Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, Bliss, New York
Family, Friends and Guests - Tent/RV and Cabin Camping
Family - Persons per site (RV & Tent sites) allowed are 4 people in the same family whether it be adults or children.
Persons per site (Cabins) allowed are 6 people in the same family whether it be adults or children.
Friends - If you are booking a site and wish to have friends join you the limitation is 4 people total and they must be staying in your camper or tent. Where there are two couples who are friends and would like to share a site but camp in a separate tent, they are subject to a $15 per night, per person on an overnight pass and are required to register at the front desk.
Guests - If just visiting for the day then a $10 day pass is required to be obtained at the office. Family guests where there are two campers in a site are allowed at 2 family guests per day and they must register at the front desk. Vehicle tags are required for all guests/visitors. A guest pass is good from park opening hours till 10pm on the same day.
Tents - Tents on sites are limited. 2 tents on a tent site and 1 on an RV site. No exceptions without management approval
OUR CAMPING SEASON: MAY 15 THROUGH OCTOBER 31
All persons entering the property must register and occupy their site by 8 pm on the first night of their reservation or the site will be subject to re-rental reservation/fees will be forfeited. Check-In Time: 3:00 PM / Check-Out Time: Noon. Check-In Time Cabins: 3:00 PM/Check-Out Time Cabins: 11:00 AM. Early Check-in or Late Check-out can be purchased @ $5 per hour as needed and is subject to availability. Guests are required to confirm availability. Guests needing to stay past 3:00pm the day of check-out will be subject to an additional nightly rate. Guests wishing to extend a reservation are required to contact the park office at least 2 hours prior to check-out as availability for the guest site is not guaranteed. Minimum Check-in Age: 21 Years Old. Guests 17 years of age and under at the time of check-in are considered children. Day Passes are available at the Main Office for visitors staying in excess of 30 minutes.
Speed Limit
Campground Speed Limit: 5 MPH. Please drive Slowly and Watch for Children
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm to 8 am Friday-Saturday
Children Policy
Children under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult after 10 p.m. Children and pets should not be left unattended anywhere on the property.
Vehicles
Combustion Engine Motorized Vehicles: Dirt Bikes, mini bikes, and ATVs are not allowed inside the campground. Battery Operated Vehicles: Hoverboards, skateboards, scooters, or similar motorized vehicles are subject to the 5 MPH speed limit. Golf Carts: Only electric golf carts are allowed in the campground with the purchase of a permit from Park Management. Golf carts should be properly insured, and all drivers must be licensed/a minimum of 16 years of age. The number of passengers must not exceed the number of seats on the cart. The speed limit for electric golf carts is 5 MPH. Safety First: Bike helmets are strongly recommended and required by State Law for anyone under 14 years of age who rides a bicycle, or rides a battery-operated vehicle. The safety of all guests is a LVCR priority. Have fun, but think about safety first.
Drones
Drones are not allowed to be flown on the property. We have nesting BALD EAGLES and any flight of these devices may cause the Male or Female to attack the drones seeing them as a threat. The possibility of injury to the birds may result in possible death. If one of the birds is fatally injured leaving just one of the birds to attend the nest it then would result in abandonment of the nest. This in turn would be fatal to the chicks survival. (Fines will apply)
Fireworks (ALL) are not allowed to be used on the property as they can be hazardous to the surrounding environment especially during dry climate times and we have nesting BALD EAGLES and fireworks may alarm the eagles and result in possible injury or death. Parking
Parking: Please park all vehicles in your designated parking spot only
Fires and Firewood
Firewood: State law prohibits out-of-state firewood. Only local firewood may be brought into the park and must not be more than 50 miles from the place of origin per NYS law. Anyone bringing in firewood to the park will be required to fill out a Self-Issued Certificate of Origin for Transport and Possession of Untreated Firewood. These certificates are submitted to Department of Environmental Conservation on your behalf. This is to protect our forests from invasive species. Dry firewood is available for purchase in the park at competitive pricing. So if you are unsure of the quality of firewood you are transporting, we advise you not to expose our park forest to possible infestation. Thank you!
