Cancellation Policy:  please note if you are booking less than 15 days out, these cancellation policies apply

• 15 or more days notice: Full refund of money minus $30 fee.
• 8-14 days notice: Full campground credit to reschedule during this season, minus $30 rescheduling fee.  Can be used anytime including holidays, pricing may increase for future dates.  
• 0-7 days notice: No refund, no credit, no rescheduling.
• No credit or refund for any holiday weeks: Memorial week, 4th July week, Labor day week or Columbus week.

Check in / Check out:

• Check in starts at 2pm. Early check in at noon if available on advance purchase only, not day of.                                                                   *To avoid unwanted waiting, please do not arrive before your scheduled check in.  
• Check in hours are Sunday and Wednesday 2-7pm.  Thursday-Saturday 2pm-8pm.  We are a family run campground and cannot accomodate later check in hours, please call us if you have questions at 570-386-2911.
• Check out time is Noon.  Late check out if available for 2pm or Stay n Play till 5pm with advance purchase - not day of departure. Text us the day before your check out to see what is available please. 

Pets: Maximum of 2 pets per site.

• We require a copy of valid vaccine records for Rabies and Distemper BEFORE checking in.  Email these to camping@lizardcreekpa.com so we can upload them and save time at check in.
• Due to restrictions imposed by our insurance company, the following breeds are not permitted: Any Shepherd, Rottweiler, Pit Bull, Doberman or Bull Mastiff. (Sorry, we love dogs, and have 4 labs of our own, but we have to comply to remain open).
• Remember to Clean up after your pets, everyone appreciates it! Poop bags are available in the dog area near site 82.

Site Includes:

• 4 people and 1 vehicle per site.
• Additonal overnight guests can be added up to 6 max per site for an additonal fee per night, or another site can be rented.
• Additional vehicles can be added and will be assigned a spot in our parking lot for a fee.
• No addtional sleeping tents on any RV site. We have tent sites you can reserve. 1 EZ-up tent is welcome, regular size, no party tents or double tents please.
• Tent sites are allowed up to 2 sleeping tents per site.

Visitors expected?  No problem, we welcome friends and familytime! All visitors must register in our store office during open hours and can stay until 9pm and utilize our amenities! There is a fee and valid Government issued ID is required for all visitors.

Group Policy:  To maintain the peaceful atmosphere of our small, quiet campground, the Maximum people gathering together on any site at anytime is 12.  Groups more than 3 sites or 12 people must be booked directly through the campground office.   570-386-2911.  If your group exceeds these limits and you did not contact us in advance, your reservation may be subject to cancellation without notice or refund.   Contact us about Pavilion rental, as an option.

 

CAMPGROUND RULES:

