CAMPGROUND RULES AND INFORMATION

The rules at Lawrence Creek Campground are simple: be courteous to each other. Our goal is to be a family friendly campground where everyone can relax and enjoy themselves. We have rules to ensure it is a nice, clean place that everyone can enjoy. We know some campers are here for peace and quiet and others enjoy company and parties. We ask that you be considerate of others in the campground.

Office hours: 9 am – 4 pm

Quiet hours:

Weekdays: 9 pm – 8 am

Weekends and holidays: 12 am – 8 am

Laundry Facility:

Open 24/7

Entrance is by code only. Please turn off light and ensure door is locked when you leave - Code is: 2120 enter

Bathhouse:

Open 24/7

Entrance is by code only. Please turn off lights and ensure door is locked when you leave - Code for Men's and Women's room is: 5224#

Please be considerate of other campers and attempt to keep the facilities clean. Report any issues to management promptly by calling 606-584-7805

Campsites:

You MUST use a pressure regulator on your water hose. Our water pressure is high

Campers must be properly blocked with no leaning jacks or blocks as these are a hazard

Scissor jacks should be spread no more than 6 inches

Campers are expected to keep their campsites clean and orderly

Loud music, rowdiness or other noise shall be controlled in the camping area only

Respect the privacy of other campers and do not walk through campsites

Disorderly conduct, abusive language, racial slurs, or being inconsiderate to others WILL NOT be tolerated

We encourage recycling, but currently do not have a way for it to be collected. Please take recycling to a recycling center or back home with you

We can have woodland creatures come to visit so trash is to be kept in a trash can with a lid; bags are to be tied and placed in the dumpster and NOT in public space trash cans

Washing of RVs/Campers at the site is allowed 1x/year in the Spring for long-term campers only

Cars may not be washed at the campsites at any time

Surface dumping of waste tanks is prohibited and incurs a $150 charge for the first offense; a second offense is reason for expulsion from the campground

There will be a charge of $500 to replace hit or damaged electric boxes

Equipment owned by the campground is not to be borrowed without permission

Guests must always be accompanied by a camper; there is no sub-leasing of campsites

All site improvements must be approved by campground management

We are on a creek and there may be flooding. In the case of flooding, campers are responsible for moving their own campers to higher ground

No gas jugs/gas cans can be stored under your camper

Children:

Parents are responsible for the conduct, behavior, and safety of their own children

Children are not allowed on the docks without supervision

Children under 12 should not drive ATVs or golf carts without supervision

Pets

Must remain on leash and not run loose, cause disturbances or inconvenience to other campers; cats included

Dogs that are known to bite or be aggressive, no matter the breed, are not to be brought to the campground

Pick up your pet’s poop and discard it in appropriate receptacle 

Pavilions:

Are available to campers and can be reserved for a fee with a cleaning deposit

You are responsible for cleaning up after use and moving furniture back to original position

Quiet hours apply

Vehicles:

Maximum of 2 vehicles per site are included in campsite fee

One can be parked at the site, the other must be parked in the designated area

Speed: 5 mph in the campground, stay on the road as much as possible, please be courteous of your neighbors and watch for children and pets

No dirt bikes or go-carts allowed

ATVs and Golf Carts:

ATVs and golf-carts can be ridden 9 am to 10 pm by campers and guests of campers only. You must sign a liability release form before riding.Unsafe driving will not be tolerated and will result in revocation of privileges

No children under 16 may drive anything after dark since trails are unlit and there are drop-offs, creeks that pose a hazard to untrained drivers

Children are to be with an adult on golf carts

No children may ride double unless the ATV is equipped with 2 seats

ATVs and golf carts must be parked neatly within your camping area or designated parking area

Alcohol, firearms and fireworks:

Per KY law, all alcoholic beverages are to be kept at the campsites or within the bar area

Use of firearms and fireworks are prohibited in the campground

No illegal activity is allowed (Law enforcement will be called)

General:

A late fee of $25 will be assessed for all monthly guests making payment more than 3 days after the due date

Please respect our neighbors by remaining on campground property not entering any areas that marked "no trespassing"

All facilities are used at your own risk. Parents are responsible for the conduct, behavior, and safety of their own children.

Campground and/or management absolve themselves from all liability or responsibility to campers and guests for loss by flood, fire, accident, theft, acts of nature or other causes

Diving is not permitted off the campground dock

No fishing off the dock

There are active train tracks that cross the property. Keep clear of these at all times and cross under the tracks at the designated area under the train trestle only

Sex offenders are not allowed in the campground at any time

We reserve the right to eject campers who violate state or federal laws and/or campground rules - no refunds will be given
