Mecosta Pines Campground, Morley, Michigan
If you are looking for a family-friendly place where every weekend has activities to do, then Mecosta Pines Campground (MPC) is the place for you! For the comfort and safety of all our guests, below are our campground rules. It is your responsibility to be certain that all of your party know and abide by the campground rules and expectations. HAPPY CAMPING!
- CHECK-IN - RV/Tent Sites = 1pm; Rental Units/Cabins = 3pm. No arrivals after dark for the safety of our campers.
- CHECK-OUT - 11am – We cannot accommodate late check-outs. No refunds for any unused portion of your stay after you have checked in unless order to evacuate by local government or authorities.
- NUMBER OF GUESTS - Site lots are rented for up to 2 adults and up to 4 children. Additional adults are $10 per night and additional minors are $8 per night. We do not allow more than 4 adults on one site. Beyond this number may require you to rent another site.
- VEHICLES - Limit of 2 vehicles per site. All vehicles must have a parking pass obtained from the MPC office. All visitors must park in visitor/overflow parking areas if you already have 2 vehicles at your site.
- SPEED LIMIT – 5 mph for all vehicles. You are responsible for communicating this reminder to your guests as needed.
- VISITORS/GUESTS - All guests must check-in at campground office prior to proceeding to site. Guest fees are $5 per person to enter the campground or $8 per person for those who will also be using the pool. Visitors must leave the campground by 10pm.
- CHILDREN – You should not leave the campground leaving minors unattended. The attendee of the children must be at least 18 years old. Children under 5 years old must be supervised at all times for their safety.
- SWIMMING POOL – Children under 14 years old may not swim without a parent or guardian who is 18 years or older. Non-potty-trained children must wear a swimmy-type diaper in the pool. There is no lifeguard on duty, so swimming is at your own risk. Swimsuits are required. No street clothes in the pool. You and your guests must abide by all posted signs at the pool area or risk being prohibited from pool use.
- ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES – Must be kept at your own campsite in either a cup or if in can/bottle, covered by koozie. No alcohol allowed in the swimming pool area.
- QUIET HOURS – 10pm to 8am. All minors must be on campsite by 10pm unless accompanied by an adult. Common courtesy rule – If your neighbors can hear you during quiet hours, it is too loud.
- TRASH – No trash in fire pits. All trash must be placed in the dumpsters in closed garbage bags. The MPC dumpsters are for campground trash only.
- FIREWOOD/FIREPITS - We do not allow outside firewood to be brought into the campground, but it may be purchased at the campground store. Please do not move the fire rings. Extinguish fire upon retiring.
- BOATS/HAULING TRAILERS – Not allowed on your campsite. Storage may be available in the campground. Please call campground ahead of time to be certain we can accommodate.
- OTHER MOTORIZED UNITS - Golf carts, mopeds, side-by-sides, Gators, or other utility vehicles are not permitted to be driven in the campground. Seasonal guests only may have electric golf carts approved by MPC owners.
- FIREWORKS – All fireworks including sparklers, firecrackers, etc. are prohibited in the campground.
- FIREARMS/GUNS – Any gun that shoots anything but water is prohibited in the campground. This includes paintball guns.
- CAUSES FOR EVICTION – The following may result in immediate eviction without refund. Disorderly conduct, excessive drunkenness, illegal drug use, obscene language, any verbal or physical threat to MPC owners, employees, or other campers. This list is not exhaustive but examples of possible situations for eviction.
- PETS – Only dogs and cats are allowed in the campground. Limit of 2 pets per site. Although we do not specify breeds, aggressive animals are not allowed in the campground. Pets must be on a leash or be contained with a perimeter fence at all times for the safety of all our guests. Please contain barking of dogs for the comfort of all campers. Please clean up after your pets by disposing of their waste properly. Do not throw it into the woods, river, or other common areas.
- Cancellation: Cabin and Park Model: Must be cancelled more than 14 days for a refund Less the $25 cancellation fee. If less than 14 days, no refund given. Campsites: Less than a month: $20 cancellation fee, must be cancelled at least 7 days in advance, 14 days for Holiday Weekends.