Pet Policy
Pets: We are a pet-friendly campground (maximum two pets please). A current vaccination certificate is required at check-in. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Owners must clean up after their pets. Any pet owner who does not clean up after their pet will be subject to a waste removal fee of $50. Please be a responsible pet owner and clean up. Pets are not allowed in any of our cabins becauses of allergens that could affect the next guest. Anyone who has been found to have brought a dog into a cabin will be charged a $75 cleaning fee. Thank you!
Trash
Trash: Please bag and dispose of trash in the receptacles provided. We have a large dumpster located on your map. Gray/Black Water Disposal: New York State Law strictly prohibits the dumping of gray or black water on the ground or in any body of water. Located on the property are 55 gallon trash barrels that can be used for bagged trash only. Do not put trash in these barrels without a it being put into your bag first please.
Cabins, Bathhouse and Lodge rooms
Smoking is not allowed in any of the building structures. This includes vaping, cigarettes, pipes, cigars and marijuana. Any guest who violates this policy will be charged an aeration and disinfectant fee of $275
General Policies
Please do not drive through empty campsites as a shortcut and remind children no walking through occupied campsites. No washing or major repair work on RVs or vehicles is allowed in the park Please do not burn plastic, Styrofoam, rubber products, or trash of any kind in firepits or elsewhere in the park. No firearms of any kind are allowed on the property! Fires are to be confined to firepits only. Flames should not exceed three feet and fires should not be left unattended. No chainsaws allowed Please do not cut any trees, limbs, or brush, peel bark from trees, or carve on trees or picnic tables. Failure to comply will result in a $50 fine and eviction from the park. Restrooms and showers are open 24 hours except during cleaning. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. The septic system accepts toilet tissue only. Place all other items in the receptacles provided. Bathing of people/pets in utility sinks is not allowed. Washing of clothes is allowed in coin-operated machines only. For Sale Signs-Check with Campground Management prior to placing any such signage. Temporary clotheslines may be used along the back of the campsite and remain a minimum of six feet off the ground. Call the Main Office if a fire ring needs to be emptied. Do not place ashes elsewhere on the site or in the woods.
Rental Equipment Agreement, Waiver and Release of Liability Kayaks, Canoes, Paddleboards and Related Watersports and Camping Equipment Boat (Kayak/SUP) and Equipment Rental Agreement between Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC, herein called, “Lessor,” and the undersigned, herein called, “Renter.” This agreement also constitutes a Waiver and Release of Liability, whereby the Renter agrees to release, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Lessor and its owners, agents, officers and employees from any and all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of Renter’s use of Kayaking, Canoe or Paddleboarding Equipment, premises or facilities or Renter’s participation in kayaking, canoeing or paddle sports activities. By signing this document, Renter acknowledges he/she specifically understands he/she (Renter) is releasing, discharging and waiving any claims or actions that I may have at the present time, or in the future, for the negligent acts, omissions or other conduct by the owners, agents, officers or employees of Lessor. Please initial each item and sign below to acknowledge acceptance of this agreement.
