***Camping Groups of All Adults must ALL be over the age of 21! I.D. will be requested at time of check-in for all adult parties.
LAKE JOY CAMPGROUND GUIDELINES 2025
Low Season Store/Office Hours: Sun 10am – 3pm…..Mon – Thu 10am – 5pm…..Fri – Sat 10am – 7pm
High Season Store/Office Hours: Sun 10am – 3pm…..Mon – Thu 10am – 5pm…..Fri – Sat 10am – 9pm
• In an emergency call 911 and then call 1-608-762-5150 so that emergency personnel can be directed to your location
by campground staff. We have a 911 public emergency phone located outside front of office.
• For assistance 24 hours a day call 1-608-762-5150 (office). Bring any questions or concerns to the attention of a staff
member as soon as possible during your camping stay so that we may resolve the issue in a timely manner.
• For a tornado warning, campground sirens will sound. The storm shelter is located at the office in the basement.
• No weapons allowed anywhere on the campground.
• Children (12 & under) must be supervised by an adult everywhere on the campground.
• Helmets are required for all children & teens when riding bikes, skateboards, razors etc. No riding after dark.
• All children 16 and under must have an adult to supervise at the swimming area. All children 12 & under and non-
swimmers must wear a coast guard approved life jacket to use the lake at all times. Life jackets (as available) may be
rented at the office for $5.00 per day. No lifeguards are on duty.
• There is a separate roped-off swim area with water toys for children 10 and under ONLY. Adults may assist children
on the toys in the children’s swim area, but please do not go on the toys yourselves.
• No food or beverages are permitted in the water or on the inflatable water toys.
• Safe use of inflatable toys is required. No jumping off the “Freefall Swim Slide”. Jumping is only allowed off the
“Aquaglide Hammer”, trampoline, swim mat & swim float. Rough housing will result in loss of swim area privileges.
• The campground store has firewood, bait, ice, snacks, limited grocery items, camping/fishing supplies, L.P., and
gasoline available for sale. Cash or credit cards only. No ATM available.
• All guests of campers must stop at the office, pay applicable fees ($10 per adult…..$5 per child 3-12) and get a car
pass. Non-seasonal campers’ guests must leave by 11pm. Please inform guests of fees/hours prior to their arrival.
• Quiet hours are 11pm – 9am. Please be considerate of your neighboring campers by keeping all noise at a
reasonable level (music, voices etc.). No refunds if you are asked to leave.
• Fishing does not require a license. No live bait is allowed except for worms (available at the office). You may keep 30
pan fish per person per day. All other fish besides pan fish are catch and release. Clean fish at the designated fish
cleaning table and discard the remains at that garbage can only.
• The boat ramp is open during the same hours as the office. Campers are responsible for making sure that their boats
needing access to the boat ramp are either placed in or taken out of the water during this time. Boats are rented to
campers 16 years of age and older at: 10am/12pm/2pm/4pm. Pedal boats, canoes, kayaks, & flat bottom boats are
$10/hr. Boats with trolling motors are $20/hr. Boats are rented at office. Boat rentals are dependent on safe wind
speeds, and the discretion of staff. Life jackets are included. Only electric trolling motors may be used on the lake.
• Only Wisconsin certified firewood (proof of purchase required) may be burned on the campground. Firewood is
available at the office. Keep fires in designated fire pits. No bonfires.
• Dogs (limit of 2) must be leashed at all times. No loud or excessive barking allowed. Dogs are not permitted
anywhere in swimming areas including grass, sand, or water. You may not leave dogs unattended at your campsite.
All dog waste must be bagged and deposited in garbage cans.
• ATVs may be driven only from campsite to trails. UTVs and golf carts may be driven by licensed drivers anywhere on
the campground. Speed limit is 10mph. Any child, who is not licensed, may only drive an ATV with adult supervision.
• The game room is open during office/store hours. Safe use of games expected. Game room equipment can be
checked out at the office. Basketballs, volleyballs, and disk golf are also available to borrow at the office.
• No rugs, mats or carpets may be placed on the grass at your campsite.
• Fireworks, lighted sky lanterns, or drones are not permitted on the campground.
• Do not move any picnic tables or fire rings from any other site to your site. Deposit all trash in designated garbage
cans or dumpsters. Grey/black water may be emptied at the dump station upon departure only.
• The showers and laundry are open 24 hours per day. If you need change for the laundry, it is available at the office.
Campground Warranties/Disclaimers:
Campground prohibits discrimination against any camper because of race, color, national or ethnic origin, age, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, veteran status or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal or state law.
Campground will do its best to ensure that the services and amenities offered are provided.
Campground will not be responsible for any loss or damage to a camping unit that is not directly attributable to the Campground or its employees.
Campground assumes no responsibility for damage to any property owned by campers which results from severe weather, wind, fires, floods, or any other acts of nature.
Campground owners reserve the right to temporarily close the campground or any portion of the campground for extenuating circumstances due to weather, safety concerns or other problems which may arise and are out of the owners’ control.
The state of Wisconsin recognizes that there is an “Inherent Risk of Camping” associated with outdoor activities, and as such, the Campground is immune from civil liability as outlined in Wisconsin Statute 895.519.
Campground makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees other than those stated in these terms and conditions.
Cancellation Policy:
Refunds, minus 50% per reservation total are given if non-holiday reservations are cancelled at least
14 days prior to arrival. (For more detail review our "Refund Policy".)

14 days prior to arrival. Non-holiday reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival are not refundable.
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATION OF HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS.
Confirmations are emailed and verification of camping dates are the responsibility of campers.
