OAK HOLLOW CAMPGROUND

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Campsites

1. Campers must be 18 years of age to reserve a campsite. Sites can be reserved online, over the phone, or in the office.

2. Check-in at the campground office is required prior to going to a campsite.

3. Check-in time begins at 2 p.m.; Check-in after 7:30 p.m. is not permitted. You must have your RV or tent at the time of check-in.

4. Check-out is by noon; Late check-out is not permitted.

5. Quiet hours are between 10 p.m. - 7 a.m.

6. There is a six-person maximum and a two-vehicle maximum per campsite. This includes campers & visitors.

7. Oak Hollow Lake is a water reservoir for the City of High Point. Due to runoff concerns, washing of vehicles or campers is not permitted.

8. Campsites must be left clean after use. Trash must be put in dumpsters located in A & B sections.

9. Reservations for Camping Clubs (over 10 campers) and Furniture Market are available.

10. All tents must be placed on a tent platform.

Pets

1. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. (HPCO 12.2.1)

2. Vaccinations are required; proof of vaccinations may be requested at any time.

3. Pets are not permitted in the pool area or bathhouses.

4. Pet waste must be disposed of in dumpsters located in A & B sections.

5. Campers with animals exhibiting threatening behavior may be required to remove the animals or vacate the campground. (HPCO 12.2.17)

Visitors

1. All visitors must register in the office. A visitor tag must be displayed on vehicles while in the campground.

2. Visitors are not permitted during quiet hours (10 p.m. - 7 a.m.).

Campground Pool

1. Warning: No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.

2. Visitors are not allowed in the campground pool, which is reserved for registered campers only.

3. Arm bands may be required to enter pool area during holidays.

4. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. The supervising adult must be 18 years of age or older.

5. Pets, glass and smoking are not permitted in pool area.

Safety

1. Concealed handguns possessed under the provisions of a valid concealed carry permit are allowed in open areas only, unless otherwise posted. All other firearms and other deadly weapons, whether openly displayed or concealed, are prohibited. (NCGS 14-415.23 and HPCO 12.1.5)

2. Consumption of beer, wine, ale or other alcoholic beverages is prohibited. (HPCO 12.1.4)

3. Please observe posted speed limits.

4. Must be at least 16 years of age to operate a golf cart or motorized vehicle in the campground (ID required).

5. Oak Hollow Lake serves as a drinking reservoir for the City of High Point; therefore, swimming is not allowed. Registered campers can use the campground pool during operating hours.

Cancellation Policy

A full refund will be issued for cancellations and rescheduling requests that are made at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations and rescheduling requests that are made less than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled arrival date will receive a refund equal to the funds paid minus one night’s stay at the reserved rate.

No refunds will be issued for early departures, late arrivals, or for cancellations and rescheduling requests that are made on or after the scheduled arrival date. All cancellations and requests for refunds must be in writing or can be submitted by email.
