Cancellation Policy
Lundy Lake Resort
RESERVATION REQUIREMENTS, PAYMENTS, CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS REFUNDS:
Lundy Lake Resort does not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. Refunds are not granted for early departure.
- Deposits and Payments:
- Deposit Due Upon Booking: 50% of total stay is due upon reservation
- Balance: The remaining balance is due 6 weeks prior to checkin date and will be auto-paid via the card on file unless already paid
- Add-ons: You may add extra persons/pets/vehicles to your stay anytime up until checkin. Cabins: We ask you please do your best to let us know in advance so that the proper quantity of linens and room setup is provided for your party's actual size.

- Minimum Night Stay:
- Spring Season (opening - June 14) 3 night minimum stay
- Peak Summer Season (June 15 - September 15) 5 night minimum stay
- Fall Season (September 16 - close) 3 night minimum stay
- Cancellations and Refunds:
- Refund percentages are based on the stay total, not total balance paid.
- 6+ weeks prior: If a reservation is canceled 6 or more weeks (42+ days) prior to the arrival date, a full refund is issued, less a 1 night cancelation fee
- 4-6 weeks prior: For a reservation canceled 4 or more weeks, but less than 6 weeks (41-28 days) prior to arrival, a 50% refund is issued and the balance is forfeited.
- Less than 4 weeks prior: For reservations canceled less than 4 weeks (27 days) prior to arrival there is no refund and the full reservation is forfeited.
- ADD-ONS
- Pet fee: There is a $50 flat rate fee per pet per stay. If you need supplies to clean up a pet mess, please notify us immediately so we can help address it.
- Additional persons:Base rate includes a 2 person occupancy. Additional persons require an additional $30 per night per person fee.
- There is no additional vehicle fee for cabins. However, please note that camping vehicles (i.e. trailers/motorhomes/vans/tents) are not permitted in the cabin area. Camping vehicles require campsites and may not be added to cabin stays.
- CHECKOUT: Please refer to the instructions posted in the cabin for checkout steps (ex: clean dishes on drying rack, trash in trash cans,heater thermostat off, door closed, take personal belongings.) Disrespectfully filthy cabins will be charged an additional $100 cleaning fee, and any property damages are assessed individually.
- Minimum Night Stay:
- Campsites:
- There are no minimum night stays for campsites at this time.
- Cancellations and Refunds:
- Refund percentages are based on the stay total, not total balance paid.
- 2+ weeks prior: If a reservation is canceled 2 or more weeks (14+ days) prior to the arrival date, a full refund is issued, less a $25 cancelation fee
- 1-2 weeks prior: For a reservation canceled 1 or more week, but less than 2 weeks (13-7 days) prior to the arrival date, a 50% refund in the form of camp credit (to be used toward a future stay) is issued and the balance is forfeited.
- Less than a week prior: For a reservation canceled less than one week (6 or less days) prior to the arrival date, there is no refund and the full amount of the reservation payment is forfeited. If prior to or upon arrival you wish to change to a different available site, we are happy to accommodate switching your site to one of equal or lesser value at no switching cost to you. You may also choose to apply your existing payment as a credit toward a site of greater value if you wish to upgrade when switching sites.
- ADD-ONS
- Pet fee: There is a $10 flat rate fee per pet per stay
- Additional persons:Base rate includes a 2 person occupancy. Additional persons require an additional $5 per night per person fee.
- Additional vehicles: Camping rates include: 1 RV + Tow Vehicle OR 1 Truck + Trailer OR 1 car + tent(s) OR 4 motorcycles + tent(s). There is a $20 nightly fee for additional vehicles/trailers.
- CHECKOUT: When checking out, please check your site for trash and return any picnic tables back to their original position. Missing or damaged campsite property will be addressed individually. If you have any unpaid balance, if possible, please visit the front desk prior to departing.
- In accordance with California SB 644, we provide full refunds or will reschedule reservations within 24-hours of a booking confirmation, as long as the original reservation is made at least 72 hours or more before the check-in time. Please reach out to us at lundylakeresort@gmail.com if this applies to you so we can void/refund the cancelation fees the system automatically applied, or apply your original payment to a rescheduled stay with new dates.This is a manual process for us at this time, so we appreciate you taking time to reach out so we can make it right. Thank you!
- OCCUPANCY RATES AND ADD-ONS: All base rates are for 2 person occupancy. Additional persons require an additional nightly fee. Overnight visitors count as guests and require an additional person fee. Please notify us of any occupancy changes prior to scheduled arrival. Babies under 3 no charge (BYO PackN’Play). Any unpaid/unregistered guests and/or vehicles and pets will be added to your reservation and charged to the card on file along with any other remaining balance upon checkout.
- NO-SHOWS: No-shows are treated as cancellations and no refunds will be given for a no-show.
- EARLY DEPARTURES: Early departures or changes to reservations after arrival/check in will not be refunded. Late arrivals will not receive a discount or refund unless granted by Lundy Lake Resort officials in advance at the time of reservation.
- OVERSTAY: Failure to vacate your campsite/cabin by checkout time and date of your reservation is rude and negatively impacts other reservation holders that have a right to the space for the full dates of their reservation. Blocking roads, driveways, and access to other sites is also unacceptable. Overstaying or abandoning property/vehicles may result in private party impoundment, relocation, towing fees, storage fees, overstay fee, and/or additional night stay fees. If you overstay in a reserved spot, you will likely be towed at your expense so we may grant access to the reservation holder. If the spot is available, you will be charged the price of the site reflecting the number of days stayed. The reservation holder is fully responsible for all fees and costs associated with towing and storage of property in cases of impoundment/relocation due to overstay or blocking roads/access.
- FRAUD: Fraudulent chargeback attempts that violate our clearly outlined refund/fee/cancellation policies are a form of stealing from our small business. They will be contested, denied and result in banning from any and all future reservations for you and your family/group.
In accordance with Mono County Code Chapter 3.28, stays longer than 29 nights are prohibited.
