Cancellation Policy

Cancelation Policy

Client understands that upon entering a service contract, McClintock Bay Resort is committing time and resources to this event and thus cancellation would result in lost income and lost business opportunities in an amount difficult to precisely calculate. Therefore, the following cancellation limitations will apply.

RV Site:

If a reservation is canceled more than 2 weeks before the arrival date we will issue a full refund, minus the non-refundable $25 transaction fee; or Resort Credit in the full amount can be elected. 

For cancellation of a reservation more than 1 week, but less than 2 weeks, before the arrival date we will issue Resort Credit for 50% of the payment and the balance is forfeited.

For a reservation canceled less than 1 week before the arrival date, the full amount of the reservation payment is forfeited to McClintock Bay Resort.

This only applies to single RV rentals, not group rentals.

Group rentals are treated as an event.

Cabins: 

If a reservation is canceled more than 3 weeks before the arrival date we will issue a full refund, minus the non-refundable $50 transaction fee; or Resort Credit in the full amount can be elected. 

For cancellation of a reservation more than 2 weeks, but less than 3 weeks, before the arrival date we will issue Resort Credit for 50% of the payment and the balance is forfeited.  

For a reservation canceled less than 2 weeks before the arrival date, the full amount of the reservation payment is forfeited to McClintock Bay Resort.

This only applies to single cabin rentals, not group rentals.

Group rentals are treated as an event.

Day Event:

If the event is canceled within 14 days of confirmation and more than 6 weeks before the event date we will issue a full refund, minus the non-refundable $275 transaction fee.

If a reservation is canceled 1 month or more before the event date, we will issue a Resort Credit for 50% of the first payment, minus the non-refundable $275 transaction fee.

For a reservation canceled less than 30 days before the event date, the full amount of the reservation is forfeited to McClintock Bay Resort.

Multi-day Event:

If the event is canceled within 14 days of confirmation and more than 3 months before the event date we will issue a full refund, minus the non-refundable $275 transaction fee.

If a reservation is canceled 6 weeks or more before the event date, we will issue a Resort Credit for 50% of the first payment, minus the non-refundable $275 transaction fee.

For a reservation canceled less than 6 weeks before the event date, the full amount of the reservation is forfeited to McClintock Bay Resort.

Black-out Rental:

If a reservation is canceled within 14 days of signing and more than 4 months before the event date we will issue a full refund, minus the non-refundable $275 transaction fee.

If a reservation is canceled 3 months or more before the event date, we will issue a full refund of payments to date, minus the non-refundable first payment, amount determine at the time of booking. Or Resort Credit in the full amount minus the non-refundable $275 transaction fee can be elected.

If a reservation is canceled more than 2 months but less than 3 months before the event date, we will issue a Resort Credit for 50% of payments to date, minus the non-refundable first payment.

For a reservation canceled less than 60 days before the event date, the full amount of the reservation is forfeited to McClintock Bay Resort

Resort Credit can only be redeemed in the same calendar year as the canceled reservation and can only be applied toward your RV site or cabin/lodge rental.

For reservations paid with a credit card, refunds will be credited to the credit card on file for the reservation.

Catered Portion:

If the event catering service is canceled within 14 days of confirmation and/or more than 1 month before the event date we will issue a full refund, minus the non-refundable $275 transaction fee.

If the service is canceled 2 weeks or more before the event date, we will issue a Resort Credit for 50% of the first payment, minus the non-refundable $275 transaction fee.

For a reservation canceled less than 2 weeks before the event date, the full amount of the catering is forfeited to McClintock Bay Resort.
