Terms & Conditions
Mountain View Camping Llc
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the property, amenities, facilities, services, activities, campsites, and lodging located at 373 mill rd, Wartburg tn 37887 (“the premises”), which is operated by Mountain View Camping, LLC By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all of the Terms & Conditions contained herein.
RV POLICIES
Check In / Check Out
Check in is at 2 PM EST and entitles you to your site until 12 PM the day after check in. Early check in is not permitted. The guests who paid for the site the night before you has paid for their site until noon. We will not ask a guest to leave so that you can check in early. If you will be arriving in the area early, please make arrangements until your site opens up at noon. We do not have a waiting area for those checking in early.
All sites must be paid for before or upon check in.
Check out time is 12 PM. You do not need to contact the office for check out.
Late check-ins are allowed at any time, please just contact the park for instructions.
If you are staying in our park for a month or longer, we require an agreement to be signed. Please contact park for more details.
Open Fires
Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in firepits or designated fire rings.
Site Changes
You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites
Parking
Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.
Storage
Storage is not allowed under or around your RV or picnic table.
Washing
Washing your vehicle or off road machine is not allowed. Please check with the office about washing your Rv if you are a long term resident.
Rugs
Rugs are only allowed in gravel, as it kills the grass and we want your site to look good for both you and the next guest.
Pet Policies
Leash
We require that you always keep your pets on a leash while walking around the campground or keep them on a leader within your camp site. This helps you; your pet, and other guest’s pets stay safe. You will only recieve Three warnings before your immediate termination of your lease, nightly site rental, you will also forfeit anything you have paid.
Cleaning Up After Your Pet
Be a good neighbor and please use the dog walk area and clean up after your pet always. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites please. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund.
Leaving Pets Unattended
Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pets well-being while you are away.
Barking
Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.
Vehicle Policies
Speed Limit
The speed limit on the gravel road in and out is 10 mph. The park speed limit is 5 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Three warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.
Parking
Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site 1 Tent, 2 vehicle per site unless noted. Please do not park on our grass. Ruts caused in your site due to additional vehicles will result in damage charges.
Additional vehicles will cost additional fees for camping. A nightly registration covers 1 RV, 1 Tent 2 vehicles.
No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for and do not block the road. Parking on the grass is not permitted at RV Sites.
ATV’s, Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, and Golf Carts
Off Highway Vehicle’s are welcome onsite but may not be used within the park. ONLY to get to and from your site. Must not be running around or come in after quit time if you plan to be out past quit time please trailer your rides in and out.
Quiet Time Policies
Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM. Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.
Trash Disposal and Recycling
We offer a Trash Dumpster at the entrance of the park. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the dumpster. Please do not place your trash on the ground. Woodland creates like possums and racoons are attracted to left out or disposed of food and while we think they are cute and wonderful animals, we don’t want you to find a surprise night visiting racoon at your site because of incorrectly disposed of trash! Do not dispose of wires, oil or any toxic waste or chemicals in our dumpster.
Children
Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Riding bicycles without a parent and on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests. Anyone under the age of 18 must be back at their site by 8pm
Water Use
You must have a water pressure regulator installed in order to prevent damage to your plumbing our main line runs around 100 to 125 psi. This will DAMAGE your plumbing without the use of a pressure regulator.
Electrical Use
You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in your RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay. The use of electric heaters will result in added fees please use your propane heat and not elctric space heaters.
Responsibility for Children, Invitees, and Guests
I agree, and shall cause my children, invitees, and guests, to abide by the Park Rules, including those rules and policies published and posted at the Premises or otherwise communicated in any manner by Mountain view camping.
Drones
Drones are not permitted in our park. Please do not fly drones over people or RVs. There are several local area parks where drones are permitted for your enjoyment.
Firearms
Firearms are strictly prohibited out side your camper in our park. The prohibiting of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns.We understand when traveling its nice to have protection please just leave them locked up in your camper or vehicle. If these items are seen outside of your RV or Vehicle, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
Fireworks
The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The only time fireworks are permitted to be used is July 4th and must not be used after Quiet hours. If you choose to shoot off fireworks on the the Forth of July please do so far away form all campers and building on the premises.
RENTALCAMPERS
You are responsible for the awning to be put up during high winds and storm.
