Policies, Procedures, and Regulations
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
The camper and all members of his/her group agree that in consideration of the rental (whether a campsite, general facility or equipment), King Phillips Campground shall not be responsible for loss or damage to property, or injury to person, occurring in or around grounds owned by King Phillips Campground, by reason of any existing or future condition, defect, matter, or thing on said lands or for acts, omissions or negligence of other persons or camper in or around the premises. The campers agree to indemnify and hold King Phillips Campground harmless from all claims and liability for loss of or damages to property, or injury to persons occurring in or around the campground.
By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue King Phillips RV LLC, dba King Phillips Campground for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The King Phillips Campground from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that The King Phillips Campground may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. The King Phillips Campground reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.
1. Arrival
All campers and guests are required to register at the office, pay a fee if applicable, and obtain a car tag prior to entering the campground. Vehicle tags must be displayed at all times during your stay. Please let the office know if you are expecting visitors. Daily visitors should depart by 10 PM. Quiet time is from 10 PM to 8 AM.
2. Check in/Check Out
Check in time is 2:00 PM for RVs/Tents and 4:00 PM for the cabin. Check out time is 11:00 AM unless prior arrangements have been made with management. We will do our best to accommodate you.
3. Extending Your Stay
If you want to extend your stay please re-register by 9:00 a.m. of the day you wish to stay. Please keep in mind, the sooner you let us know the more likely you will be able to stay on your current campsite.
4. Speed Limit
The speed limit is 5 MPH. Please assist us in the upkeep of the park by staying on the roadways with cars and motorized vehicles. Please do not park on roadways or vacant sites.
5. Pets
We welcome your pets. We ask that you bring up-to-date rabies vaccine paperwork for your pets. It does not have to be the original. It can be a copy, or a picture on your personal device to keep with you. This is a precaution to keep you, your pets, and others safe while staying with us. As always, please keep them on a leash and pick up after them for everyone’s benefit. Pets are not allowed in the restrooms, showers, laundry room, office, or pool gates.
6. Wireless Internet
We offer FREE WiFi as an additional service for you.
7. Camping Units
Each accommodating site may have up to 1 camping unit, 1 tent, and 1 screen room. Tents should not be placed on grassy areas if at all possible. There is a limit of 6 people per site.
8. Vehicles, Trailers, Golf Carts & Boats
There is a limit of 2 vehicles per campsite. Any additional vehicles must be parked by the office.
Open/Enclosed Trailers are allowed to be parked on the site as long as it stays on the gravel pad. If the trailer does not fit on the gravel pad, it will need to be put in our storage lot for $30.00 per day.
Golf Carts are allowed not allowed in the campground for transient (overnight) guests.
Boats & Jet-skis are not allowed to be parked on the campsite for any reason. They will have to be put in our storage lot for $30.00 per day.
9. Children
Small children should be accompanied to the playground , bathroom, game room and swimming pool and never be left unsupervised. Anyone under the age of 14 MUST wear a helmet when bicycling, in-line skating, skateboarding, or on any kind of scooter.
10. No RV or Car Washing
Washing RV’s or vehicles is prohibited.
11. Generators
Generators are prohibited from use in the campground.
12. Pool
Please follow the posted pool rules at all times. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. A minimum of 2 adults 18 years of age must be present whenever the swimming facility is in use, with 1 being on deck. Only use the facility during the posted hours. Your consideration at the pool is appreciated by the guests and management. Please notify the office or management in case of an emergency and call 911. Be safe and have fun! NO FLOATS or RINGS/TUBES allowed in the pool. Pool Noodles are okay. Pets/Emotional Support animals are NOT allowed within the fenced in pool area. No food or drinks of any kind while in the pool or sitting on the edge of the pool. Drinks and food should stay at the tables or loungers along the fence of the pool.
13. Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages are allowed at your site. Please drink responsibly and note that the NY State drinking age is 21 and we expect everyone to obey.
14. Smoking / Vaping
Smoking / Vaping is not allowed inside park buildings or recreation areas. Marijuana and illegal drugs are strictly prohibited on the property.
15. Garbage and Recyclables
A garbage dumpster and recycling bins are located near the entrance to the park. Please dispose of only household trash in the dumpster.
16. Campfires
Campfires are permitted but should never be left unattended. The size of the flame must be under 2 feet and under control at all times. Campfires should not be burning after 11pm. The safe and proper use of campfires will ensure everyone’s enjoyment .
17. The following is Not Permitted at any time
The following is not permitted at any time – firearms and explosives, littering, loud music, smoking in the bathrooms, cutting of trees ($50.00 fine per foot), fires out of control, damaging property, or disruptive conduct. Anyone found in violation could be charged, fined, or asked to leave without a refund.
18. New York State Law
New York State Law – requires that every full hook up site must have a sewer collar. Sewer and wash water can not be drained on the ground.
New York State Law requires ALL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14 to wear helmets when bicycling, in-line skating, skateboarding, or on any kind of scooter. No Helmet= No Riding
Reservation and Cancellation Policies at our Lake George Campground & RV Park
1. Reservations
Reservations can be made online, by phone, e-mail, or in person. Please give an e-mail address to receive a confirmation. We accept credit cards from Master Card, Visa, and Discover. We do not accept personal checks or cash when you are at the campground.
2. Deposits
All reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. We no longer accept partial payment/deposits.
3. Changes
A 10 day notice is required for shifting dates, shortening stays or cancellations. 14 days for holiday weekends. Deposits will be refunded if requests for changes or cancellations are at least 10 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival (14 days for holiday weekends), less a $10.00 handling fee ($25 for holiday weekends) Your reservation will be held no later than 9:00 a.m. the following morning of your scheduled arrival unless the office is contacted to reconfirm the reservation. We do not give refunds due to weather, leaving early, or not rescheduling or cancelling within the given time frame.
