Reservation, Payment and Cancellation Policy

NEXT SEASON RESERVATIONS (Booking in 2025 for 2026):

             $200 required at booking, non-refundable

             Balance required by February 28, 2026

CURRENT SEASON RESERVATIONS:

             100% full payment required at reservation.

CANCELLATIONS:

             Cancellation of 2 weeks (14 calendar days) or more to arrival date - Refund Amount: Total less one night stay

             Cancellation of more than 1 week (8 calendar days or more) prior to arrival - Refund Amount: 50% of reservation fee

             Cancellation of less than 1 week (7 calendar days or less) prior to reservation - Refund Amount: No refund

             Credit card upon check in for damage deposit ($200), pet deposit ($75), excessive cleaning fees (if applicable) ($200)

Cottage Check In and Check Out

Check-in: Any time after 3:00 p.m., notice required if check in is going to be after 7:00p.m. so that arrangements can be made for a late                               check in.

Liability waiver is signed at time of check in.

Checkout: 11:00 a.m.

**Note: Any people above those listed as renters are considered visitors and must check in with office and pay visitor fees. Only day visitors permitted for cottage rentals.

Amenities In Cottage

Kitchen and dining area including:

  • Kitchen table

  • Refrigerator
  • Dishes
  • Silverware
  • Basic cooking utensils (spatulas, strainers, etc.)
  • Pots
  • Pans
  • Salt, Pepper
  • Dish towels
  • Dish soap

Beds including pillows (inquire for bed sizes) – you are to provide sheets/blankets

BBQ included

An inventory will be done upon check out to ensure all items provided are still in the cottage.

Amenities To Be Brought by Renter

This is a housekeeping cottage which means you provide all bedding, towels, and toiletries (shampoo, et cetera)

You are expected to leave the cottage clean and how you found it. If the cottage is left requiring excessive cleaning, a $200 cleaning fee will be applied.

Smoking

All cottages are non-smoking. There is to be no smoking (cigarettes, vape or marijuana) inside of cottages. $200 cleaning fee will apply if cottagers are found to be smoking inside of cottages.

In Resort Transportation Policy

Our priority is the safety of everyone at the resort, the following rules are implemented to ensure that everyone’s visit here maintains that priority. Vehicle speeds in resort are to be at a crawl for the safety of children and adults who may be moving about the resort. The use of ATVs are permitted in the resort to get to local trails, etc. HOWEVER, the use of ATVs is not permitted to move between cottages or sites. If you wish to use a golf cart or scooter that is permitted.

However, we are a small resort and if you wish to visit your neighbour using your ATV to do so is not permitted.

Vehicles are to stay on the designated roads, unless parked at your site. Trips in and out of the park should be kept at a minimum in order to protect drainage tile, the safety of people around the park, and maintenance of the grounds/lawns.

Vehicles are not to be used to travel from site to site. No riding in the back or trucks, open hatchbacks, et cetera.

MAXIMUM OF 2 VEHICLES. Our resort is a small resort and depending on capacity, it may be required that one vehicle park in a designated parking area, but don’t worry, it’s still close to the cottage.

Pet Policy

Pets are permitted. A $75 pet damage deposit is required and will be refunded upon check out with evidence of no damages or excessive cleaning required.

Pets are to be kept on leash at all times.

Clean up after your pet at the cottage and when walking your pet.

Any occurrences of your pet attacking other animals or people could result in restriction of your pet coming to the resort.

Garbage Policy

We only accept household waste and recycling, is deposited in the yellow garbage bin near the entrance of the resort.

All paper products should be burned either at your site or at the main fire pit.

ALL other items such as broken chairs, electronics, etc. are to be taken to be disposed of at your homes.

Noise Policy

Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. Noise is to be at a minimum in respect of your fellow campers.

Other Rules

Boats

Boats at the dock are the property of the boat’s owner, please stay away other people’s boats.

There is no fishing from the boat docks.

For those renting boats, a Pleasure Create Operator Card is mandatory and must be provided upon check in, along with completed boat rental waiver.

Other

You are not permitted to cut down live trees.

Please be respectful of others in the resort, both seasonal and cottage renters.

No fireworks.

Please ensure children are supervised at all times. Glen Haven Resort is not liable for any injuries that occur.