Renter shall obey all state, federal and local Boating Regulations, laws, ordinances and lawful directives from appropriate emergency or law enforcement personnel, while operating or renting boats or equipment from Lessor. Renter is solely responsible for any citation or violation occurring during the use of, or as the result of using, rental boats or equipment from Lessor.Renter represents that he/she is capable of safely operating and handling the Equipment and finds it in good working order, condition and repair. Renter represents that he/she has adequate skills, knowledge and experience to safely complete the planned activity and that adequate preparations have been made to ensure safe completion of trip.Renter shall bear all risk and responsibility of and for any and all damage, loss or theft of the rental boats and/or Equipment, or any portions thereof, including, but not limited to vandalism or theft, and shall pay the Lessor the full cost of repair or replacement.Renter shall return boats and equipment in the condition in which it was received. Minimum charges for repairs, labor and cleaning will be applied in the event rental boats or equipment require repair or excessive cleaning. Renter agrees to use all equipment for its designed purpose only.RECOGNITION OF RISK: Renter expressly acknowledges that kayaking, canoeing and Paddleboarding are activities with inherent risks of injury to persons and property. RENTER IS AWARE OF THOSE RISKS AND UNDERSTANDS THEM. Renter acknowledges that PFD’s (Lifejackets) are made available and that ALL RENTERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR PFD’s/LIFEJACKETS WHILE USING RENTAL BOATS AND EQUIPMENT. Renter understands that use of a PFD does not remove all risks of injury; nor does PFD use make Kayaking, Canoeing or Paddleboarding safe activities. Renter alone has determined the sufficiency of any safety gear or other precautions that Renter decides to take to minimize the risks of the activity. No party related to Lessor, including Owner and Employees, has made any representations regarding the safety of, or the risks of, the activity. RENTER EXPRESSLY ASSUMES THE RISKS OF THE ACTIVITY.RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Renter hereby RELEASES Lessor, its owners and its employees from liability for negligence and HOLDS HARMLESS the Lessor, its owner and its employees from any loss, expense or cost, including attorney fees, arising out of any damages or injuries, whether to persons or property, occurring as a result of the rental or use of said boat and/or Equipment.This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Lessor and Renter and no term may be waived or modified(including provision against oral modification) except in writing signed by both parties. There are no warranties, expressed or implied, by Lessor to Renter, except as contained herein, and Lessor shall not be liable for any loss or injury to Renter nor to anyone else, of any kind or however caused. This agreement is one of bailment only and Renter is not Lessor’s agent while using said boat(s) or Equipment. The laws of the State of New York shall govern this agreement.
NON COMPLIANCE WITH THE ABOVE AGREEMENT MAY RESULT IN CHARGES FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY READ CAREFULLY - THIS AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
In exchange for participation in the activity of all campground activities including but not limited to hiking, canoeing, fishing, games, playground play, water slide, swimming, whether or not organized by Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC, of 7037 Albro Road, Bliss, New York, 14024 and/or use of the property, facilities and services of Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC, I as a condition of my reservation or otherwise to stay at Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, agree for myself and for the members of my family, and guests with me to the following:
1. AGREEMENT TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings, and further agree to follow any oral instructions or directions given by Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC, or the employees, representatives or agents of Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC.
2. ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS AND RELEASE. I recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with the above described activity and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself and (if applicable) my family members, and further release and discharge Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC for injury, loss or damage arising out of my or my family's use of or presence upon the facilities of Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC, whether caused by the fault of myself, my family, Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC or other third parties.
3. INDEMNIFICATION. I agree to indemnify and defend Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs or expenses, including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may in any way arise from my or my family's use of or presence upon the facilities of Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC.
4. FEES. I agree to pay for all damages to the facilities of Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC caused by any negligent, reckless, or willful actions by me or my family.
5. APPLICABLE LAW. Any legal or equitable claim that may arise from participation in the above shall be resolved under New York law.
6. NO DURESS. I agree and acknowledge that I am under no pressure or duress to sign this Agreement and that I have been given a reasonable opportunity to review it before signing. I further agree and acknowledge that I am free to have my own legal counsel review this Agreement if I so desire. I further agree and acknowledge that Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC has offered to refund any fees I have paid to use its facilities if I choose not to sign this Agreement.
7. ARM'S LENGTH AGREEMENT. This Agreement and each of its terms are the product of an arm's length negotiation between the Parties. In the event any ambiguity is found to exist in the interpretation of this Agreement, or any of its provisions, the Parties, and each of them, explicitly reject the application of any legal or equitable rule of interpretation which would lead to a construction either "for" or "against" a particular party based upon their status as the drafter of a specific term, language, or provision giving rise to such ambiguity.
