🌵 Marfa Yacht Club Cancellation Policy

At Marfa Yacht Club, we embrace the adventure of the high desert—wild landscapes, starry nights, and the occasional unexpected surprise. While we understand that plans change, here’s everything you need to know about cancellations, refunds, and reservation changes.

🌧 No Refunds for the Discomforts of Nature

We believe in embracing the experience, and that means no refunds for things beyond our control—like weather, the occasional train whistle in the night, a chatty coyote at dawn, or your neighbor’s impromptu Broadway rehearsal under the stars. It’s all part of the adventure!

⛺ Site Cancellation Policy

  • 7+ Days Before Arrival:
    • The first night's stay plus booking and credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
    • The remaining balance of your reservation will be refunded.
  • Less Than 7 Days Before Arrival:
    • The entire reservation is forfeited. No refunds.
  • Event & Holiday Weekends:
    • 100% non-refundable with minimum night stay requirements.

↩️ Refund Policy

  • No refunds for early departures, weather conditions, acts of nature, evictions, or anything beyond our control.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express). If you paid with a card, the refund goes back to that card. No exceptions.
  • Refunds typically process within 7-10 business days, though your bank may be faster (or slower—we wish we could control that, too).

📅 Reservation Changes

  • Changes to reservations may automatically trigger the cancellation policy, and may be subject to additional fees.
  • If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to help!

💰 Payment Policy

  • Full payment is required at booking to secure your spot.
  • Declined or charged-back payments will automatically trigger the cancellation policy.
  • If your payment method is declined and not updated, your reservation may be forfeited.

🏕 No-Show Policy

  • We hold your reservation until 10:00AM the day after your scheduled arrival.
  • If you don’t check in by then and haven’t contacted us, we’ll assume you’ve embarked on another adventure.
  • No-shows forfeit their reservation with no refund. But hey, we’ll miss you and hope to see you next time!
