CANCELLATION POLICY

Please read carefully:

ALL CANCELLATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO A $15 PROCESSING FEE

Cancellations made 30 DAYS OR MORE before arrival date will receive a full refund less a $15 processing fee. Deposits paid by cash, money order, or cashiers check will be refunded within 10 business days. Deposits paid by check will be refunded 30 days after the process date.

Cancellations made 29 DAYS OR LESS before arrival date will be charged for one night and a $15 processing fee. You will receive a camp credit for the remainder of your deposit. (MUST BE USED WITHIN 12 MONTHS AND IS NOT TRANSFERABLE).

FORMAL GROUP RESERVATION PROGRAM: NO REFUNDS, NO SITE /DATE CHANGES AFTER DEPOSIT IS PAID - NO EXCEPTIONS

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue KRS at Camp James for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KRS at Camp James from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that KRS at Camp James may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. KRS at Camp James reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.

Pet Policy: Max 2 pets. Pets cost $5/ per pet per night. We are a pet-friendly resort, but pets must be on a 6ft leash at all times, cleaned up after and may not disturb other guests. Pets are the responsibility of the owner. Due to insurance mandates breed restrictions are in effect. No Pitbulls, Amstaffs, Rottweilers or any mixed breed that has one or more of the restricted breeds in the mix. Management reserves the right to have disruptive or aggressive dogs removed from the grounds.

Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.

KRS at Camp James or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property or thing howsoever caused.

The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any cause.

Resort Guidelines:

Check in time: 2pm (absolutely no arrivals after 9pm)

Check out time: 12pm

Most RV sites have cable but it is *not a guarantee. Wi-Fi is for ONE user but upgradable.

*NEW RULE: kiddie/wading pools are no longer allowed.

We are a Family Campground. To make everyone's stay enjoyable, please adhere to the following policies

WRISTBANDS ARE MANDATORY:

For safety and it identifies you as our guest; giving you full use of the facilities and activities (when available)

QUIET TIME - 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM

MAX PERSONS PER SITE - Base rate covers your first 2 people, additional people will cost $5/ per person per night (age 7+). 6 overnight AND up to 4 day guests (must depart by 9:00 PM) Day guest fee $5/person/day (parking not available for day guests)

MUSIC / ELECTRONICS - In consideration of others please limit the volume within your own campsite and off at 10:00 PM. Also please turn down bright outside lights.

MOTORCYCLES / QUADS - Respectful riders are welcome. Gas powered mini bikes, scooters, etc may not be ridden inside the resort.

FOR SAFETY REASONS the riding of Bikes, Ebikes, Scooters etc is limited to daytime hours only

NO GENERATOR USE IN THE RESORT.

ARRIVAL TIME - 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. (Times are subject to change in off season)

CHECK OUT TIME - 11:00 AM to 12 Noon

PLEASE - Do not leave items on the river front overnight. Do not "cut" through other campers sites.

PARKING- For safety reasons, only one car per site. Limited extra parking spaces available.

UTILITY TRAILER/STORAGE TRAILER- For safety reasons, these must be parked in our upper lot.

2 TENTS MAX PER SITE and No tents on sites with RV's/Cabins.

TENTS - are not allowed on sites with RV's, cabins, etc.

WE LOVE OUR TREES - Please do not carve, cut, chip, or trim any trees or shrubs. Painting/graffiti on any campground property is prohibited. Fines will be incurred for any damage done to the property. Notify the office if there is a problem at your site.

WASTE WATER - NO waste water of any kind may be discharged into the creeks, river, or campsite. Please use our dump station.

CAMPFIRES - Fire rings and BBQs are provided at all sites. Fire rings are not to be moved.

FIREWORKS, FIREARMS, SLING SHOTS, BOW & ARROWS AND

OTHER PROJECTILES ARE PROHIBITED

AGE REQUIREMENT - Must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation.

PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY - All children must be under direct adult supervision. Parents will be held responsible for the actions of minor children. Minors must be on their site and under direct adult supervision by 10:00PM.
