Glory Land Campground and Events, Eddyville, Kentucky

Glory Land Campground and Events is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss, or theft of any personal property or vehicle.  Keep your valuables locked up.  Report any problems with your site to the Office immediately.  Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children, and or pets.  Guest assumes any risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to Glory Land Campground and Events from an indemnified park against the same.

 

1.      We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone (we will not knowingly rent to anyone convicted of violent crimes or registered sex offenders) and will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries to tenants or guests, or loss of money, or any valuables of any kind.

2.      The camper shall maintain liability, fire, wind, and other hazard insurance coverage on their unit and personal property located on the campsite.  The insurance policy must provide coverage of the camper’s acts or omissions related to the campground and campsite.  Campers must have liability insurance on all motor vehicles operated on the campground.

3.      All Motorhomes, RVs, or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance.  We reserve the right to refuse access to any guest whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.

 

RV Policies

4.      Registration: ALL guests and visitors must REGISTER at the time of booking. NO EXCEPTIONS!

5.      Check-In: / Check-Out: Check in is Noon and check out is 11am.  Campers leaving late will be charged $30 for hindering the check-in of the next camper. The camper in spot #4 has a check in at 2p and check out at 11am.  If you will be arriving in the area early, please find a location off site to park until your site opens at noon, as we do not have a waiting area for those checking in early.

6.      Late check in: Use lowlights: When driving through the campground or unloading your car in the dark, turn off your headlights and use your lowlights. For those around you, the bright lights can disturb sleep. Once you arrive at the campground, use lanterns and flashlights. 

  1. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am Sunday-Thursday and 11pm to 7am Friday and Saturday. No loud talking, singing, radios, etc. Excessive noise at any hour is not allowed. Anyone being loud will only receive one warning and then asked to leave without a refund.

8.      Site Changes: Your Site # is subject to change prior to arrival unless a site lock fee is paid during the time of booking.  You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, please check with the office.  Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible.  Please inquire prior to moving.

  1. Visitors: Registered guests are responsible for their guests’ compliance with campground rules. Visitors may not bring pets. Management reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site.  Visitors not registered must depart by 10pm CST. 
  2. Children: Children under 18 must always be supervised by an adult. Children under 18 must not be left alone at the campground.
  3. Campsites: One vehicle allowed per site. No tents allowed on the sites. Enclosures must be approved by management (screened in tents, etc.). Keep your belongings on your site. Do not set up chairs, satellite dishes, etc. on any site but your own. Keep your site clean, please. This includes, no waste or gray water dumped on the ground.   Do not put rugs on grass.  It kills the grass, and we want your site to look good for both you and the next guest. Please do not walk through or in between occupied sites unless you have permission.
  4. Vehicles: SPEED LIMIT 5 MPH. Licensed drivers only. Watch for our children and pets. This policy is to keep you, your children, and pets safe.  Exceeding this speed limit may result in us asking you to leave without a refund.  Safety is our number one priority for our guests.  Our park is small so No ATV’s, dirt bikes, motorcycles, or golf carts, etc. will be allowed.
  5. Parking: Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV and 1 vehicle per site unless noted.  Extra vehicles will need to be parked in the parking lot. Please do not park your vehicle on our grass.  Do not park in the middle of the road.  Do not block our dumpster. Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges. We have parking available for your boat, extra vehicle, or visitor’s vehicle.
  6. Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is not currently available. We are in a rural area with limited access.  Fiber should be coming in a few months, and we will let you know when it is available.
  7. Fireworks, Firearms, Drones, and Illegal drugs or activities are strictly forbidden anywhere on the campground property.
  8. Children: Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children. No electric/gas vehicles (hoverboards, bikes, scooters, etc.) Lights on bikes after dark. No riding in the Event area.
  9. Smoking: PLEASE do not throw your “butts” on the ground. Dispose of them properly.
  10. Alcohol: The consumption of alcohol is only allowed on your campsite and RV. Drunk and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated.
  11. Trash: Please put trash in trash bags and tie completely and put it in the dumpster provided.  Please do not leave your trash on the ground or out overnight. Please do not dispose of any motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, or any toxic or hazardous waste items.  Failure to comply with this rule may result in charges for disposal fees.  You are responsible for keeping your site clean, orderly, and uncluttered.  Also, if using any other common usage area, please make sure the area is clean when done.
  12. Fish Cleaning: Please bring provisions for disposing of your fish cleaning debris (NOT dumpster).  Please do not clean your fish anywhere on campground property.
  13. Clotheslines: Do not tie anything to the trees.
  14. Sewers: To avoid sewer backups, as well as the mess, PLEASE do NOT flush: adult or baby wet wipes, paper towels, tampons, condoms, or anything else questionable; our septic system cannot handle it.
  15. Fires: Please follow all local rules.  Open fires are not allowed in our park.  Fires must be in designated fire rings.  Do not move the fire ring.  Put your fire out: Because you can endanger those around you, this is one of the most important camping rules, regardless of where you go. Be sure to put out your fire before bed, before heading out for the day, or when you leave the site at the end of your stay. The general rule of thumb is to make sure the coals or ashes are cold. Parents/Caretakers are fully responsible for the behavior and safety of their children while the fire is burning, please do not leave trash in the fire ring.
  16. Firewood: Cutting trees is prohibited. Keep the fire in the ring.  Do not move the fire ring. 
  17. Rights of Management: Management is not responsible for damage or injuries to you or your personal property by fire, theft, wind, or accident. You should insure your trailer and golf cart.

