North Country Campground & RV Park
North Country Campground and RV Park Agreement and Rules:
This Park Guest Agreement (*Agreement*) is between Norh Country Campground and RV Park and or its owner TGS Investments LLC and the person(s) identified in the information of this reservation know as (*Guest (s )* ).
LIABILITY WAIVER: By continuing with this reservation, you as the customer/camper/your family/your guests are accepting these terms and agree that camping an outdoor activity can be dangerous and can cause injury an even death to property, people, and pets. You agree to accept these risks, terms an camping privileges at North Country Campground and RV Park with the understanding that you and your heirs hereby release North Country Campground and RV Park, TGS Investments LLC, its officers, owners, their heirs and employees, of all liability for any loss or damage to your property and any injury or death to you, your family and/or your guests arising out of this camping reservation and use of these camping facilities, and agree to indemnify North Country Campground and RV Park, TGS Investments LLC, its officers, owners, their heirs and employees, against claims resulting from any loss or damage to property or injury to the person of any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of use of is camping facilities. This includes any damage or harm to you or your vehicle/camper/etc. if it gets stuck/locked out or anything else you may ask assistance with.
Ø Check-in is at 1:00pm. Check-out is 11:00am. Early check in may be allowed provided the site/camper/bunkhouse is available. Late check-out may be allowed provided the site/camper/bunkhouse is not scheduled for rental.
Ø Site Changes- You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving.
Ø Standard rate occupancy is 6 people per site. Extra person fee is $10.00/Night/person. 2 cars are permitted per RV site, 1 per tent site. Please do not park on or put your belongings on another campsite. No parking on the road.
Ø Only registered guests are permitted in the park. All visitors must stop at the office to register, pay a fee, and receive a parking pass. These passes must be visible in vehicle at all times. North Country Campground & RV Park reserves the right to limit the number of guests visiting a site. All registered campers are responsible for their visitors and their behavior. All day visitors must leave the park by 11:00pm. 1 Visitor tent is allowed per site for an additional $35.00 per night.
Ø Quiet time is from 11:00pm to 8:00 am. Light music at your site is permitted outside these hours provided it does not bother other guests. No generators allowed during this time.
Ø No Clotheslines are permitted to be put up on your campsite.
Drying racks are available for rent for $10.00. Ask at office if needed.
Ø No Grey water to be dumped on the ground. If your site does not include sewer hook-up, dump caddies are available along with dump site located near pole building. Ask at the office if needed.
Ø For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with the exception of temporary closing for cleaning once per day. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean, please. Guests under the age of 10 need adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers.
Ø Use of firearms, fireworks or other explosives within campground and surrounding area is prohibited.
Ø Pets: PETS MJST BE ON A LEASH OUTSIDE OF YOUR RV/CAMPER. All pets must be Up to Date on Vaccinations. Please bring a copy of vaccination records. Limit 2 dogs per site. Pets are not to be tied up outside of your RV/camper when you are not in the park and are not to be left unattended at any time. Leaving your pet unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages etc., can affect your pet’s well-being while you are away. Pets are not allowed on furniture. If you are staying in our Bunkhouse, pets are not to be on furniture for any reason. For any incidents there will be a $25.00 charge per occurrence. If any pet demonstrates aggressive behavior towards another pet or camper, you may be asked to leave the campground. Excessive barking/yipping/howling/etc. will not be tolerated. Pet owners must clean up after their pets. Bring a clean-up bag or disposable baggies may be purchased at the Office. These pet terms and conditions apply to day guests as well. Management reserves the right to deny any pet deemed to be untrustworthy. Additional pet fee is $25.00 per pet per day.
Ø Climbing of trees or gathering of firewood and/or any cutting, sawing, chopping, carving, or damaging of any trees in the park is prohibited. Loose sticks/branches on the ground are acceptable to use in firepits.
Ø Firewood: Not only is It important not to move invasive species in firewood. But it is The Law! We want to maintain good health of the trees in the campground and surrounding area therefore NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD IS ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT IN. DNR firewood can be purchased at the office.
Ø Obey any restrictions on fires. Fires may be limited or prohibited at certain times for safety reasons. If not sure contact the office latest update.
Ø Campfires are only permitted in the North Country Campground and RV Park provided rings. Do not change the fire ring location. Your campfire must not be higher than 12 inches above the top edge of the fire ring. NEVER burn cans/bottles/garbage/etc. in your campfire.
Ø You are responsible for keeping your campfire under control. Never leave your campfire unattended. Be sure your fire is completely extinguished before leaving. USE WATER TO EXTINGUISH.
Ø Use of ATV’s, UTV’s, Side by Sides, Motorized Scooters, or Go-Carts are allowed to be used in the park provided you use in a respectful manner and not to exceed 5 mph.
Ø Drones are not permitted in our park. Please do not fly drones over people or RV’s. There are several local parks where drones are permitted for your enjoyment.
Ø No washing of vehicle, RV/camper, ATV/UTV on campsite or anywhere in the campground.
