Terms & Conditions
Overnight/Weekend/Monthly/Seasonal Camping
Check In after 2 PM / Check Out before 12 Noon
All campers, their families, and their guests are subject to all campground rules and regulations. By staying at the campground, they agree to comply and obey:
- All federal and state laws
- All county, township, and local ordinances
All campground rules, including those outlined in this agreement and any posted regulations.
1. RV Site Occupancy Policy
Each designated RV site is limited to one (1) recreational vehicle (RV).
Acceptable RV types include:
- Motorhomes
- Fifth Wheels
- Fully enclosed travel trailers
Tents, including rooftops or ground tents, are strictly prohibited within all RV sites.
- This policy is in place to ensure safety, maintain site integrity, and preserve the quality of the guest experience for all visitors. Failure to comply may result in removal from the premises without refund.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in immediate removal from the campground. Violators will be escorted out, and no refunds will be issued.

2. Quiet Hours & Campground Rules
To ensure a safe and family-friendly environment, all guests must follow these guidelines:
- Quiet Time: 10:00 PM- 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of fellow campers.
- Supervision:
- A minimum of one adult (18 years or older) must be present in the camping group.
- Children (17 years and younger) must remain at their campsite after dark unless accompanied by an adult.
- Children (14 years and younger) must be accompanied by an adult in pool, clubhouse, office, camp store, or playground areas for the safety of the children.
- Traffic & Parking:
- The speed limit is 10 MPH at all times for all vehicles including golf carts and mopeds.

- Campers must not block roadways with vehicles or golf carts.
- There is a limit of one (1) golf carts per campsite.
- Oversized and commercial vehicles, and utility trailers must be parked in overflow parking areas.
- Washing of RVs and Vehicles is prohibited
- Noise Control:
- Excessive noise from vehicles, golf carts, or mopeds will not be tolerated.
- If noise complaints are received, the vehicle must be removed or not be used until proper repairs are made.
- Stereos must be kept at a reasonable volume.
Failure to follow these rules may result in loss of privileges and/or removal from the campground without refund.
3. RV Age & Condition Policy
To maintain the quality and appearance of our campground, all RVs must meet the following requirement:
- Age Limit: RVs must be no more than 12 years old from the current model year. Exceptions may be considered at the discretion of management.
- Condition: RVs must be in good cosmetic condition, free from excessive wear, damage, or deterioration.
- Approval Process: Management may require photos of the RV for approval before arrival.
Management reserves the right to deny entry to any RV that does not meet these standards. For questions or approval inquiries, please contact campground management.
4. Wastewater Disposal Policy
Draining gray water or black water directly onto the ground is strictly prohibited. All wastewaters must be disposed of properly at designated dump stations or sewer hookups in compliance with campground rules and environmental regulations.
Violations of this policy may result in immediate removal from the campground.
5. Pets Policy
To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests, the following pet rules must be observed:
- Two Pets are allowed per site.
- All pets must always be on a leash, except when inside the designated dog park area.
- Noise Control: All pets must be kept quiet and not disturb other campers.
- Supervision: Pets must not be left unattended outside at any time.
- Cleanup: Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
- Nighttime Rules: Pets must be kept inside at night.
- Restricted Areas: Pets are not allowed at the pool, on the beach, in the clubhouse, or any campground activities.
- Management Authority: Campground management reserves the right to require the removal of any pet at any time if deemed necessary.
By bringing a pet into the campground, owners agree to follow these rules. Failure to comply may result in the removal from the campground without refund.
6. Swimming Pool & Beach Policy
For the safety of all guests, the following rules apply to the swimming pool and beach areas:
- Supervision & Safety:
- Children 14 years and younger are not permitted in pool or swimming beach areas without an adult.
- Children and individuals who do not know how to swim must have adult supervision at all times.
- Life jackets are required for non-swimmers while using the pool or swimming at the beach.
- No Lifeguard on Duty: Swim at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty at the pool or beach.
- Pets: Dogs and other pets are not allowed on the beach or in the pool area.
Failure to follow these rules may result in the loss of access to the pool or beach areas.
7. Campfire & Fire Safety Policy
To ensure the safety of all campers and the preservation of the campground, the following fire regulations must be followed:
- Fire Location:
- Campfires and any other fires are only permitted in designated fire pits.
- The community fire pit is open for all guests to use.
- Firewood & Burning Restrictions:
- Burning household items is strictly prohibited.
- Cutting or damaging standing trees is not allowed. Firewood must be sourced appropriately.
- Fire Pit Placement & Safety:
- Fire rings must be placed at least 10 feet away from RVs, campers, or any structures on either campsite.
8. Prohibited Items & Conduct Policy
To maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests, the following rules apply:
- Weapons & Hunting:
- Hunting and possession of firearms or weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.
- This includes but is not limited to handguns, shotguns, rifles, compound bows, BB guns, slingshots, and any other weapons.
- Drugs & Illegal Activities:
- The possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
- Marijuana use is prohibited outside of your camper and in all public areas of the campground.
- Behavior & Conduct:
- Unruly, threatening, or violent behavior from any camper, guest, or family member will not be tolerated.
- Fighting, harassment, or any form of disruptive behavior will result in immediate eviction from the campground.
- Political Flags and Signs:
- To maintain a welcoming and neutral environment for all guests, political signs and flags are not permitted within the campground.
Failure to comply with these policies will result in immediate removal from the campground without a refund.
9. No Fireworks or Firecrackers Policy
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, fireworks and firecrackers are strictly prohibited within the campground. Violations of this policy may result in immediate removal from the resort without a refund.
10. EV Charging Policy
The charging of electric vehicles (EVs) is strictly prohibited within the campground.
Guests must use designated EV charging stations outside the campground if charging is needed.
Violations of this policy may result in additional fees or removal from the campground.
11. Propane Tank Policy
For safety reasons, propane tanks must be no larger than 7 gallons and must remain secure at all times within the campground.
12. Golf Cart Policies
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, the following rules apply to the use of golf carts within the campground:
- Allowed Vehicles: Only golf carts are permitted. No other motorized recreational vehicles are allowed.
- Driver Requirements: Operators must possess a valid driver's license at all times while driving within the campground.
- Alcohol & Driving: Operating a golf cart while over the legal alcohol limit is against the law. Management will contact law enforcement if violations occur.
- Passenger Limits:
- Golf carts may carry only as many passengers as there are seats.
- Safety & Equipment:
- Headlights must be used after dark for safety.

