ELECTRIC VEHICLES - Protecting our environment is and always has been a priority, and we are researching the addition of EV charging stations in our campgrounds; however, there are currently no EV charging capabilities at our facilities.

While many of our campgrounds have electrical pedestals to power RVs, these pedestals function differently than EV charging stations.  RV electrical pedestals are designed for non-continuous loads, not the constant electricity flow required to charge EV batteries.  It is essential to know that plugging your EV into a 30-50 amp electric pedestal designed for RV usage can permanently damage your vehicle, as well as the campground’s electrical system.  Even if your vehicle came from the manufacturer with a charging converter, it does not change the way electricity flows through the electrical infrastructure.

Until our campgrounds can be equipped with EV charging stations, we cannot allow the charging of such vehicles.

Pets:

Pets are welcome in select lodging accommodations ONLY (Lodges 6-8) and all campgrounds.

There is a $4/pet/day fee for camping and day use. The pet fee for lodges is $75/pet/day and must be paid in advance at time of reservation. There is a limit of 4 pets per campsite and 2 per lodging unit.

Pets are NOT ALLOWED in Lodges 1-5, Lodges 9-19, Naci Cottage (NC20) or ANY of our trailers. IF A PET IS FOUND TO BE IN A NON-PET FRIENDLY UNIT, IT WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF THE SECURITY DEPOSIT IN FULL.

Dogs must be kept on a leash no longer the 6’ in length and must always remain under their owners’ control. Dogs cannot be left unattended at any time. At night, they must sleep in your vehicle, tent, or permitted lodging. We ask that you please clean up after your pets and dispose of waste in the provided trash cans. If you elect to bring your dog, it is highly recommended you have proof of their current vaccination records with you.

Lodging/Cottages/Trailers:

The kitchenettes are furnished with eating and cooking utensils. There is a dishwasher (large units only), microwave oven, electric range, fridge/freezer combo, coffee pot, blender, and toaster included in the lodges and cottages. The cottages and RV trailers are the only units with ovens.

Lodges/Cottages come stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen items, according to maximum occupancy limits. Trailers do not come stocked with ANY linens (blankets, pillows, towels, etc.) or kitchen utensils. Please bring your own. Toiletries are NOT provided in any unit.

There is no daily housekeeping service. If you need additional supplies (trash bags, replacement towels, toilet paper, etc.), please call the office at (805) 237-4924 opt 1.

BBQs are not permitted on any lodge deck. Communal BBQs and tables are located nearby to the lodging units. Ground fires or personal fire pits of any kind are PROHIBITED in the lodging area.

Tents are not allowed on the grass or dirt adjacent to the lodges, cottage, or RV trailers.

Any violation of the lodging rules will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit in full.

*** Monterey County Lodging/Trailers Security Cleaning and Damage Deposit Agreement ***

This agreement has been developed to ensure that our guests have clean and well-maintained lodging units to use. We believe you deserve the best we can provide, as do our guests who will visit the park after you leave. You are responsible for any damages done to your lodging and will be charged accordingly.

Guest check-out time is 11a.m. and guest check-in time is 3 p.m. When checking out, please lock the units and return keys to our admin office or entry gate (if admin is closed).

Since guests arrive the same day as others leave, a wide time span is needed for housekeeping to ensure the same quality for our next guests. IF you have not checked out by 11 a.m. it may be necessary for our staff to remove all personal items from your lodging unit and store them until you return. A fee of $100.00 per hour for unauthorized late check-out may be charged.
The lodging units must be left clean, apart from normal wear. Dishes must be rinsed and put in the dishwasher or sink if there is no dishwasher. All trash/garbage should be put in the cans provided. If the unit isn't left reasonably clean as described, a cleaning fee of up to $500 shall be taken out of the security deposit.

Security Deposit: One individual will be identified as the "renter" for a lodging unit. A monetary hold is placed on the "renters" credit card. This ensures that funds are available for any missing items and / or damage to the interior or exterior parts of the lodging unit. Towels, linens, and blankets damaged or excessively dirty will be charged for replacement.

Pets are not allowed/authorized in or around the lodging units, unless already designated to a "pet friendly unit" (only at Lake Nacimiento) and are not to be left unattended at any time. IF A PET IS FOUND TO BE IN A NON-PET FRIENDLY UNIT, THE ENTIRE SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED.
