Cancellation and Deposit Policy

1. Cancellations
Due to our small size and remote location, cancellations significantly impact us. To ensure fairness and efficiency, we enforce the following cancellation policy:

• Cancellations Made More Than 14 Days Before Arrival:
  Guests can choose between:
  • Receiving a refund of their deposit minus a $20 handling fee.
  • Applying the full deposit amount towards a future stay within the next year.
• Cancellations Made 14 Days or Less Before Arrival:
  • No refund is possible, regardless of the reason, unless we are able to rent the room or campsite for the original booking dates.
• Early Departures:
  Guests departing earlier than their confirmed reservation dates will remain responsible for all originally booked nights.

2. Deposits
To confirm reservations, deposits are required as follows:

• Stays of 1 to 6 Nights:
  • A deposit equal to 1 night’s stay is required at the time of booking.
• Stays of 1 Week or More:
  • Motel room: A $300 deposit is required.
  • Campsite: A $200 deposit is required.

*Taxes are not included in the deposit amount.

3. General Terms

• A reservation is a firm contract. No allowances will be made for late arrivals or early departures.
• Cancellation fees are applicable as outlined above, and refunds or credits are issued in accordance with these policies.
