LPGRV Guest Agreement
Welcome to the Lake Powell Gateway RV Resort! We are delighted to have you as our guest and want to ensure that you have a wonderful and memorable experience during your stay. Please take a moment to review our Guest Agreement Policy, which outlines the terms and conditions of your stay at our resort.
Reservation and Check-In:
- Reservation Confirmation: Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of payment and issuance of a reservation confirmation number. You will receive an email with the code to unlock the cover to the power pedestal at your RV space. If for some reason you do not receive a confirmation email and your pedestal is locked when you arrive the code is 3224 or you may contact us at 435-899-8603 or 928-660-2610.
- Check-In Time: Check-in time is 3pm. Early check-in may be accommodated based on availability.
- Check-Out Time: Check-out time is 11am. Late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability and additional charges.
- Identification: All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID and a credit card upon check-in.
Accommodation and Amenities:
- Site Assignment: RV sites may be chosen by guests at time of booking when using the website and are based on availability and reservation details. We reserve the right to change your site assignment if necessary. Walk-in reservations are first come first served and are subject to availability. Walk-ins will have their RV site assigned to them.
- Occupancy: Each RV site is designated for a maximum number of occupants. Additional guests beyond 4 adults will be subject to extra fees. The maimum number of guests allowed per site is 8.
- Utilities: Please use water, electricity, and sewer hookups responsibly. Refer to our "Sewer Usage Policy" which is included as part of this agreement. Report any issues with utilities to the front desk.
- Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are observed from 10pm to 7am. Please be considerate of your neighbors during this time. Excessive noise or disruptive behavior may result in a warning or eviction from the resort without refund.
- Swimming Pool & Spa: Guests may enjoy our swimming pool and spa during designated hours. Please review the resort "Swimming Pool & Spa Policy" and adhere to all posted rules and safety guidelines.
- Game Room: Have fun in our game room during designated hours, but please be respectful of other guests and keep noise levels to a minimum. Food and drinks are not allowed to be placed on or around the game tables for any reason. Place them on the tables provided. The consumption of alcohol is not allowed in the game room at any time. Please adhere to the "Game Room" rules posted on the wall in the room.
- C-Store: Our convenience store offers a variety of essentials, groceries and snacks. Please follow posted hours of operation.
- Public Bathrooms and Showers: Bathrooms and showers are available in the pool & spa area. There is also a public restroom in the game room. If you are arriving for your stay after 10pm, please note that these facilities will not be accessible until the following morning. Please keep these facilities clean and tidy for the comfort of all guests.
Resort Policies:
- Pet Policy: Pets are welcome at Lake Powell Gateway RV Resort. Please keep pets leashed and clean up after them. Additional pet fees may apply if our employees must clean up after your pet. Pets are not allowed in the Office Building, C-store, Game Room or the Swimming Pool & Spa area.
- Smoking Policy: Smoking is prohibited in all indoor resort facilities, the pool & spa area and within designated non-smoking zones. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly.
- Alcohol Policy: Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the Office Building, C-store, Game Room or the Swimming Pool & Spa areas. Please drink responsibly and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
- RV Site Policy: Guests are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at their respective sites. When you are done with your stay, please leave your RV site in the same condition it was in when you arrived. There are dumpsters in the dumpster enclosure and garbage cans scattered around the site. Please use them.
- RV Space Parking: Each RV space has room for parking a towing vehicle, accessory vehicle or boat, etc. If leaving the towing vehicle and/or accessory vehicle attached to the RV will result in the overall length of the RV (Rig) and/or vehicle(s) extending into the roadway guests must un-hitch their towed vehicle from the RV and park it in the available parking area within the designated RV space. If room is not available you may park the towed vehicle accross the street in the open lot.
- EV Charging: There is an available EV charging station with its own designated parking. Please feel free to use the EV charger on a first come, first served basis. The parking area is for EV vehicles only to be used during their charging cycle. When done charging, please move your EV to your designated RV space.
- Office Building Parking: Long term parking in front of or to the rear of the Office Building is prohibited. Violators may have their vehicle towed at their expense. These parking areas are for guests to use during check-in, check-out or while shopping at our convenience store.
- Traffic Plan: Guests are responsible for reviewing the site traffic plan to ensure the best approach to their RV site at arrival. Guests will adhere to all posted traffic signs during their stay. The speed limit in the resort is 10 Mph.
Safety and Security:
- For your safety and security, the entire resort is under 24hr surveillance. Please observe all posted rules and regulations. Report any suspicious activity to resort staff immediately.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially around the swimming pool and spa.
- Please secure your personal belongings and valuables. Lake Powell Gateway RV Resort is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- In case of emergency, contact resort staff immediately for assistance.
Payment and Cancellation:
- Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. Additional charges incurred during your stay must be settled upon check-out.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. Late cancellations will result in forfeiture of the full payment.
- Refunds: Refunds for cancellations or early departures are subject to the terms of our cancellation policy and management discretion.
Liability and Damages:
- Liability Waiver: Lake Powell Gateway RV Resort is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury to guests or their property during their stay. Guests use resort facilities and amenities at their own risk.
- Damages: Guests are responsible for any damages caused to resort property or facilities during their stay. Damages will be assessed and may be charged to the credit card on file.
Sewer Usage Policy
At Lake Powell Gateway RV Resort, we strive to maintain a clean, comfortable, safe and environmentally responsible resort for all our guests. To ensure the proper functioning of our sewer systems and to protect the health and safety of our guests and the surrounding area, we have established the following Sewer Usage Policy:
1. RV Sewer Connections:
- All RVs must be equipped with properly functioning and leak-proof sewer hoses and connections.
- Sewer hoses must be securely attached to the RV waste outlet and the sewer receptacle provided at each RV site.
- Guests are responsible for ensuring that their sewer connections are properly maintained with positive flow toward the sewer connection and in good working condition.
- Guests are responsible for any sewage spills from their RV during their stay and may incur additional fees as a result.
2. Gray Water and Black Water:
- Gray water (from sinks, showers, and washing machines) and black water (from toilets) must be disposed of properly.
- Gray water may be disposed of directly into the sewer system through the designated sewer receptacle at each RV site.
- Black water must be disposed of using the RV's built-in holding tank and emptied into the designated sewer receptacle at each RV site.
- We recommend letting your black water tank and grey water tank reach 2/3 full or more before emptying them. We also suggest that you empty the black water tank first and then the grey water tank second to help flush out the line.
3. Prohibited Substances:
- Do not dispose of any chemicals, solvents, oils, or other hazardous substances into the sewer system. This includes but is not limited to Ammonia, bleach, drain cleaners (excess), Epsom salts, cooking oil, fats, grease, motor oil, pesticides, photo chemicals, swimming pool chemicals or water in large quantities.
- Do not dispose of cat litter, coffee grounds, drugs, antibiotics, prescription medicines, liquor, whiskey, cigarettes, cigarette butts or filters.
- Do not dispose of clothes dryer sheets, cotton swabs, dental floss, diapers, baby-wipes, panty liners, plastic bags, sanitary napkins, tampons, trash, toys, scrap, washing machine lint or dirt.
- Do not dispose of food scraps, ground food, latex of any kind, paper towels or excessive laundry detergent.
- Only human waste and biodegradable substances such as septic safe toilet tissue, mshould be disposed of in the sewer system.
4. Odor Control:
- To minimize odors, please use appropriate holding tank treatments and deodorizers as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Keep sewer hose connections tightly sealed to prevent leaks and odors from escaping.
5. Environmental Protection:
- Help us protect the environment by preventing spills, leaks, and contamination of soil and water sources.
- In the event of a spill or leak, immediately contain the area and notify resort staff for assistance.