Pet policies

26.  Pets: Pets are permitted. Maximum of 3 pets. All pets must be registered prior to arrival. We reserve the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive pets. Pets must always be on a leash, quiet, and you must clean up after them. Failure to clean up after your pet may result in you being asked to leave without a refund. Pets may not be left unattended. We may prohibit or require removal from the campground any dot we consider a problem (including, but not limited to barking while left alone in your camper) or who poses a risk to campers. Do Not walk pets into other campers’ sites. Park is not responsible for and will hold accountable pet owners for any injury or damage caused by your pet(s).

27.  Pet Vaccinations: Due to Insurance requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park.  Please make sure your pet’s shots are up to date.

28.  Barking: Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors.  Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.

Emergencies

29.  If the authorities are called for any reason other than a medical emergency, you will be asked to vacate the premises immediately. This would be for any illegal activity such as drugs, fighting, theft, etc. There will be no refund.

30.  I understand if I am incarcerated, or contraband of any kind is found in my possession, my lodging will be terminated immediately and there will be no refund.

Electrical Use

31.  Please notify the office if you have any electrical issues during your stay.  Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements.  Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.

Repairs/Washing

32.  Repairs: Repairs to RV’s, boats, and vehicles are not permitted in our park. 

33.  Washing: Washing of your RV, boat, or vehicle is not permitted in our park. 

Check Out

34.  Check out: Clean your site: Don't leave a dirty site for the next campers. Leaving trash in an otherwise pure, natural space is frowned upon, and most campgrounds will charge you for leaving garbage or other items behind. Remember the motto: take out what you bring in. 

35.  Leave extra wood: If you have no use for it at home, leave your extra firewood. With fewer things to pack, this is one of the camping rules that benefit you and those who use your site after you.

36.  Put everything back: If you moved the picnic table, or other items on the site, move them back. And, if you created holes or trenches fill these in, they can be dangerous for new campers.

Campsite #4 RV rental

37.   The RV rental owned by Glory Land Campground and Events is subject to inspection. No subletting, or kerosene heaters. Electric heaters must be approved in advance. A $25 non-refundable deposit per pet will be required. Maximum of 2 pets.  Pets must be 40 pounds or less.

38.  Excessive Cleaning Fee: A fee of $200 will be charged if the RV is left extremely unclean or with excessive garbage. This fee compensates for the additional cleaning required to restore it to a welcoming state for the next guests. Damage to Property: Any damage to the RV will be assessed, and the guest responsible will be charged the cost of repair or replacement.

Monthly Rental

39.  All monthly rentals will be required to sign a lease agreement.

40.  All rents are to be paid on arrival and then on the 1st of the month thereafter.  If not, we will give a courteous call for it to be paid.  Each day you do not pay your rent you will be charged an additional $5 per day.  If you have not paid by the 8th of the month in full, you will be evicted from Glory Land Campground and Events.

41.  Electric bills are due on the 1st of the month.

42.  We will prorate your rent when you arrive after the first of the month.  We will not prorate your rent when you leave.  If you decide to leave after the first of the month there will be no refund for unused days.

43.  If you have a return check, there is a fee of $25 for all checks as well as the fees that your bank charges.

44.  Monthly sites are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

No modifications or destruction of any kind shall be made to Glory Land Campground and Events.  Any damage will result in immediate termination of your lease, and you will be asked to vacate the property with no refund.  Guests are responsible for any damage and repair caused on Glory Land Campground and Events property. Guests agree to pay for all damage incurred during their stay.  Guests acknowledge this policy when agreeing to terms and conditions.

 

If there is something we can do to make your stay more enjoyable, please let us know! We reserve the right to expel anyone (without refund) who refuses to obey the campground rules.

NO SOLICITATION of any kind will be tolerated.  No illegal activities are to be conducted on Glory Land Campground and Events Property.  If the authorities are called for any reason other than Emergency (i.e., needing an ambulance) you will be asked to vacate the premises immediately. This would be for any illegal activity such as drugs on property, fighting (physical or verbal), theft, etc. There will be no refund.

 

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Glory Land Campground and Events for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, and other claims arising out of or in connection with guests’ use of the property.  Further, guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Glory Land Campground and Events from all losses, claims, expenses, and demands, including attorney’s fees, that Glory Land Campground and Events may incur arising out of or in connection with guests’ use of the property.  Guests further agree to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group.  Glory Land Campground and Events reserves the right to remove any guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a state sexual offender registration program.  Management shall not be held liable for or responsible for the non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.  Glory Land Campground and Events or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person’s property or thing whatsoever caused.  The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper, or group of campers for any cause.
