General Rules, Guidelines and Information
We are Big Rig Friendly!
Welcome to Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma! You have chosen one of the finest resorts on Lake Texoma. We cater to those who expect high standards of beauty, quality and safety for their family RV vacation.
Please familiarize yourself with these guidelines. Common sense and common courtesy are expected.

General Resort Information
· Check out time is 11:00am. Check in time is 2:00pm.
· Rental Office hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm daily. Closed on Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
· Quiet time is 10:00pm to 8:00am. Disruptive noise, abusive language or conduct will not be permitted at any time.
· High profile exterior lighting on RV must be turned off by 10:00pm.
· Maximum overnight guests are limited to 6 per RV site (daily charge of $10/guest after the first (4). No more than 6 total people allowed per site including overnight and daily guests. All daily visitors must leave the resort by 10:00pm.
· No Smoking or “Vaping” is allowed in ALL common buildings and common areas.
· No Refunds for any bookings.
· There is a minimum stay of three nights during a holiday weekend.
· All sites must be kept neat and tidy. Trash/garbage must be placed in waste receptacles at end of drive. Trash can be placed in front of RV at 10:00am and 6:00pm daily for complimentary pick-up service.
· Parents and/or guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children at all times.
· Anyone (guest or visitor) who willfully or negligently defaces, damages or destroys property/equipment on the Resort shall be liable for full replacement value.
· No clothesline, freestanding patio covers or enclosures are allowed. Due to underground irrigation systems, no pegs, augers or stakes are permitted on lawns.
· All cooking devices must remain on the patio area. Propane and charcoal grills/fire pits are allowed. Wood fires are NOT permitted at any time on the ground. No fire rings are permitted.
· O-ring, donut or screw-in fittings for sewer connections must be used at all times.
· Removable platforms/decks/steps are permitted provided that they are considered safe and are constructed and finished to be compatible with resort standards. All must be removed from site upon departure.
· Water is a precious commodity.
· Generators are not required and must not be operated in the Resort except for emergencies (i.e. Power failure), operational checks and maintenance.
· If your vehicle or RV requires service or mechanical repairs, please inquire at the Office before contracting any services.
· Discharging of firearms and fireworks are strictly prohibited.
· No soliciting or commercial activities are permitted.
· Temporary blowup or wading pools and hot tubs are not permitted.
· All guests and visitors must comply with the City of Gordonville’s evacuation regulations in the event of a tornado warning. In case of severe weather, seek shelter in the bathrooms or the laundry room.
· RV’s must be moveable upon short notice. RV owners are responsible for removal of their RV and belongings.
· To respect the privacy and safety of all our guests, NO DRONES are to be flown inside the resort.
· No horseplay, fighting, pushing/shoving, running, yelling or other abusive and/or profane language.
· These rules are to enhance the safety for all persons. Violators of these rules may be asked to leave the park without a refund.
· It is not the intent of this policy to discriminate against any individual subject to protection under any federal or state laws. If any provision of this policy is found to be in violation of any law, then that provision shall be considered to be null and void and the remainder of these rules will remain intact and enforceable.
Cancellation Policy
We offer a flexible rescheduling policy: if you need to cancel, we will issue a full credit in the amount paid for a future stay within the next 12 months, as we do not provide refunds.
Rental Terms
All monthly stays require a background check at the applicants expense. There is also a $150 electric deposit.
Rates include all taxes, water, sewer and WIFI. THE USE OF RESORT WIFI FOR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY, INCLUDING DOWNLOADING LARGE FILES AND MEDIA, BOOTLEG MOVIES, AND FILESHARING, IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. YOU WILL BE REPORTED TO OUR ISP IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN VIOLATION OF THIS POLICY.
· Rates may change without notice.
· Rates are based on 4 people. Sites may be up to 6 people per site, with additional fee of $10.00 per person per night.
· There is an additional charge of $0.1455 per KWH for metered electric on monthly rates.
· Confirmed reservations are guaranteed by credit card.
· Pet breed restrictions, leash and pickup are enforced. Please check with reservations staff prior to arrival for guidelines.
· All units are subject to approval.
· Persons under the age of 21 may not rent unless accompanied by an adult.
· Late arrivals must make special arrangements.
Parking & Vehicles
· SPEED LIMIT THROUGHOUT THE RESORT IS 5 MPH.
· For the comfort of your neighbor, please limit the idling of your motor coach or diesel vehicle while at your site.
· Limit one RV per site and a maximum of two car/truck vehicles per site or one golf cart and one passenger vehicle at one time. No boats or trailers of any type at rv site. Storage is available for a fee.
· RV units are to be parked with utility connection abutting the service area. A towed RV unit must have the hitch facing the street.
· All RV’s must be in excellent repair. No RV over 10 years old may be placed on any site without approval.
· NO tents are allowed. All units are subject to approval and must be self-contained.
· No utility trailers are allowed in the resort community except for loading and unloading.
· All must be parked in the area designated. These sites are reserved for trailers at $2.00 per day.
· Small boats or kayaks, etc., carried on top of the towing vehicle may be kept at your site on vehicle or patio area (not on grass).
· NO PARKING IN THE STREETS, GRASS OR LANDSCAPED AREAS AT ANYTIME.
· NO PARKING ON VACANT OR UNDERDEVELOPED LOTS.
· The use of vehicles such as electric scooter, bikes, skateboards, etc, by anyone after dark is strictly prohibited.
· Radio Controlled (R/C) cars, boats and drones are strictly prohibited on Resort property.
· NO ATVs or UTVs allowed in Resort.
Pet Guidelines
· Pets must be on a leash at all times and under control of the owner at all times.
· Pet Stations are provided. You MUST promptly pick up after your pet. Failure to do so may result in a $50.00 clean up fee.
· Pets may never be left unattended outside or create a noise disturbance.
· Pet vaccination records should be available for inspection.
· Restricted Canine species as follows: Akitas, Presa Canarios, Chow Chows, Doberman Pinchers, Pitt Bull Terriers, American Stafford Terriers, Rottweilers, Wolf/Dog Hybrids, mixed breeds linked to any of the breeds listed here, or any trained attack or fighting dogs, regardless of breed. Dogs that exhibit overly aggressive behavior are also forbidden in the Resort.
· Maximum of 2 dogs allowed per site.

Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma Management

Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma and management are not responsible for loss, damage or claims of damages to anyone’s property. Reservations made under false pretense shall result in automatic and immediate termination of occupancy and forfeiture of entire funds.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
READ CAREFULLY – THIS AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
In exchange for participation in the activity of lodging organized by Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma LLC, of 730 Oxford Drive, Gordonville, Texas 76245 and/or use of the property, facilities and services of Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma LLC, I agree for myself and (if applicable) for the members of my family, to the following:
1. AGREEMENT TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings, and further agree to follow any oral instructions or directions given by Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma LLC, or the employees, representatives or agents of Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma LLC.
2. ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS AND RELEASE. I recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with lodging at an rv park/resort and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) my family members, and further release and discharge Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma LLC for injury, loss or damage arising out of my or my family’s use of or presence upon the facilities of Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma LLC, whether caused by the fault of myself, my family, Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma LLC or other third parties.
3. INDEMNIFICATIONS. I agree to indemnify and defend Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma LLC against all claims, causes or action, damages, judgments, costs or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may in any way arise from mine or my family’s use of or presence upon the facilities of Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma LLC.
4. FEES. I agree to pay for all damages to the facilities of Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma LLC caused by any negligent, reckless, or willful actions by me or my family.
5. APPLICABLE LAW. Any legal or equitable claim that may arise from participation in the above shall be resolved under Texas law.
6. NO DURESS. I agree and acknowledge that I am under no pressure or duress to sign this Agreement and that I have been given a reasonable opportunity to review it before signing. I further agree and acknowledge that I am free to have my own legal counsel review this Agreement if I so desire. I further agree and acknowledge that Gone Fishing RV Resort Lake Texoma LLC has offered to refund any fees I have paid to use its facilities if I choose not to sign this Agreement.
7. ARM’S LENGTH AGREEMENT. This Agreement and each of its terms are the product of an arm’s length negotiation between the Parties. In the event any ambiguity is found to exist in the interpretation of this Agreement, or any of its provisions, the Parties, and each of them, explicitly reject the application of any legal or equitable rule of interpretation which would lead to a construction either “for” or “against” a particular party based upon their status as the drafter of a specific term, language, or provision giving rise to such ambiguity.
8. ENFORCEABILITY. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Agreement, whether standing alone or as applied to a particular occurrence or circumstance, shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement or any other applications of such provision, as the case may be, and such invalid of unenforceable provision shall be deemed not to be a part of this Agreement.
9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION. The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement through friendly negotiations amongst the parties. If the matter is not resolved by negotiation, the parties will resolve the dispute using the below Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedure.
Any controversies or disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement will be submitted to mediation in accordance with any statutory rules or mediation. If mediation does not successfully resolve the dispute, then the parties may proceed to seek an alternative form of resolution in accordance with any other rights and remedies afforded to them by law.
I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT AND UNDERSTAND IT. I FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE, I VOLUNTARILY SURRENDER CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS
