Campground Policies
- Check-In time is 2:00 pm. Check-Out time is 1:00 pm.
- All campers must register at the office immediately upon arrival. Staff will lead you to your site after registration.
- Must be 18 years old to reserve a camping site.
- Quiet hours are 10:00 pm until 8:00 am
- Visitors are welcomed between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm. Visitors will obey all campground policies.
- Campfires are allowed in site fire ring. All fires must be attended and put out completely when done. Please do not use fire rings as garbage pits. Dispose of garbage in designated receptacles. Do not relocate fire rings. If concerned about fire ring location, please visit the office.
- This is a family campground. Alcoholic beverages are permissible only if quietly consumed at the campsite by adults of legal age. No loud or drunken behavior will be tolerated.
- No cutting or nailing to trees or bushes. No lights, wires, clothesline, hammocks or leashes may be attached to trees.
- Campers are responsible for the conduct, behavior, and monitoring of their children, pets, and visitors. Young children are not to be left unattended, including in restrooms, on playground and at the campsite.
- Campers are financially responsible for any damage to campground property, intentional or accidental; so please respect the grounds.
- Smoking (including the use of electronic smoking devices) is prohibited in all buildings and within 20 feet of all public entrances. Please do not dispose of cigarette butts or electronic smoking devices on the ground.
- Golf carts are allowed at the campground. ORVs are not permitted on the campground.
- No firearms, fireworks, explosives, or drugs allowed.
- No swimming.
- No washing of any vehicle, RV, or trailer.
- No use of sprinklers, pools, slip ’n’ slides, etc. Excessive use of water is not allowed.
- Fishing is for campers only. Visitors are not allowed to fish. Observe Illinois Fish and Wildlife rules and regulations which are posted on the office board. No minnow fishing.
- Do not dispose of baby wipes in septic system.
- Vehicles other than towing vehicle must be parked in parking lots provided.
- Common courtesy will prevail between all guests in the park. Profane, abusive, or threatening language or actions directed at campground personnel or other guests is prohibited and can result in immediate removal from campground without refund.
Reservation Policies
- All rates include up to 2 adults and 2 children. Additional fees for nightly stay extra persons are $3/night for adults and $/night for children (ages 0-17). Additional fees for monthly stay extra persons are $100/month for adults and $50/month for children.
- Full payment of your stay is taken upon reservation.
- 2-3 night minimum for holiday weekends may apply.
- Early and late check-in/check-out may be available and is based on site availability. Must call ahead to confirm.
- Early arrival between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM – $10 additional fee.
- Late Departure between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM – $10 additional fee.
Cancellation Policies
- Cancelling your reservation within 14 days of your stay will result in no refund. Example: A Friday reservation needs to be cancelled two (2) Fridays prior.
- Cancelling your reservation 14 or more days in advance of your stary will receive a full refund minus a $20 cancellation fee.
Pet Policies
- Dogs and cats are the only permissible pets.
- Maximum of two (2) pets per campsite.
- All pets outside must be on a leash at all times.
- Pets should be kept quiet and under control at all times.
- All pet droppings shall be the responsibility of the pet owner and must be promptly cleaned up and disposed of in a trash receptacle.
- No pets are allowed in the office, bathhouse, laundry facility, or other buildings on property.
- Campers with pets that continuously bark or are left unattended will be removed from the campground without refund. Camper is responsible for any damages caused by their pet.
Laundry Facility Policies
- Washers are available starting at $2.50 each load. Dryer is available at $.25 for 7 minutes.
- Remove clothes in a timely manner after cycle is complete.
- Give others 15 minutes after a cycle has finished before removing their clothes from the machine. Please place in laundry basket or set on table or counter.
- Be respectful of other’s laundry.
- Do not overload machines or use too much soap. Keep the laundry room neat and tidy and always clean up spills and messes.
- Shut off the light and close the door completely when exiting.
Campsite Policies
- All site rates include up to 2 adults and 2 children (ages 0-17).
- An additional charge of $3/night for an adult and $2/night for a child will be added for extra person. A maximum of 8 persons may stay at a site
- • ONE (1) CAMPING UNIT PER SITE (a camping unit is (1) RV, Tent, Pop-up, Truck Camper or Van). Some sites can accommodate one (1) tent with your RV, Pop-up, Truck Camper, or Van for an additional $15 fee. Contact office for information. •
- Additional charge for vehicles using electricity during cold weather. •
- TV, radios, music players etc. are to be kept at a low volume at all times. •

In consideration of Hickory Holler Campground, LLC (hereinafter HHC) furnishing premises and/or services to enable me to voluntarily participate in camping and any activity or event ancillary thereto, including but not limited to taking part in any amenity, program, game, contest, sport or recreation of Hickory Holler Campground, LLC, I agree as follows:
- I, on behalf of myself, my personal representatives and my heirs, hereby voluntarily agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify HHC and its members, employees, officers, volunteers, agents and lessors from any and all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services, or which otherwise may arise out of my use or occupancy of any and all premises or services, or my participation in any and all activities (collectively, the Premises). I understand that I am releasing, discharging and waiving any claims or actions that I may have presently or in the future for the negligent acts or other conduct by the members, employees, officers, volunteers, agents or lessors of HHC. Unless otherwise noted, this waiver is valid until rescinded in writing and delivered by US Postal Service to 9876 E. 2000th Avenue, West York, IL, 62478.
- The Premises are privately owned. HHC Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason except for those prohibited by law. HHC Management reserves the right to ask any person or party to leave the Premises based on violations of rules, policies or regulations, or any other behavior that Management deems inappropriate or disturbing to others. I have read this notice and agree to it as well as all HHC rules, policies and regulations. In addition, I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including but not limited to any children, and any guests that visit during my stay.
- I agree to pay any and all outstanding fees on my account prior to departure, including but not limited to lodging fees, charges for electric, or any other unpaid charges to my account. If I fail to pay my account in full prior to departure, I authorize HHC to charge the most recent payment method on my account to receive payment in full for the said unpaid fees.
- I hereby irrevocably grant to HHC perpetually, exclusively, and for all media throughout the world (including print, non- theatrical, home video, digital or analog media, internet and any other electronic medium presently in existence or invented in the future), the right to use and incorporate (alone or together with other materials), in whole or in part, photographs or video footage taken of me and of all other persons registered in my party, including but not limited to any children and any guests that visit during my stay, as a result of my use of the Premises owned and managed by HHC.
I have read the above Agreement, and by accepting the foregoing consideration and signing it, agree as a participant or as a parent or guardian that it is my intention to exempt and relieve HHC from all liability for any personal injury, property damage or wrongful death caused by negligence or any other cause.
