Welcome to our campground! Please review and abide by our terms and conditions for a safe and enjoyable stay. Your cooperation helps maintain the natural beauty of our surroundings. Thank you for choosing us for your outdoor adventure!
Check-In and Out
- Self-check-in after 3:00 PM
- Self-check-out is 11:00 AM.
- Early check-in is not available. Late check-in is allowed at any time. Head directly to your site.
Quiet Hours
- Please be considerate of others. Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. All minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult after 11:00 PM.
- Please respect others, no loud music at any time.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
- 4 days or more cancellation prior to arrival: Full refund minus booking fee.
- 3 days or less cancellation prior to arrival: If reservation is less than or equal to 3 nights, 50% of stay will be refunded. If greater than 3 nights, there is a 50% fee for the first 3 nights, and then a full refund for the remaining stay greater than 3 nights.
- No refund will be given to No Shows, or Evicted Guests.
- Louie Lake Campground regrets to inform guests that full refunds for reservations will not be provided in the event of circumstances deemed as "acts of God." We kindly ask guests to take this into consideration prior to making a booking.
- We reserve the right to cancel bookings paid with credit cards that do not match the name on the reservation. Valid ID may be required at check-in to confirm card ownership.
Site Details

- Requiring an additional tent to the site will be for a charge of $25/night, please call in to have this added to your site.
Garbage Disposal
- Please leave your site clean and dispose of all household garbage in the dumpster by the front entrance. Large waste items, such as those that cannot be bagged, must be properly disposed of at the appropriate off-site facility.
- Bottles and cans should be disposed of in designated containers around the property.
- Appropriately dispose cigarette butts.
Parking
- Each booked campsite is allowed 6 people, two cars with one tent + one RV per site, or two tents in RV Sites.
- Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Using more than one site will result in additional charges.
- No parking on roadways or grass.
- Overflow parking will soon be available.
Site Connections
- Please use the appropriate sewer and water hookups to continually dump grey or black water. To avoid pipe blockages, do not flush anything besides the camper tank toilet paper.
- Louie Lake Campground is not liable for any damage caused to RVs due to site hookups. This includes but is not limited to electrical surges/over-voltage conditions, water pressure spikes or sewer backups.
Fire Pits
- Guests must follow the local fire advisories. In the case that guests use the designated fire pits, it is required that these fires are not left unattended.
- Guests must outsource firewood or purchase from a campground employee and must not remove surrounding trees to build a fire, if damage to property is found, guests are subject to a $100 fee.
- Guests are permitted to utilize fallen dead trees as firewood during their stay. However, it is imperative that all deadfall is completely burned before the arrival of the next guest to prevent any misunderstandings or inconvenience.
- No campfires larger than 1/2 meter high.
- Burning of wood with nails, or staples, found in firepits or burned garbage will be subject to a $100 fee.
- There is zero tolerance for fireworks and firecrackers.
Facilities & Wi-Fi
- Smoking is not allowed in any of the campground buildings.
- Remove muddy footwear in shower house, and please turn off the lights when not in use.
- Showers are Loonie-operated, if you require loonies, please contact management.
- The laundry facility is self-serve and is coin operated, please contact management to purchase laundry coins. Please remove clothing immediately once cycles are complete. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged clothing items.
- Park facilities are for the convenience of the guests. Any guests using these facilities are to use them at their own risk.

Pets
- We are pet-friendly here at Louie Lake Campground. However, all pets must be kept on a leash when outside of the camper.
- Please be a good neighbor and clean up after your pet always. Failure to clean up after pets will result in a one-time Pet Cleaning Fee of $20.
- Pet owners are responsible for pet noise levels and damage, please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.
- Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors, can affect your pet's well-being while you are away.
- If you are staying in one of our cabins or our retro-chic RV, pets are not allowed on the furniture. For any incidents, that will be a $20 charge per occurrence.
- Dog waste bags are supplied around the park, please use this a dispose of these in the waste bin by the front entrance.
Booking Modifications
- If you need to adjust the length of your booking, please notify us immediately.
- Camping is paid in advance, and refunds are only done when given notice of cancellation. No shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
- Louie Lake Campground regrets to inform guests that refunds for reservations will not be provided in the event of circumstances deemed as "acts of God." We kindly ask guests to take this into consideration prior to making a booking.
