Rules and Regulations- Knot Working Tiny Town
Welcome to Knot Working Tiny Town!! Our desire is for you and your loved ones to have a peaceful, relaxing vacation with us! These rules make our town a safe, enjoyable, comfortable, and relaxing spot for all people all the time. Please help us achieve our desire by adhering to the following rules at all times. This will help ensure everyone has a fun relaxing outdoor adventure at Knot Working Tiny Town. These rules will be strictly enforced.
General
1. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: RV PARK: Check-out is 12:00 PM (noon) and Check-in is 2:00 PM. No check in past 10pm. You do not need to contact the office for check out, unless you need to pay for an after-hours check in.
2. SPEED LIMIT: Please observe the 10 mph park speed limit.
3. FIREARMS/FIREWORKS: Firearms and fireworks of any kind are not permitted on property.
4. CAMPSITES: Campsites are designated as single unit sites (1 RV or 1 tent). An adult 18 years or older must occupy the site of no more than 6 people. Each site may have up to 2 vehicles if the gravel area will accommodate all wheels on the gravel area. Please do not park on an empty campsite, on any grassy areas, or along the roadside.
5. OCCUPIED CAMPSITES: Please respect the privacy of fellow campers and do not walk through occupied campsites. Please be considerate of your neighbor. No loud music or excessive noise is allowed at any time.
6. DRUGS and CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES: WILL NOT BE ALLOWED OR TOLERATED. PERIOD. Anyone within or found on Knot Working Tiny Town property to be found consuming or in possession of illegal drugs will be removed immediately and the authorities called. Registered guests and visitors shall not engage in or facilitate or allow ANY criminal activity in the Town. NO Refund will be given for remainder of the stay.
7. BICYCLES: Bicycles without lights are not permitted after dark.
8. VISITORS: Only registered guests are allowed in the park. If you have a visitor, they must be registered ahead of time with the hosts and have a pass recorded on file. During a busy weekend, extra vehicle passes may be limited. Visitors may not bring pets. Knot Working RV Park reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. Day visitors must depart by 10:00 pm CST. Overnight visitors must depart by Noon CST. Please check with the office before inviting any visitors. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed.
9. BOATS/TRAILERS: Boat trailers (or boat & trailer) are to be parked in the designated parking area located on the left as you enter the park. If you fail to stop by the store for the proper paperwork on your boat or utility trailer the mentioned charge will be put on the credit card on file.
10. PETS: Please keep pets on a leash and pick up after them. Loud or incessant barking is not allowed and must be attended to at all times. At no time may a pet be tied to a tree or any other object and left unattended. Due to insurance regulations, all pets must be up to date on all vaccinations and aggressive breed dogs are not allowed in the park. Pets are not allowed in the general store or in restrooms. Excessive barking or dogs that are causing a disturbance will be removed from the park.
11. FIRE RINGS: Campfires are allowed only in the provided fire rings, which are on each site. Please attend to your fires. Fire pits are for firewood only. No garbage, aluminum, plastic, bottles, etc. are to be burned in the fire ring.
12. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10 pm – 6 am. Please turn off generators and disruptive outdoor strings lights by 10 pm.
13. SEPTIC: Please only flush out your black water tank when it is full. Black Water Tank valve must be closed at all other times. Do not flush toilet in RV out to septic system. The engineered system will get clogged. Do not flush "flushable" wipes, wipes, paper towels or sanitary products down any toilets in the bath houses or your RV. Our system has sensors that alert us. Use septic safe toilet paper only in your RV.
14. GOLF CARTS/ATV’S/MOTORCYCLES: Golf carts are allowed for transportation use only. ATV's, Gators etc., are not permitted. All Golf carts must be registered in the General Store from the website where you must purchase the registration for $25.00. You will then be sent a release to sign electronically. The cart must only be driven by licensed drivers. You must sign the release or you will not be able to operate your golf cart inside the park. Golf carts must abide by the 10 MPH speed limit and have lights if used after dark. Knot Working Tiny Town is NOT responsible for any theft, loss, or damage caused by golf carts. Anyone using or riding a golf cart does so at their own risk.
15. SMOKING: No smoking in restrooms, bath houses, laundry room, or general store. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
16. TREES/SHRUBBERY: Please do not attach anything to trees, No lights, hammocks, or clotheslines are allowed
17: LATE CHECKOUT: A late check-out cannot be scheduled in advance. Upon arrival and if your site is not rented the day of departure, you can request a late check-out. The cost for a late check-out is one half of the site's daily fees (site + electric & water).
18. Site Appearance: Sites must be well maintained. Absolutely NO outside refrigerators, freezers, make shift steps, inoperative vehicles, window AC units, towels or blankets covering windows, pet fences, drying laundry outside, clutter, or other unsightly items as determined by management. Lawn area around site will be kept clear of debris or other objects in order to be mowed.
19. Grills: Grills are allowed on the gravel area only.
20. PARKING: Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site unless noted. Extra vehicles will need to be parked in additional parking spots located on the left when you first enter the RV park. Please do not park on the grass. Ruts caused on your site due to additional vehicles will result in damage charges.
No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for and do not block the bathroom and laundry room doors. Parking on the grass is not permitted at RV Sites.
21. SEVERE WEATHER: In case of severe weather, seek shelter outside of the park. We do not have shelters at the park. We love pets, so please bring them with you and please do not leave them in your RV during severe weather warnings.
