Ojibwa Campground Park Rules 

Campground Policies 

Check In / Check Out 

Check in is at 3 PM EST and entitles you to your site until 11 AM the day after check in. Early check in is not permitted. The guests who paid for the site the night before have paid for their site until noon. We will not ask a guest to leave so that you can check in early. If you will be arriving in the area early, please make arrangements until your site opens up at noon. We do not have a waiting area for those checking in early. Check out time is 11 AM. You do not need to contact the hotel for check out. 

Late check-ins are allowed at any time, please just contact the park for instructions. 

Site Changes 

You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move please check with the Campground Care taker. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites. 

Open Fires 

Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in a designated fire rings.

Parking 

Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges. 

Lawn Care & Maintenance

Weather permitting maintenance will be making rounds every Wednesday & Thursday to mow site lawns. If you would like your site mowed we ask that you remove any outdoor items (Lawn chairs, Bikes, Rugs, Outdoor toys, etc.) or debris.   

Pet Policies 

Leash 
We ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. This helps you, your pet, and other guests and other guests’ pets stay safe. 

Building, Showers and Restroom’s

Pets are not allowed in the buildings. Tribal laws do not allow pets in our building.

Cleaning Up After Your Pet 

Be a good neighbor and clean up after your pet always. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites please. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund. 

Leaving Pets Unattended 
Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pets well-being while you are away. 

Barking 
Excessive pet barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive pet barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund. 

Vehicle Policies 

Speed Limit 

The park speed limit is 10 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave without refund. Safety is our number one priority for our guests. 

Parking 
 
No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for and do not block our garages or our bathroom doors

ATV’s. Dirt Bikes, and Golf Carts 

OHV’s are welcome onsite but may not be used within the park.  ONLY to get to and from your site. 

 

General Park Policies 

Electrical Use 

You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay. 
 
Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so. 

Public Restrooms/Public Showers 

For the comfort of all our guests, public restrooms / public showers are open from 7am-11pm located at the Powwow Grounds with exception of a temporary closing for cleaning once per day. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms / shower rooms clean, please. Guest under the age of 18 need adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers as well. 

Quiet Time Policies 

Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM. Anyone playing loud music or being overly loud will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund. 

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Ojibwa Campground for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ojibwa Campground from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Ojibwa Campground may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. Ojibwa Campground reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.

Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.

Ojibwa Campgrounds or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property, or thing howsoever caused.

The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any cause.
