Kritters Campground
By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Kritters Campground for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kritters Campground from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Kritters Campground may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. Kritters Campground reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.
Check in/Check out: Campground check-in starts at 1:00 PM and lodging check-in starts at 3:00 PM. Early check-ins or arrivals cannot be accommodated. Check out is no later than 11:00 AM. We are a small, family-run business with limited staff. Please allow us the time to prepare for incoming guests. Failure to vacate the campground or lodging by 11:00 AM will result in a $25 late check out fee plus $25 every 30 minutes thereafter. Guests arriving after 8:00 PM must make prior arrangements with the office. Reservations will be held until 11:00 AM the day after the scheduled arrival date. Kritters Campground is in the Eastern time zone.
Quiet Time: Quiet time is from 11:00 PM until 7:00 AM. Excessive noise at any time is not allowed. Please be respectful to your fellow campers.
Rugs & Mats: To preserve the grass on the campsites, NO RUGS OR MATS of any size are permitted on grass on the RV sites.
Campfires: Firewood is not allowed to be brought into the campground. Firewood must be purchased at Kritters Campground. Do not leave fires unattended. Campfires must be kept in the fire rings. Fire rings may not be moved without prior permission. No foraging for firewood or cutting/breaking of trees allowed. Do not leave trash, metal or cigarette butts in the fire rings.
Speed Limit: The speed limit is 5 MPH and is strictly enforced.
Campsite: Each campsite has a maximum occupancy depending on the site type, including no more than 4 adults on any site. Rates include up to 4 total guests. Extra charges will be added for additional guests. Day visitors must check in at the office and must leave by 10 PM. Each campsite is allowed no more than 2 vehicles or trailers in addition to one camping unit. Inquire at the office if additional parking is needed. You must have prior permission from the office before setting up a sleeping tent on an RV site. No more than two tents are allowed on tent sites, and no more than one tent and one camping unit are allowed on RV sites per state regulations. Camping units must be parked so that the utilities are on the hookup side of the unit per state regulations. No dumping of gray water or sewer on the ground at any time. Please contact the office immediately if a spill occurs.
Lodging: No smoking of any kind is allowed in any of the lodgings, and no pets are allowed in the Yooper Cottage or Superior Cabin. Evidence or odors of either will result in a $250 cleaning fee (plus any other damages). No open cooking in the cabins. For the safety of our younger guests, children under 6 are not permitted on the top bunk, and the recommended age is 10 and up.
Play Areas: Play areas are open 8:00 AM to dusk.
Damage: Damages to lodging or campground property will be repaired at the camper’s expense.
Water Usage: Washing of campers, ORVs, vehicles, and boats is not allowed.
Pets Policy: We are a pet-friendly campground. Pets are not allowed in the office/store, lodgings, or restrooms. Pets must be kept on a leash and may not be tied to trees. Pets may not be left unattended outside of your camper. Please use good judgment when leaving a pet in your camper while you are away. The nature trail is a great option for walking your dog. Please plan ahead and clean up after your pet. Kritters Campground is not responsible for and will hold accountable the pet owner for any injury or damage caused by a pet. Aggressive or dangerous animals will not be allowed.
Firearms & Fireworks: The use of firearms, air guns, BB guns, sling shots, or fireworks of any kind is prohibited. Please keep these items securely stored in your camping unit or vehicle.
Alcohol/Marijuana/Smoking: We are a family campground. Please be appropriate. All alcoholic beverages and marijuana must be consumed responsibly, and marijuana is not allowed off your campsite. Smoking is prohibited in play areas and all buildings.
WiFi: By accepting this agreement and accessing the wireless network, you acknowledge that you are of legal age, you have read and understood, and agree to be bound by this agreement.
The wireless network service is provided by the property owners and is completely at their discretion. Your access to the network may be blocked, suspended, or terminated at any time for any reason.
You agree not to use the wireless network for any purpose that is unlawful or otherwise prohibited and you are fully responsible for your use.
The wireless network is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations 15 or more days in advance of your stay will result in a cancellation fee equal to the first night’s stay (including booking/occupancy fees). Cancellations 8 to 14 days in advance of your stay will be refunded half of the total stay. Canceling your reservation 7 days or less in advance of your stay will result in no refund.
Refunds: There will be no refunds after you have checked in, for inclement weather, bugs, failure to follow the Rules & Regulations or disorderly conduct. Manager/Owner reserves the right to have discretion on all refunds.
Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.
Kritters Campground and its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property or thing howsoever caused.
The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any cause.
General Liability: All persons using the campground and your site agree to abide by and be subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations established for the use and occupancy of campgrounds. This property is privately owned. The camper accepts camping privileges with the understanding that he/she does hereby forever release, hold harmless and indemnify the campground, its officers and employees of any and all liability whatsoever for loss or damage to property and injury to his person arising out of his/her/its use of its camping facilities, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the campground, its owners, officers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury to the person or any member of the family or guest of the registered Camper arising out of the use of its camping facility.