Ø Smokers: Please be courteous and dispose of your cigarette or cigar butt in an ashtray or proper receptacle. Do not throw or drop on the ground or in the fire ring.
Ø PLEASE BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL to your neighbors. Please do not walk through occupied camp/rv sites.
Ø Please keep the camp site clean and free of debris. You must take your garbage with you or put it in the provided dumpster located on the south side of the campground. It is for normal campsite garbage. It is not to be used to dispose of appliances of any kind, furniture of any kind, tires, any RV/camper/tent parts, hoses, air mattress or inflatable devices of any kind, or electronics of any kind. Never have bags of garbage outside on your campsite, this may attract little creatures like possums and racoons, while they may be cute and wonderful animals, we don’t want you to find a surprise night visiting racoon at your site. Please pick up any debris that may blow away from your campsite. Please help in keeping the park litter free and looking clean.
Ø In the case of severe weather, seek shelter in the bathrooms located on the south side of the campground. Signs are posted. We love pets, so please bring them with you (leashed) and please do not leave them in your RV during severe weather warnings.
Ø You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in your RV. Amp usage over the 50 amps provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.
Ø Please notify the office if you have an electrical issue during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. We are happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.
Ø Emergency Contact Information forms are required from all monthly and seasonal guests. This information remains private and used only if we need to contact someone due to an emergency or is sought by law enforcement agencies. We never give personal information out to others.
Ø If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, Call 218-718-2267 or 320-336-8608 24 hours a day.
Ø If you need to call 911 for any reason and time allows please contact the office so we an be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site. 218-718-2267 or 320-336-8608
Ø This agreement and/or your occupancy of a campsite or camper/bunkhouse does not create a tenancy or residency in favor of the guest. Guest must depart by the checkout time (unless an approved extension was made) on the day immediately following the last night indicated in your reservation. If guest fails to timely depart, North Country Campground and RV Park and/or TGS Investments LLC may provide guest an oral, email or text message notification to immediately vacate with their possessions including their RV/Camper, Vehicle, Tent, or other camping equipment. Failure to vacate immediately will result in the guest being guilty of a misdemeanor and guests shall be deemed to be illegally occupying the premises. North Country Campground and RV Park and/or TGS Investments LLC owners or appointed representatives may remove and store the Guest’s equipment, vehicles, and other property at Guest’s expense. Failure to pay or damge to property will reault in eviiction with out refund of deposit or monies paid. Camper and Bunkhouse rentals are subject to inspections at anytime by owners or associates.
Rental of Campers in the winter, after Nov 1st until May 1st guest is responsible for winterizing (skirting and isulation) paying electric and propane. No open flame, gas, propane (except furnace) or Kerosene heaters are allowed. This applies to month to month or longterm rentals.
Bunkhouse rental in the winter, after Nov 1st until May1st.. Guest is responsible for paying for propane. The tank will be filled at beginning of rental, guest should fill as needed and at end of rental. No open flame, gas, propane (except furnace) or Kerosene heaters allowed. This applies only to Month to Month or longer rental agreements.
Electronic signatures: You agree that your electronic signature, whether digital or encrypted, is intended to authenticate the Terms and Conditions contained herein and to have the same force and effect as manual signatures. Delivery of a copy of the Agreement or any other document contemplated hereby bearing an original or electronic signature by email transmission in “portable document format (“.pdf “) form, or by any other electronic means intended to preserve the original graphic an pictorial appearance of a document, will have the same effect as physical delivery of the paper document bearing an original or electronic signature.
Additional Terms for Rental Units:
I understand and agree as follows:
At departure, the rental unit is to be left in a reasonable clean condition (broom swept), garbage is to be removed from the rental unit and placed in dumpster, all kitchens and kitchenettes are to be left clean, all dishes to be washed and put away, microwave, refrigerator, stove, and countertops are to be wiped clean. Otherwise, North Country Campground & RV Park may charge my credit card with a $125.00 cleaning fee. I understand and agree that if I leave the rental unit in an unreasonable filthy condition, permit a pet to occupy the rental unit that is not designated a pet-friendly unit, North Country Campground and RV Park may charge my credit card for the cost to professionally clean the rental unit ($250.00 minimum charge).
All damages to the rental unit, whether caused by myself, my children, guests or pets occurring to the rental unit during my stay will be charged to my credit card after a thorough inspection has been made by North Country Campground & RV Park. Damages for which I will be responsible for include, but are not limited to: Lost Key(s), broken/lost TV/DVD/Remotes, broken items, discharged fire extinguishers (if not for a fire), damaged/dented/bent appliances, furniture, cabinetry, dishes, or writing on the walls or bedding, ripped or torn mattresses or covers, loss of kitchen, bathroom linens, loss of bedding.
There is to be NO SMOKING of any kind including vaping in lodging units. You may be asked to leave without refund and charged a disinfectant fee if discovered.
Guests staying 30 days or longer must check in with the office for additional paperwork to be signed.