- Golf carts must have front and rear lights and a proper muffler.

Golf carts may not be driven after 11:00 PM, except for special events or holiday celebrations.
Bicycles:

- Bicycle riding is not allowed after dark for safety reasons.
Failure to follow these rules may result in loss of golf cart/moped privileges or removal from the campground.
13. Liability Disclaimer
Hidden Lakes RV Resort, LLC is not responsible for any damage to a camper's property, including but not limited to:
- Paddle boats, kayaks, canoes, trailers, campers, motor vehicles, or equipment.
- Damage caused by acts of God, such as falling trees, rain, ice, wind, sleet, lightning, flooding, fire, etc.
- Theft or malicious destruction of property.
14. Indemnification & Liability Policy
By using the campground and its facilities, the camper agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless Hidden Lakes RV Resort, LLC from any and all liability, injuries, and damages, including but not limited to:
- Liability, injuries, or damage caused to any person or property due to negligence, breach of duty, or breach of contract by any party.
- Any claims arising from Hidden Lakes RV Resort, LLC's negligence, breach of duty, breach of contract, or any other cause of action.
Campers use the campground and its facilities at their own risk. Hidden Lakes RV Resort, LLC is not responsible for any injuries to campers, their families, or their guests.
15. Campground Rights & Legal Policy
The owners of Hidden Lakes RV Resort, LLC, reserve the right to evict any camper at their discretion. Campers are expected to follow all campground rules, policies, and applicable laws.
As stated in Michigan Statute 554.653, Act 162, Section 3, any legal action or litigation arising from this camper agreement shall be heard in the Jackson County, Michigan District or Circuit Court.
If any portion or section of this agreement is found to be unconstitutional or against public policy, all remaining portions shall remain in full effect.