You are responsible for any damages inside and/or outside due to negligence, and are fully responsible for the cost of repairs
Safety and Emergencies
Emergency Contact Information forms are required from all monthly guests. This information remains private and used only when a situation arises when we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or is sought by law enforcement agencies. We never give personal information out to others.
If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call (423) 346 2128, 24 hours a day. (No soliciting is allowed.)
Cancellation / Refund Policies
- 30 Days or More Cancellation Prior to Arrival - Full refund minus $10 refund fee
- 15-29 Days Cancellation Prior to Arrival: 75% Refunded
- 8 – 14 Days Cancellation Prior to Arrival: 50% Refunded
- Less than 7 Days Cancellation Prior to Arrival: Refund forfeited
· Outstanding Balance
· I understand that I am and remain personally liable to pay the total amount of my reservation prior to my scheduled check-in date, or at such earlier date communicated to me. If I fail to pay the total due, I agree that Mountain View Camping may charge any remaining balance (in additional to any damage charges or other amounts owed under these Terms & Conditions) to any credit or debit card on file with my reservation. Any amounts due after 30 days will be subject to the maximum late charge permitted under state law.
Refusal of Service
The Premises are privately owned, and Mountain View Camping and its Agents reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason except for those prohibited by law. Mountain View Camping and its Agents reserve the right to require any person or party it deems necessary to leave the Premises based on violations of Park Rules, violations of these Terms & Conditions, or behavior Mountain View Camping and its Agents deem inappropriate or disturbing to others. Harassment or mistreatment of our staff or other guests, including but not limited to racist comments or hate speech, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. If you are involved in any Illegal activity or have the cops called to your site will be grounds for immediate dismissal of your stay with us and with out refund.
Violation Policy
If you violate any of these Terms & Conditions in a manner that is demed you need to leave the park by the owner, you will have 24 hrs to remove your camper and belonging from the Property. If you are staying in one of our rental campers you will have 48 hrs to remove your belongings from the property no EXCEPTIONS!!! ALL DAMAGES WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CARD ON FILE.
Right of Publicity
On behalf of each person in my party, I grant Mountain View Camping and its affiliated entities and promotional partners the right to include any photographic, video, or other visual or audio portrayals of each person in my party in any medium and for any purpose.
I hereby agree to the following regulations and conditions while camping at Mountain Top with my animal.
- Supervision. I agree to keep my animal on a leash while in all public areas of the Premises. I further agree to have my animal with me or a designated individual at all times and understand that I may not leave the animal unattended in campsite. I agree to prevent noise or any other disturbance by my animal for the benefit of other guests at the Premises.
- Vaccinations. I represent and warrant that my animal is up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies and distemper) and flea treatments.
- Disturbances. I agree that, should my animal create any disturbances, which cause complaints to be made to the management by other guests or employees of Mountain View Camping, at the request of a Mountain View Camping employee, I will immediately make arrangements to house my animal elsewhere outside the Premises. Additionally, I understand and agree that if I do not find alternative housing for my pet after being asked to do so, I will be asked to leave the Premises and will not be issued a refund.
Release and Indemnification. I understand that my permission to have my animal at the Premises with me is a privilege and not a contractual right. Such permission is expressly conditional upon my adherence to the terms of these rules and other rules in effect at any given time. I understand that Mountain View Camping may revoke such permission at any time for any reason. Additionally, I hereby assume all responsibility for risk, injury, damage, other harm that may occur while my animal is at the Premises, or is caused by my animal. Further, I hereby knowingly and voluntarily expressly release and discharge Mountain View Camping and its Agents, from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, both present and future, whether known, unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, that me or my guests or invitees may have against any of Mountain View Camping or its Agents arising out of or incident to my animal’s presence at the Premises, whether arising from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of me, my animal and/or any guest or invitee. I further agree to indemnify Mountain View Camping and its Agents for any and all such claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, including costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees arising as a result of or related to the presence of the animal at the Premises
Acknowledgement and Agreement
I have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions as well as all Mountain View Camping rules and regulations. I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including any children or guests that visit during my stay. My execution of these Terms & Conditions, including the Releases contained herein, is entirely voluntary and intended to be binding on my heirs, executors, legal representatives, and assigns.