Safety and Emergencies
- Contact information is saved on file in case of emergency. This information remains private and used only when a situation arises when we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or is sought by law enforcement agencies. We never give personal information out to others.
- If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so the maintenance staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.
Amenities
- Guests are invited to use recreational equipment such as kayaks, lifejackets, and slides. Guests are to acknowledge they are using this equipment at their own risk.
- Guests are to acknowledge there is no lifeguard on duty, all minors must be accompanied by an adult while using the swimming area, and understand swimming is done at their own risk.
- Guests must acknowledge the dangers of swimming, understand that others may be fishing, and must be responsible for their own actions.
- The driving range is free for guests to use if they bring their own gear. Golf balls are available for purchase. While using the field, guests must look out for others and agree to use it at their own risk.
Fishing
- The pond is stocked every second year, please only practice catch & release fishing.
- All fishing requires special permission from campground staff.
- Absolutely no barbed hooks and no live bait are allowed when fishing.
General Park Policies
- Please be advised that the Louie Lake Campground is monitored 24/7 by video surveillance.
- To keep all guests safe, please obey the 10 km/h park speed limit.
- Off highway motor vehicles are allowed to unload within the campground, but must be driven off within speed limits and respecting others.
- Parents and/or guardians are responsible for their children and their safety. Any damages or safety issues to the property will be the responsibility of the parents or legal guardians and will be subject to repairing fees.
- Guests are to acknowledge the risks and dangers of camping outdoors and not hold the park owner or employees liable for injuries or property damages resulting from these risks and dangers.
- Louie Lake Campground is not responsible for any lost or stolen items, personal injury or damage from any cause.
- There is zero tolerance for firearms, weapons, or illegal drugs at Louie Lake Campground. Any disorderly conduct or vulgar behaviour is not tolerated, and if required, Louie Lake Campground holds the right to refuse service to anyone deemed necessary. If any rules or laws are violated, park employees have the right to dismiss further stay from the park grounds without a refund.
- No washing or maintaining vehicles in the park.
- Alcohol is permitted but must be consumed responsibly.
- Drones are not allowed to be used on our property without permission.
- Purchases of firewood, golf balls, and/or ice are FINAL SALE.
Privacy Policy
- At Louie Lake Campground, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information, including your credit card details.
- Collection of Credit Card Information: When you make a reservation or booking with us, we may collect your credit card information to secure your reservation. This information may include your card number, expiration date, and security code.
- Use of Credit Card Information: Your credit card information may be stored securely on file for the following purposes: a) Damage Deposit: Your credit card may be used as a form of a damage deposit to cover any potential damages to the property during your stay. b) On-site Purchases: If you make purchases on-site during your stay, your credit card may be charged accordingly.
- Security of Credit Card Information: Your credit card information is stored and secured by Campspot in a secured database. They employ industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
- Consent: By providing us with your credit card information, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of this information as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
- Disclosure of Information: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your credit card information to outside parties unless required by law or necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.
- Retention of Information: Your credit card information will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.
- Access and Correction: You have the right to access and correct any inaccuracies in your credit card information stored by us. Please contact us if you wish to review or update your information.
Guests Staying in Cabins or Our Vintage Chic RV Greater Than 3 Nights
- Guests are asked to bring their own bedding and bath towels, if needed, we can supply guests with these items for an additonal charge of $15.00 per set, please notify us if you are needing these items.
- Guests are supplied with dish towels and miscellaneous kitchen supplies upon arrival. Throughout their stay, guests are responsible for replenishing their own dish soap and laundering their linens. Please note that park staff do not provide room cleaning services during stays.
- If items within cabins and Vintage Chic RV go missing, guests are subject to a fine of $90 or more, circumstance depending.
- Guests staying greater than 3 nights in the Vintage Chic RV are to bring their own propane tanks as well as bedding and bath towels (as indicated above).
- Please ensure that guests clean up after themselves and maintain cleanliness in the area outside your cabin.
- We kindly request that guests respect the peaceful atmosphere of those vacationing here and refrain from hosting parties on the premises.
