Natura Wilderness Resort, Ellershouse, Nova Scotia
1. DAMAGE DEPOSIT: A $100 damage deposit is required upon check-in to cover any potential damages beyond normal wear and tear. This deposit is refundable upon satisfactory inspection of the property at the end of your stay. Any damages or excessive cleaning required will be deducted from the deposit. Damages in excess of the deposit will be charged to the card on file for the booking.
2. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Each site has a maximum occupancy of 6 people, based on its size and amenities. This limit includes all registered guests and any approved additional guests.
3. REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY: All guests who stay overnight or visit the site must be registered. Any additional guests beyond those registered at the time of booking must be approved by resort management in advance, must register, and are subject to additional fees.
4. FEES FOR ADDITIONAL GUESTS:
DAY VISITORS: Day visitors are allowed with prior approval from resort management. Visitors must check in and pay the $5 visitors fee upon arrival and are subject to the same rules and regulations as overnight guests, including adherence to quiet hours and other resort policies. Visiting hours are from 8 am to 11 pm. Guests remaining past that time will be charged the overnight fee. We do not allow any new visitors after 8:00 p.m.
ADDITIONAL OVERNIGHT GUESTS:
Additional adult guests added to a booking will be charged $25/night accommodation fee.
Children aged 17 and under who are added to the booking will not be charged an accommodation fee.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL FOR ADDITIONAL GUESTS: You are welcome to bring your own cots, foamies, sleeping bags, etc., or you can rent equipment.
Cots – each tent can accommodate up to two cots. Cots with linens can be added to the booking for a flat fee of $25 each.
Pole tents – each tent site can accommodate one pole tent. The fee for a pole tent and up to two cots with linens, is a flat fee of $75.
5. GUEST RESPONSIBILITY: The guest who makes the booking is responsible for the conduct of their additional guests and must ensure that they comply with all resort rules and policies. Any damage or disturbance caused by additional guests is the responsibility of the booking guest.
6. NON-TRANSFERABLE RESERVATIONS: Reservations are non-transferable, and guests cannot substitute or change registered guests without prior approval from resort management. This policy ensures accurate record-keeping and compliance with safety regulations.
7. COMPLIANCE WITH POLICIES: All guests and additional guests must comply with resort policies, including those related to safety, cleanliness, waste disposal, and respectful behavior toward staff and other guests.
8. RESERVATION CHANGES: Any changes to the number of guests, or addition of new guests must be communicated to resort management as soon as possible. Changes may be subject to availability and additional charges.
9. VEHICLES: For the safety of our livestock and all campers, the speed limit on site is 10 km/h. Parking on access roads is prohibited. Additionally, unlicensed motor vehicles, children's motorized vehicles, and golf carts are not allowed on the property.
10. CAMPFIRES: Campfires are only permitted in designated fire pits. The burn pile must be no higher than 0.5 metres, supervised at all times by a responsible adult, and fully extinguished before leaving the area. Guests must abide by provincial fire bans.
10. SUPERVISION: Children 13 and under must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
11. PRESERVATION OF GROUNDS: Trees and shrubbery shall not be cut, broken, or defaced whether dead or alive. Such damage will be charged for as determined by management.
12. PETS: We welcome a maximum of two dogs per booking. Dogs must be well-behaved and under the control of a responsible adult at all times. Guests must bring their own bedding for the dog(s), as they are not allowed on the resort beds. Guests are responsible for cleaning up and disposing of all droppings. Any additional cleaning required will be deducted from the damage deposit. Pet owners are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing any equipment damaged by their pet (e.g. chewed items, soiled bedding, etc.)
13. RESTRICTED AREAS: Pet owners are welcome to walk their dog outside of their campsite, so long as the dog is on leash or under control at all times. If the dog is inclined to chase or bark at other animals, they may not enter the barnyard area. Adults and supervised children are welcome to enjoy watching the farm animals, but are strictly forbidden from feeding them or entering the enclosures.
Natura Wilderness Resort will not be held responsible or liable for any property damage, injury, fire, collision, or theft. The use of resort facilities for you, your family and your guests is at your own risk.
