, a member of the Property Staff will contact you to schedule those hours of use.

A member of the Property Staff will contact you before your visit to re-confirm your reservation and provide additional information needed. At this time, you can confirm check-in details or ask any further questions you may have.