6. Non-Compliance:
- Guests found to be in violation of this Sewer Usage Policy may be subject to fines, penalties, or expulsion from the resort.
- Repeat offenders may be denied future access to the resort.
Reservation Policy for Lake Powell Gateway RV Resort
Reservation Procedure:
a. Reservations can be made through Campspot.com, our website (www.lpgrv.com), by phone, or in person at our resort office.
b. To secure a reservation, a valid credit card and photo identification is required. A 50% deposit payment is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due at check-in.
Reservation Confirmation:
a. Upon successful reservation, guests will receive a confirmation email or SMS containing reservation details and a confirmation number.
b. It is the responsibility of the guest to review the confirmation for accuracy. Any discrepancies must be reported immediately to our reservation team.
Reservation Modifications:
a. Changes to reservations, including date changes or site upgrades/downgrades, are subject to availability and must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date.
b. Modifications made within 48 hours of the arrival date may be subject to additional fees or restrictions.
Cancellation Policy:
a. Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive a full refund, minus a cancellation fee.
b. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the arrival date will result in forfeiture of the entire reservation amount and the deposit.
c. No-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation and will not be eligible for any refunds.
Check-In/Check-Out:
a. Check-in time is 3:00 PM MST.
b. Check-out time is 11:00 AM MST.
c. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
Occupancy:
a. Each RV site reservation includes accommodation for one RV and one vehicle.
b. The maximum occupancy per RV site is eight persons, including children. No more than 6 adults per site are allowed and any occupancy exceeding 4 person will be subject to additional fees.
Minimum Stay Requirements:
a. Some peak seasons, holidays, or special events may have minimum stay requirements. These requirements will be communicated at the time of booking.
Pet Policy:
a. Well-behaved pets are welcome at our RV resort. Pet owners must adhere to our pet policy, which includes keeping pets on a leash and cleaning up after them.
b. Additional fees may be applied to your reservation for guests traveling with pets who do not clean up after their pet.
Site Assignments:
a. While we do our best to accommodate specific site requests, site assignments are based on availability and are not guaranteed.
b. We reserve the right to change site assignments if necessary, but will make every effort to notify guests in advance.
c. When booking a reservation you may search for availability by dates and choose your specific site using our interactive site map which will show site availability based on the results of your search criteria. If you wish to lock your site location you may do so for a small fee.
Resort Rules and Regulations:
a. Guests are expected to adhere to all resort rules and regulations, including noise policies, speed limits, and waste disposal guidelines.
b. Guests must agree to the Guest Agreement and by inclusion the Sewer Usage Policy and the Pool & Spa Policy at the time of booking a reservation.
c. Failure to comply with resort rules may result in eviction without refund.
Pool & Spa Policy for Lake Powell Gateway RV Resort
Pool and Spa Hours:
- The pool and spa facilities are open from 10am to 10pm daily, weather permitting.
- Hours of operation may vary depending on maintenance schedules and seasonality.
- Guests will need to use the key card issued to them during check-in for access to the pool & spa area.
Age Restrictions:
- Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18 while using the pool & spa facilities.
- Children under the age of 5 are not permitted to use the spa.
Pool & Spa Safety:
- Lifeguards are not provided. Guests swim at their own risk. Bathers should not swim alone.
- Non-swimmers and inexperienced swimmers should wear appropriate flotation devices and be supervised by a competent adult swimmer at all times.
- Running, diving, boisterous play or rough play, except supervised water sports, are strictly prohibited in and around the pool area.
- Glass containers are not allowed in the pool area for safety reasons.
Pool & Spa (Hot Tub) Usage:
- Guests are advised to limit spa usage to 15-20 minutes at a time to prevent overheating and dehydration.
- Individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure, or other medical concerns should consult a physician before using the spa.
- Children under the age of 5 are not permitted in the spa for health and safety reasons.