8. ENFORCEABILITY. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Agreement, whether standing alone or as applied to a particular occurrence or circumstance, shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement or of any other applications of such provision, as the case may be, and such invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed not to be a part of this Agreement.
9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION. The parties will attempt to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement through friendly negotiations amongst the parties. If the matter is not resolved by negotiation, the parties will resolve the dispute using the below Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedure.
10. CANCELLATION POLICY. (Please Review Carefully)
Payment in full is due at the time of reservation. We do not give credit or refunds due to weather. When a refund is applicable, a cash refund-less a campground $25 administrative fee plus platform and credit card processing fees will not be issued on any reservation. Processing of a refund can take up to 7-10 days before you receive it back to your account.
Refunds are as follows: Campsite Refunds
- 14 days prior to arrival date - 100% Refund minus $25 administrative fee
- 7 days prior to arrival date - 50% Refund minus a $25 administration fee
- 6 days prior to arrival date - non-refundable
- 21 days prior to arrival date for holidays 100% refund minus $25 administrative fee
- 14 days prior to arrival date for holidays 50% refund minus $25 adminsitrative fee
- 13 days prior to arrival date - non-refundable holidays
- Any reservation that has 10 or more sites reserved (i.e.group) Before 30 days - 100% Refund minus 10% of the total reservation
- I understand that if I or anyone in my party decides to leave the park for any reason whether upon arrival or prior to completion of my reservation, it is considered a receipt of services in full and no refunds or chargebacks shall apply. No refunds due to discomforts of nature, weather, illness, work schedules, early departures or other events beyond the campground's control.
Rental Unit Refunds
- 14 day-notice prior to arrival date - 100% Refund minus $40 administrative fee
- 7 days prior to arrival date - 50% Refund minus a $40 administratioeen fee
- 21 days prior to arrival date for holidays - 100% Refund minus $40 administrative fee
- 14 days prior to arrival date for holidays - 50% Refund minus a $40 administration fee
- 13 days prior to arrival date - non-refundable holidays
Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC – Credit Card Policy
1. Payment & Authorization
By completing a transaction with Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC (“Company”), you authorize the full amount of your purchase to be charged to your credit card. You agree that all charges are valid and non-refundable except as outlined in our Cancellation Policy.
2. No Refunds / All Sales Final
All reservations, rentals, and purchases are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our Cancellation Policy. Chargebacks based on non-usage, dissatisfaction, or failure to review our policies will be rejected.
3. Chargeback Liability & Fees
If a chargeback is filed and later reversed in favor of Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC, the customer agrees to reimburse any associated fees and costs incurred due to the dispute. Future reservations may also be denied at our discretion.
4. Agreement to Terms
By booking a reservation, renting equipment, or purchasing goods/services from Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC, you acknowledge and accept our Terms & Conditions, including our policies on refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks.
5. Fraud Prevention & Verification
For security purposes, we may request additional verification before processing a transaction. Failure to provide requested verification may result in order cancellation. Suspicious or fraudulent transactions will be reported to the authorities.
6. Dispute Resolution
Customers agree to contact Letchworth Valley Campground & Resort, LLC directly at [insert contact email/phone] to resolve any disputes before initiating a chargeback. Failure to do so may impact future booking privileges.
7. Proof of Service & Delivery
- Campsites, Cabins, & Rentals: A confirmed booking and check-in verification constitute service fulfillment.
- Event Venue Rentals: Signed contracts and confirmed event dates serve as proof of service.
- Merchandise Sales: Any physical goods purchased on-site are final sale, with no refunds once received.
Any controversies or disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement will be submitted to mediation in accordance with any statutory rules of mediation. If mediation is not successful in resolving the entire dispute or is unavailable, any outstanding issues will be submitted to final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's award will be final, and judgment may be entered upon it by any court having proper jurisdiction.
I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT AND UNDERSTAND ALL OF THE ABOVE. I AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS STATED. I FURTHER UNDERSTAND THAT BY MY AGREEMENT TO THIS RELEASE, I VOLUNTARILY SURRENDER CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS.
