Moose Lake City Campground

MOOSE LAKE CAMPGROUND

GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

1.     We reserve the right to evict, without refund, anyone who does not respect the campground rules, or does not respect fellow campers.

2.     The City of Moose Lake and Moose Lake Campground is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles.

3.     All guests must register.

4.     No waste water (including gray water) is to be dumped on the ground. Please use the provided dump station located across from the office.

5.     Put all garbage in the dumpsters. If you clean fish, please wrap the remains well in a plastic bag.

6.     All pets must be on a leash and may not be left unattended. Please clean up after them. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in your              being asked to leave without a refund.

7.     Be courteous to all campers and keep showers short to ensure hot water for everyone.

8.     Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. The campground is police patrolled. During this time, children under the age of 12 must            be accompanied by an adult if they are not at their camping site. Visitors will be warned only once before being asked to leave without a                  refund.

9.     There is a 5 MPH speed limit within the campground. There are many children, so please drive carefully.

10.  If the entrance gate is closed, please open the gate, then close it after you enter.

11.  The City of Moose Lake prohibits discharging firearms or fireworks within the city limits.

12.  Motor bikes and ATVs are to be used only to and from campsites and must follow the 5 MPH speed limit.

13.  All fires must be attended. Please do not cut tree branches. The office provides wood for sale from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., daily.

14.  Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Please use main roads, sidewalks, and                   designated public paths to walk around the campground.

15.  Our restrooms are open 24/7 for the convenience of our visitors, however are closed once per day for cleaning.

16.  The swimming beach is open to the public, however there are no lifeguards on duty. Please do not bring glass containers to the swimming               beach.

17.  Only one picnic table per site, unless special arrangements are made.

18.  Only one trailer and one tent is allowed at each site.

19.  Check in time is 3:00 p.m. Checkout time is at 2:00 p.m.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

I agree, and shall cause by children, invitees and guests, to abide by the Park Rules posted at the Premises or otherwise communicated in any manner by Moose Lake Campground Management.

I further understand and agree that Moose Lake Campground does not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. Moose Lake Campground’s refund policy is as follows:

If a reservation is cancelled more than five days in advance, we will issue a full refund, minus a non-refundable $10 transaction fee. For a cancellation of five days or less, a refund of 50% will be issued. If a reservation is not canceled and is considered a “no show”, no refund will be provided.

As a participant in a recreation activity, I am responsible for acting within the limits of my ability and heeding all warnings regarding participation in the activity. I will maintain control of myself and any equipment while participating in the activity and will refrain from acting in any manner that may cause or contribute to injury to myself or to others.

I HEREBY RELEASE, WAVIE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE City of Moose Lake, d/b/a Moose Lake Campground, its owners and agents, and any and all liability to me, my children, my invitees/guests, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of use and occupancy of the City of Moose Lake property and facilities and any dangers and hazards associated with acts of nature such as changing weather conditions; high winds; thunder and lightning; temperature fluctuations; falling trees; tree limbs; ice; or encounters with wildlife.

I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS Moose Lake Campground Management, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the Premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that, although Moose Lake Campground makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.

I understand that I am and remain personally liable to pay the total amount of my reservation prior to my scheduled check-in date, or at such earlier date communicated to me. If I fail to pay the total due, I agree that Moose Lake Campground may charge any remaining balance (in additional to any damage charges or other amounts owed under these Terms and Conditions) to any credit or debit card on file with my reservation. Any amounts due after 30 days will be subject to the maximum late charge permitted under state law.

The Moose Lake Campground reserves the right to refuse service to anyone that disobeys the rules and regulations and will require guests who do not follow the rules and regulations to vacate the Moose Lake Campground immediately. Harassment or mistreatment of our staff or other guests, including, but not limited to, racist comments or hate speech, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. I have read this notice and agree to it as well as all Moose Lake Campground Rules and Regulations. In addition, I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including any children, and any guests that visit during my stay.