• Trash: Do not leave out over night, critters will find it!  Dispose of trash in the dumpster at the end of the parking lot, always opened.
• SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH.  We encourage you to roam the campground and enjoy the outdoors, help keep everyone safe!
• Speaking of roaming the campground, please do NOT cut through sites.  We have walkways from the store to the creek, no bikes or golf carts on walking paths.  
• Quiet time is from 10pm until 8am.  We believe your enjoyment should not affect the enjoyment of others around you. Sleeping is a great thing about vacation!
• No motorized bikes, golf carts or scooters permitted. (golf carts are available for rent to adults  18+ with valid drivers license).
• Pets are part of the family!  We have a small dog park for them to run un-leashed and have fun with your continuous supervision.  No dog can be left alone.  Please clean up all messes, if you forgot a bag, we got you, look near the dog park entrance.  Please do not leave your pets in your camper unattended for the day.  If they tend to bark when left alone, you will need to arrange to take them with you, so other guests are not disturbed. Pets are not allowed in the pool area.
• No carry in firewood.  For your convenience we sell and deliver firewood to your site.  No fire permitted unless you have purchased at our camp store, $20 fine for burning without purchase.
• NO FIREARMS OR FIREWORKS PERMITTED ON PREMISES.
• NO SMOKING IN COMMON AREAS, please be courteous and keep to your site and dispose of butts.
• NO ALCOHOL or glass containers in public areas, only at your site, we are a famlly campground.  
• Lizard Creek:  Enter at your own risk, footwear is required, sharp objects or rocks are a risk. 
• Fishing is permitted and PA requires a fishing license for everyone 16 and over.  
• Wifi:  Signal is difficult on the mountain, so we have wi-fi installed throughout our campground.  Each site comes with 2 free device  passes for your entire stay.  Additional passes can be purchased if needed.
• Check your politics at the door please.  Camping is a place to relax even our opinions.  Political signs of any kind are not permitted, 
• Drunkenness, rowdiness and aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
• Campers are responsible for their visitors' conduct
• Help us maintain our septic system and do not put anything other than human waste and toilet paper into the toilet; no handy wipes, tampons, cigarette butts, etc.
• Children:  Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult at all times • Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult at the pool • Swim diapers are required in the pool for non-toilet trained children • Swim diapers are strongly discouraged in main pool (accidents necessitate pool closure) • Please make sure your children know where the walkways are and that they do not cut through people’s sites especially to access the creek. All children should be on your site by 10pm for quiet hours.
• POOL:  No lifeguard on duty it is swim at your own risk.  Open May 15- Sept 7, 2025. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.  No alcohol or glass beverages in the pool or any common area. Swim diapers are required for non-toilet trained children. (fecal contamination will cause closure of the pool for many hours).  No diving, No swearing, just a good time in the sun with friends and family!

I, the person reserving this site and signing this document, acknowledge that I have been invited as a guest to enjoy the facilities know as Lizard Creek Campground (hereinafter "LCC").  I acknowledge thate there is an inherent risk of serious injury and even death that arise from camping and/or participating in activities on the campground including without limitation, risk of injury or death from using the swimming pool which is NOT staffed with lifeguards, is swim at your own risk.  I am aware that natural occurrences (such as lightning, high winds, rainstorms and flash floods) and wildlife (such as bears, snakes, raccoons and yellow jackets) can be unpredictable and dangerous, and that consuming animals, vegetation, water and other substances found on or around the Premises can be harmful.  I understand the risks in camping, hiking, creek walking and participating in activities or in the pool, for myself, the minors under my care and my guests or other family members that are accompanying me at LCC agree to assume the full risk of any injuries including death, damages or loss, regardless of severity which I or we may sustain at LCC. I further agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless and defend, including without limitation Lizard Creek Campground, Familytime campground at Lizard Creek LLC. (manages campground), Familytime campground LLC. (owns property), it's staff, vendors, volunteers, as well as the owner of the facility, buildings, and premises, from and against any and all liabilities.  

I certify I am the parent, legal guardian, supervisor, or responsible person of the minors that accompany me and assume all risks and responsibilities for the safey and well being of all minors that accompany me.  I am entering into this Liability Waiver and Indemnity on behalf of such minors.

I have read the Campground terms and conditions and agree to abide by them and follow any instructions or guidelines that the LCC staff may provide orally or in writing.  I understand that LCC does not tolerate excessive noise, drunkenness, rowdiness, threats or violence of any kind or harassing or disturbing other campers, staff, owner, vendors or volunteers.

I agree that if, in the opinion of the staff, I am engaged in any of this behavior, or anyone with me, all associated persons will be required to leave the campground immediately without a refund.

All sites are presumed free of damage or serious issues upon arrival.  If this is not the case, I must notify staff within 1 hour of my arrival.  Sites with significant damage or cleanliness issues upon departure will be subject to a service fee of $50.00 or actual damages, whichever is greater.

This Liability Waiver and Indemnity is binding on me, my heirs, agents, or others acting on my behalf.  My estate or I will reimburse the owner, for any and all costs and attorneys' fees in defending any lawsuits or claims filed by me or on my behalf.
