Glendale Campground Rules and Conditions 

PAYMENTS: Short term camping is due on the day of arrival. For long-term camping, rent is due on the 1st of every month. Arrivals in the middle of the month will be prorated to the first. There will be a 3% fee applied to all credit card transactions. 

CHECK IN: Check-in is from 1 PM-6 PM EST and entitles you to your site until 11 AM the day after check-in. Early check-in is not permitted unless arranged prior to arrival. The guest who paid for the site the night before you has paid for their site until 11 AM. We will not ask a guest to leave so that you can check in early. If you will be arriving in the area early, please make arrangements until your site opens up at 1 PM. We do not have a waiting area for those checking in early. There is a $15 late check-in fee for guests arriving after 6 PM EST. Please contact the office to arrange for late check-in if you think you will be arriving after hours. 

CHECKOUT: Check out time is 11 AM. You do not need to contact the office for check out. Late checkout is available if arrangements are available and have been made prior to arrival. Late checkout may not be available due to other reservations. 

SITE MAINTENANCE: Your site must always be clean of trash, i.e. bottles, bottle caps, cigarette butts. If you have an outside trash can, it must have a locking lid and be weighed down with gravel or sand so that it will not tip over. Make sure you are emptying the cans and do not let them run over. Rugs are only allowed on the gravel as it kills the grass and we want your site to look good for both you and the next guest. You may be charged a fee if there is damage to sites and/or garbage left behind after departure. Agreement to these terms and conditions allows the campground to charge a fee if deemed necessary. 

SITES: You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites. Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. 

SPEED LIMIT: The park speed limit is 10 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests. 

CABINS/RENTAL CAMPERS: If you are renting a camper or cabin, please be respectful of the space. Our units are pet-friendly; however, pets must be kept in a crate if left alone. We may have to enter for maintenance purposes. Cabin air filters are cleaned once per month and camper tanks are emptied once per week. You may be charged a fee if there is damage to the units and/or garbage left behind after departure. Agreement to these terms and conditions allows the campground to charge a fee if deemed necessary. 

PARKING: Each site will receive 3 parking passes.  Every site is guaranteed parking for their camper and 1 vehicle. If your site has room for 2 vehicles, you are welcome to do so as long as you are in the graveled area of your site. Any extra vehicles must park in the visitor parking area. Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges. DO NOT PARK IN THE GRASS. For any parking related questions or inquiries about bringing trailers, boats, etc. please contact the office prior to arrival. 

FIRES: Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in firepits. Burning trash is not allowed, this includes food or glass bottles. Broken glass is a hazard to everyone. Please empty firepits before departure. Please pick a spot for your firepit and do not move it. DO NOT USE USED MOTOR OIL ON YOUR FIRE.  

PETS: There is a 3 pet maximum for each campsite, unless otherwise cleared with the office. Pets must be kept on a leash. Pets are not permitted inside the laundry room. Please ensure pets are up to date on vaccinations. 

- Be a good neighbor and clean up after your pet regardless of where you are in the park. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites please. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund. 

- Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Pet aggression related issues are not tolerated. Please note that excessive barking and aggression issues may result in you being asked to leave without refund.  

- Pets are only permitted to be on tie-outs when you are outside and present with them. You may not leave pets outside unattended at any time. The campground is not responsible for any pet-related accidents.  

TRASH DISPOSAL: We have 6 dumpsters located throughout the park, that pickup very early on Tuesday mornings.  If one is full, please find another one with space. Please break down all boxes before placing them in the dumpster and tie trash bags completely closed before placing them in dumpster. Woodland creatures like possums and racoons are attracted to left out or disposed of food and while we think they are cute and wonderful animals; we don’t want you to find a surprise night visiting racoon at your site because of incorrectly disposed of trash! If you have old mattresses, canopies, grills, etc., please make sure to place them completely in the dumpster. Place nothing on the ground outside the dumpster. No outside dumping or dumping of products from your job site is allowed.  

MAIL: Packages and paper mail can be delivered to the campground address. Please include name and site number if able. WE DO NOT SIGN FOR PACKAGES. Packages are delivered to the container outside of the office and are delivered to sites in the afternoon on weekdays. Check daily if you are expecting a delivery.  

RESTROOMS/SHOWER HOUSE: For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with the exception of a temporary closing for cleaning once per day. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean, please. Guests under the age of 18 need adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers. Please do not leave belongings in the restrooms/showers, we do not want to throw them away. 

LAUNDRY ROOM: We have 2 laundry rooms on- site. The laundry rooms stay open 24 hours. There is a change machine located in the laundry room beside the restrooms. Please be respectful and do not leave your laundry in the washer or dryer. After laundry sits for 10 minutes, another resident is allowed to move it.  Make sure you are cleaning your pockets out. SCREWS, GUM, FOOD ECT TEARS THE DRYERS UP AND OTHER CAMPERS CLOTHING. Please do not wash excessively large bedding. Make sure you are turning the lights out and closing the door completely when you leave. We are not responsible for accidents or theft. 

CHILDREN: Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times on the playground, in the pool area, and around the lake. Riding bicycles without a parent and on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests. Children may not use the restrooms without being accompanied by a parent or guardian. 

