Montrose Camping Terms & Conditions
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF CAMPING PATRONS TO REVIEW PARK TERMS AND CONDITIONS PRIOR TO THE COMPLETION OF THE RESERVATION PROCESS.
Montrose Campground Operation Dates:
May 1st – October 1st ; Weather Permitting; Council Advised
1. Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children, and/or pets.
2. Guest assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold park harmless from and indemnify park against the same.
3. The park is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss, or theft of any personal property or vehicle.
4. We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies. The CampHost or City Personnel may have your vehicle/camper/RV towed at your expense if you are parked in a site that does not line up with your reservation online through campspot.
5. All Motorhomes, RVs, or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance.
6. We reserve the right to refuse access to guests whose vehicle is deemed unacceptable.
7. Tents are limited to a maximum of two per site and cost an additional $10 per tent, per night.
8. Campers will not be allowed to stay for more than 14 consecutive days, unless special approval is received from the Montrose Finance Officer. After 14 days, a camper is required to be away from the campground for at least 48 hours.
9. Maximum of 8 people staying at a site at any given time.
10. Visitors are welcome at guest sites between the hours of 9 AM & 10:30 PM.
11. Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight. All visitors are required to leave by 10:30 PM.
12. Propane grills and propane fire pits are allowed. Fire pits may be used as long as there is no active burn ban in place for the city. The city Finance Officer has this information if needed.
- Campers are to maintain a reasonable size fire; for safety reasons, we do not allow the burning of large lumber, pressure-treated lumber, or pallets.
- Wood Piles are not to exceed 3 feet high x 4 feet wide and must be kept tidy.
- At no time is fire to be left unattended.
13. Blowup mattresses, sleeping bags, and cots are not allowed outside.
14. Rugs are not allowed on grassy areas of sites.
15. Maintenance on RVs or vehicles on the property is not allowed unless otherwise given permission.
16. Washing RVs or vehicles on the property is not allowed unless otherwise given permission.
17. The use of any paint products or chemicals is prohibited.
18. Temporary Clotheslines for towels and bathing suits are permitted; however, no other laundry may be hung. We are not responsible for accidents or theft. Guests may not hang any items from the trees.
19. City Trees – Municipal trees are not to be cut, including trimming branches, or removing bark. Please contact the Campground for Host for maintenance requests.
20. All sites are to be kept neat and clean for the duration of your stay.
21. Only 1 RV and a maximum of 2 other vehicles are allowed per site unless otherwise given permission.
22. All trash is to be disposed of in enclosed trash receptacles throughout the property.
23. DO NOT leave trash out overnight.
24. Boats, boat trailers, cargo trailers, or car dollies are not allowed on sites.
25. Drones or other remote-controlled machines may not be used at any time on the property.
26. If an electric vehicle is being charged in the campground, then a fee of $20 per day, per vehicle is required.
Available Check-In Time:
All Sites: You may check in anytime after 3:00pm.
Check-Out Time:
All Sites: Please check out by 2:00pm so we can welcome our other guests.
Late Check-Out Policy:
The front desk may be able to arrange a late checkout, if available. Additional fees may apply. To ensure availability for incoming guests, please plan prompt departures.
Safety:
1. The use of Firearms of any kind is PROHIBITED on our property.
2. The use of archery, paintball, slingshots or air guns is PROHIBITED.
3. Fireworks of any kind are PROHIBITED.
4. Use of illegal drugs is PROHIBITED.
5. Obnoxious behavior of ANY kind is PROHIBITED.
6. Speed limit on the property is 5 mph.
7. Motorcycles must be in idle speed when traveling through the property.
8. No vehicles can block any portion of the roadway.
9. Vehicles may park in designated spaces only.
10. Only persons with a valid driver’s license may operate a motor vehicle on the property.
11. Vandalism of any kind by anyone in your group (regardless of age) may result in eviction from the resort.
12. Patrons under the age of 18: Parents must accompany children under age 18 who are staying on the premises/site. At no time is a child under the age of 16 is to be left alone on the premises without parental supervision. You are responsible for the actions and whereabouts of your children and any friends they bring to the park with them, at all times. Riding bicycles without a parent and on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and other guests. Anyone under the age
of 18 must be back at their site by dusk.
13. Emergency Contact Information forms are required from all monthly guests. This information remains private and used only when a situation arises when we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or is sought by law enforcement agencies.
Security:
1. Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. Keep your valuables locked up.
2. Report any problems with your site to the Main Office or Campground Host immediately.
3. We adhere to and maintain all state, county, and local laws on property.
Quiet Hours:
1. Quiet hours are from 10:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
2. Please be courteous to other guests around you.
3. Loud music or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time.
4. Inconsiderate guests will be evicted from the park.
5. Profanity or violence towards other guests or property staff will result in immediate eviction from the park.
6. Guests violating rules that result in an eviction notice will not receive any refunds for their stay.
Pet Policy:
1. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose pet is NOT considered suitable to the serenity/safety of our guests or the park.
2. Pets must be kept on a leash or under the control of someone who can always manage all animals.
3. There is a (3) three-pet limit in the park.
4. Exotic or oversized pets are not permitted unless otherwise given permission.
5. All Pets must be registered at the Front Desk upon arrival.
6. Pets may not be left outside unattended.
7. Guests are responsible for “cleaning up” after their pets.
8. Guests should have proof of their pet’s current vaccinations.
9. Pets are prohibited in park buildings, amenity areas, and the rental house lawn.
10. Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without a refund.
11. Park is not responsible for and will hold accountable the pet owner for any injury or damage caused by the pet(s).
12. Service animals may accompany a disabled person without any proof of disability or certification for the service animal.
