Kentucky River Campground Rules and Guidelines
Welcome to Kentucky River Campground! We’re glad you’ve chosen to stay with us. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please take a moment to review our rules and guidelines.

Trash Disposal:
Please dispose of your trash in the dumpster located to the left of the boat yard. Keep the campground clean for all to enjoy. -
Parking:
Do not park on campsites or block roads. Ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas to allow easy access for other campers. -
Quiet Hours:
To respect the rest of all guests, quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Some of our campers are traveling and need their rest. -
Visitors:
All visitors must register at the office upon arrival and leave the park by 11:00 PM. This helps us maintain a safe and organized environment. -
Checkout Time:
Checkout is at 12:00 PM (Noon). Please ensure you vacate your site by this time to allow for proper preparation for incoming guests. -
Pets:
County law requires that pets remain on a leash at all times. Please keep your pets under control and quiet. Pets may not be left unattended at any campsite. Pet owners must clean up after their pets—doggie stations are set up throughout the campground. -
Speed Limit:
For the safety of all guests, a speed limit of 5 miles per hour is strictly enforced throughout the campground. -
Upper Shelter:
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult while at the Upper Shelter. Adult supervision is required for their safety. -
Picnic Tables:
Picnic tables are intended for use at the site they are provided. Please do not move tables from one site to another without prior permission. -
Children's Safety:
Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children while on campground property. Please ensure they are supervised at all times. -
Restrooms:
Please help us keep our restrooms clean by disposing of waste properly. For your safety and comfort, please refrain from playing in the restrooms. -
Swimming Risk:
The Kentucky River is not owned by the campground, and we do not provide lifeguard services. Swim at your own risk. -
Rock Bar and Boat Docks:
The boat docks are privately owned and are reserved for the use of the owners only. Handicapped vehicles are the only vehicles permitted on the rock bar. -
Behavior:
We reserve the right to evict any guest who creates a disturbance, becomes a nuisance, or fails to follow campground rules. Please be respectful of others and the environment. -
Cancellations:
For cancellations, please contact the campground at 502-227-2465.
- All reservations are subject to a $5 cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled arrival date will incur a fee equal to one night's stay plus tax.
- Please note that there are no refunds for early departures.
- Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your cooperation.