- Individuals under the influence of alcohol or other impairing chemical substances should not use the spa or pool.
- Pregnant women should not use the spa without consulting their physicians.
Health and Hygiene:
- Guests are strongly encouraged to take a cleansing shower before entering the pool or spa to remove oils, lotions, and other contaminants.
- Guests are encouraged to use the restroom facilities before entering the pool or spa.
- Any child 5 and under using the bathroom facilities must be accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately we have had to many instances where un-supervised young children have left the restrooms in a very unsanitary condition. (that comment is being polite) This is disrespectful of other guests and creates a lot of extra work for our staff to clean and sanitize the facility.
- A person having any exposed sub-epidermal tissue, including open blisters, cuts or other lesions are not permitted to use the pool or spa facilities.
- Any person having a communicable disease transmittable by water may not use the pool or spa facilities.
- A person who has or has had diarrhea within the last two weeks caused by an unknown source or from any communicable fecal-borne disease may not enter the pool or spa.
- Any child under the age of three years old, any child not toilet trained and anyone who lacks control of defecation shall wear a water resistant swim diaper and water proof swimwear. These item will be available to purchase in the C-store for those who need them.
- Proper swim attire is required. Street clothes, including jeans and cotton shirts, are not allowed in the pool or spa.
- Diapers shall be changed in restrooms not at pool side.
- A person or persons who change a diaper must wash their hands thoroughly with soap before returning to the pool.
Food and Beverage:
- Outside food and beverages are allowed in the pool or spa area at the provided tables only. No food or drink is allowed in or around the pool or spa.
- No glass containers of any kind are allowed in the pool & spa area.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the pool and spa facilities.
- Smoking is not allowed in the pool & spa area.
- Please place trash in the provided trash can and clean-up behind yourself and your children.
Noise and Behavior:
- Guests are expected to maintain a respectful noise level and behavior while using the pool & spa facilities.
- Radios, speakers, and other electronic devices must be used with headphones or kept at a volume that does not disturb other guests.
Pool & Spa Closure:
- The pool and spa facilities may be closed temporarily for maintenance, cleaning, or inclement weather.
- Guests will be notified of any planned closures in advance whenever possible.
Security Policy for RV Resort and Convenience Store
Purpose
To ensure the protection of cardholder data and maintain compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and third-party service providers who handle, process, or transmit cardholder data.
Policy
- Build and Maintain a Secure Network and Systems
- Install and maintain a firewall configuration to protect cardholder data.
- Do not use vendor-supplied defaults for system passwords and other security parameters.
- Do Not Store Cardholder Data
- Cardholder data will not be stored in any form, either physically or electronically.
- Use secure payment gateways to ensure that all transactions are processed without storing cardholder data.
- Encrypt Transmission of Cardholder Data
- Encrypt transmission of cardholder data across open, public networks to protect it from unauthorized access.
- Maintain a Vulnerability Management Program
- Use and regularly update anti-virus software.
- Develop and maintain secure systems and applications.
- Implement Strong Access Control Measures
- Restrict access to cardholder data by business need-to-know.
- Assign a unique ID to each person with computer access.
- Restrict physical access to cardholder data processing systems.
- Regularly Monitor and Test Networks
- Track and monitor all access to network resources and cardholder data.
- Regularly test security systems and processes.
- Maintain an Information Security Policy
- Maintain a policy that addresses information security for all personnel.
- Ensure that all employees are aware of the policy and understand their responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Management: Ensure compliance with this policy and provide resources for its implementation.
- Employees: Follow the security procedures outlined in this policy and report any security incidents immediately.
- Third-Party Service Providers: Ensure that they are also PCI DSS compliant and adhere to the security requirements.
Review and Update
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in technology, business operations, and regulatory requirements.
By making a reservation at Lake Powell Gateway RV Resort, guests acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy policy. Management reserves the right to amend any resort policy at any time without prior notice.
