LAND O’LAKES NATURE RV RESORT Rules and Policies

Tenants and Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves and/or pets.
Tenant assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Landlord harmless from and indemnify Landlord against the same.
The resort is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle.
RV’s are the responsibility of the site renter
Occupants must be at least 25 years old
Quiet time 10:00 pm – 8:00 am
Maximum of 2 vehicles per site
Maximum of 2 pets per site
All pets must be kept on a leash and owners must clean up after them. Do not leave pets unattended outside at your site. No excessive barking or disturbance. No aggressive pets.
Walking or biking through sites is not allowed. Stay on trails.
No motorized vehicles on resort trails or anywhere else in the resort, unless driving directly from your site to Razorback Road.
All Motorhomes, RVs or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance.
We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.
Tents or pop up truck campers are not permitted
All visitors must be registered at the office and depart no later than 10:00 pm.
Campfires allowed only in designated fire rings. Do not leave fires unattended and fully extinguish all fires before leaving.
To prevent the spread of disease and parasites, compliance with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources regulations on firewood is required. No firewood from outside a 10-mile radius is allowed, unless it is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP).
Do not move fire rings or take picnic tables from other sites.
No feeding the wildlife
No fireworks
Do not hang anything or nail anything to trees
No cutting trees
Unruly behavior is prohibited
Breaking rules is cause for eviction without refund

Late Check-Out Policy: The office may be able to arrange a late checkout, if available. Additional fees may apply. In order to ensure availability for incoming guests, please plan prompt departures.

LAND O’LAKES NATURE RV RESORT, LLC - RECREATIONAL PARTICIPANT RELEASE

Please sign below to acknowledge that I have voluntarily decided to participate in the various activities that are offered on the site operated by Land O’Lakes Nature RV Resort, LLC, including but not limited to swimming, hiking, biking, use of non-motorized boats, climbing observation towers and any other outdoor activities to which I and/or my family and/or my guests may avail myself while on the subject premises.

I understand that the activities described in the foregoing paragraph have hazards and exposures connected with those activities in the outdoors and involve certain real and unpredictable risks. I am cognizant of the risks and dangers inherent with the activities in which I and/or my family and/or my guests will be participating, and acknowledge that I/we are fully capable of participating in the activities contracted for. I willingly assume the risk of injury as my responsibility, including loss of control, collisions with other participants, trees, rocks, and other man-made or natural obstacles, whether they are obvious or not obvious.

I agree that any bodily injury, death or loss of personal property and expenses as a result of my negligence or the negligence of my family or my guests participating in any scheduled or unscheduled activities are my responsibility. I also acknowledge that the activities associated and described in paragraph 1 involve risks including hypothermia (rapid and medically serious loss of body temperature), falling while aboard a vessel or on the shore, and a possible attack by wild animals.

I understand that accidents or illness can occur in remote places without medical facilities, and may be aggravated by exposure to temperature extremes or inclement weather. In consideration of and as a part payment for the right to participate in the activities mentioned in paragraph 1, and any other activities including the services of food that may be arranged for me or my family or my guests by the owners or employees of Land O’Lakes Nature RV Resort, LLC and its agents and associations, I agree that I and my family and/or guests are in good health with no physical defects that might be injurious to us, and that I and my family and/or guests are able to handle the hazards of traffic, weather conditions, walking, climbing, and all and any similar conditions associated with the activities scheduled or associated with the activities mentioned in paragraph 1.

As lawful consideration for being permitted to participate in the activities scheduled and associated with the outdoors, I RELEASE FROM ANY LEGAL LIABILITY AND AGREE NOT TO SUE, CLAIM AGAINST THE PROPERTY OF, OR PROSECUTE, AND TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS, Land O’Lakes Nature RV Resort, LLC, their officers, members, organization, agents, employees and volunteers for any and all injury or death caused by or resulting from my voluntary participation in the activities mentioned in paragraph 1, WHETHER OR NOT SUCH INJURY OR DEATH WAS CAUSED BY THEIR NEGLIGENCE OR ANY OTHER CAUSE.

This contract shall be legally binding upon me, my heirs, my estate, assigns, legal guardians and my personal representatives.

I have carefully read this agreement and fully understand its contents, I am aware that I am releasing legal rights that I otherwise may have and I enter into this contract on behalf of myself, my family and my guests of my own free will, and with full comprehension and awareness of the risks involved.

THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABLITY. DO NOT SIGN THE RELEASE IF YOU HAVE NOT READ IT COMPLETELY OR DO NOT UNDERSTAND OR DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY OF ITS TERMS.