POOL (during open season): No lifeguard is on duty. Pool opens at 10 am and closes at 8 pm. Anyone under 18 must be supervised at all times. Horseplay, running, and diving are not permitted in our pool area. Alcohol and Food is not permitted inside the fenced pool area. Failure to follow these rules may result in you being asked to leave without a refund. Children in diapers are not allowed in our pool. Only swimsuits and swimming trunks are permitted in our pool, no cut-offs. If you would like your child to be supervised by another adult in the campground, they must sign an Adult Supervision Agreement in the office. Please see pool signs or the office for a complete list of rules. 

LAKE: Kayaks, canoes, and swimming are prohibited in the lake. Fishing is catch and release only. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  

SEWER: Do not flush tampons or any type of flushable wipes down the toilet in your camper. If renting one of our campers on site, we handle the grey and black tanks please do not dump them or flush regular toilet paper.   

ELECTRICAL USE: You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV. Amp usage over the 30 or 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay. 
 
- Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so. 

QUIET HOURS: Please be respectful of all campers if you are listening to music. Quiet time is 10:00 P.M.-7:00 A.M. but we ask that noise is kept at a reasonable level at all times. If issues persist past the first warning, you may be asked to leave without a refund. 

OTHER VEHICLES: We allow golf carts, side by sides and minibikes but no ATVs. All vehicles must stay on the gravel. No one without a valid driver’s license is allowed to drive. The amount of people in your cart cannot exceed the number of seats available. There is no standing on the back of the carts and no riding on the fenders of the cart.  

WASHING: Hose washing is not permitted, as it can result in a mess and disturb your neighbors. 

DECKS: If you want to build a small set of steps for your door, that is allowed. No large decks are permitted. Any steps built for your camper must be taken with you upon your departure.   

FIREWORKS AND FIREARMS: Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibition of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibition of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. 

DRONES: Drones are not permitted in our park. Please do not fly drones over people or RVs. 

REPAIRS: Repairs to vehicles are not permitted in our park. This includes working on cars, trucks, etc. 

INSURANCE: Insurance on your camper is not required; however the campground is not responsible for natural disaster damage. (Trees, wind, snow, etc.) Damage caused by another camper is between the two parties.  

SEVERE WEATHER: In case of severe weather, you may seek shelter in the restrooms or laundry room. We love pets, so please bring them with you and please do not leave them in your RV during severe weather warnings. You may also go to the local fire department. 

SAFETY AND EMERGENCIES: If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call the office at (270) 369-7755. (No soliciting is allowed.) 
 
*If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so the maintenance staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site. 

The campground reserves the right to ask any camper or guest to leave the premises at any time.  

Rules are subject to change as the campground/management see fit.  

 

Release, Indemnification and Hold Harmless Agreement  

In consideration of participating in campground activities, and for other good and valuable consideration, I hereby agree to release and discharge from liability arising from negligence  Glendale Campground and its owners, directors, officers employees, agents, volunteers, participants, and all other persons or entities acting for them (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Releasees"), on behalf of myself and my children, parents, heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate, and also agree as follows:  

1. I acknowledge that participating in campground activities involves known and unanticipated risks which could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis or permanent disability, death, and property damage. Risks include, but are not limited to, broken bones, torn ligaments or other injuries as a result of falls; burns from campfires; drowning in pools or other bodies of water; falls from play equipment or caused by uneven surfaces; medical conditions resulting from physical activity; and damaged clothing or other property. I understand such risks simply cannot be eliminated, despite the use of safety equipment, without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity.  

2. I expressly accept and assume all of the risks inherent in this activity or that might have been caused by the negligence of the Releasees. My participation in this activity is purely voluntary and I elect to participate despite the risks. In addition, if at any time I believe that event conditions are unsafe or that I am unable to participate due to physical or medical conditions, then I will immediately discontinue participation.  

3. I hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Releasees from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action which are in any way connected with my participation in this activity, or my use of their equipment or facilities, arising from negligence. This release does not apply to claims arising from intentional conduct. Should Releasees or anyone acting on their behalf be required to incur attorney's fees and costs to enforce this agreement, I agree to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs.  

4. I represent that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage I may suffer or cause while participating in this activity, or else I agree to bear the costs of such injury or damage myself. I further represent that I have no medical or physical condition which could interfere with my safety in this activity, or else I am willing to assume and bear the costs of all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition.  

5. In the event that I file a lawsuit, I agree to do so solely in the state where Releasees' facility is located, and I further agree that the substantive law of that state shall apply.  

6. I agree that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.  

By signing this document, I agree that if I am hurt or my property is damaged during my participation in this activity, then I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against the parties being released on the basis of any claim for negligence.  

I have had sufficient time to read this entire document and, should I choose to do so, consult with legal counsel prior to signing. Also, I understand that this activity might not be made available to me or that the cost to engage in this activity would be significantly greater if I were to choose not to sign this release, and agree that the opportunity to participate at the stated cost in return for the execution of this release is a reasonable bargain. I have read and understood this document and I agree to be bound by its terms.
