         We at Old River Road RV Resort 

welcome all visitors and consider our guest as members of our extended family. 

The following rules are designed to ensure that all guests have a pleasant and relaxing visit.

Visitors are required to check in at the front office before entering the park. Our rates reflect 2 per site each additional person is $7.00 per person per day and $10.00 per person on Holidays.

The Speed limit in the park is 6.5 mph. Please be aware of pedestrians and animals in the roadways. 

Quiet hours are from 10PM to 7AM in Winter Season and 12PM to 7AM for Summertime Fun time

Check -In time for Rv’s is 12:00 noon Check – Out time 12:00 noon

If you plan on staying longer, the sooner we know the better chances of keeping you in your current site. 

NO refunds for early departure. 

(Please note: we cannot always guarantee that you will be able to keep the same site due to previous reservations.) 

Check-In time for Cabins is 2:00 pm noon Check – Out time is 11:00 am. No late check out is available on our cabins.  There is an Excessive Cleaning Fee on Cabins left in Disarray.

No loaded firearms, lethal weapons, pellet or BB guns, or fireworks are allowed on the property. 

No open fire. Any and all fires must be contained to BBQ grill or Fire pit. 

A sewer hose (rubber donut or threaded connector) for your sewer hose is REQUIRED on all sewer hookups. 

Mats, area rugs, etc. (anything that can possibly leave dead areas on the lawn) are NOT ALLOWED under any circumstance. This includes breathable mats.

Please Obey all posted notices and signs.

Electric Vehicle Fees apply on daily, weekly, & monthly.  

NO SMOKING in any buildings. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground, including at your site or cabin area. 

No parking on the lawn or in roadways. If there is not enough room to park in your site, you may use the parking area near the pool and front office. 

Site must be kept neat and free of trash, rubbish, toys, equipment, and other possessions. 

No trimming or wood gathering from trees.  We do have firewood bundles available for purchase at the Front Porch. 

Absolutely No ATVs, UTVs, Go Carts or 4Wheelers allowed without written permission from manager. 


 

Children must be supervised. Parents will be held responsible for their children’s behavior and action. No children allowed in pool or buildings without adult supervision. Closely monitor your child while using Bounce Pad.

Garbage should be sealed in plastic bags and placed in front of your site by 10:30 AM for pick up. Do not leave garbage outside overnight. 

Cat are not allowed in any of our lodging facilities. Cabins, Cottages, 2 bedroom and lofts!!!

Pets are most welcome at Old River Road RV Resort. However, all pets must be leashed and under physical control of the owner/handler at all times! Pet pen, cages, kennels etc. are not allowed.  Please do not leave your pet outside unattended and be sure to pick up the poop, as it not up to other guest or grounds crew to clean up after your pet. Please dispose of waste properly in waste stations located throughout the park. No pets are allowed in of the community buildings or Pool areas.  The cabins which are pet (dog) friendly require a $100 security deposit of which $50 will be reimbursed at check out when cabin is cleared by staff.

PET POLICY





 

ALL CUSTOMERS

 

The following Pet Policy is effective immediately for all guest, current and future, residing at Old River Road Rv Resort

  1. Due to Insurance Carrier Restrictions, and at the discretion of the Resort Owners, we can no longer allow the following breed of dogs’ entry into the Resort:

 

PIT BULL TERRIERS, AMERICAN BULLDOGS, AMERICAN DUCHE SHEPARD, STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIERS, DOBERMANS, ROTTWEILERS AND CHOWS

 

  1. There will be no exceptions allowed on these breeds.  Any crossbreed pet appearing to be more than 50% of one of the above breeds, and at the discretion of Resort Management, might not be allowed entry into the Resort.
  2. All pets must be on a leash at all times when outside of your RV.  An exception would be if you were letting your pet swim in the river.  The leash requirement is for the safety of your pet as well as others.
  3. Pets are not allowed in any of our buildings at any time.  Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool area.
  4. Do not leave pets unattended at your site.  If you tie your pet at your site, you must put them inside before leaving your site. Do not leave your pet tied up.  Do not leave pets for extended times in your rig allowing them to bark continuously.  Barking dogs disturb your neighbors.  If your pet relieves itself on your site or anywhere else in the resort, you must pick-up and dispose of the waste in containers provided throughout the park.
  5. Vicious or aggressive pets, no matter their breed or size, should not be brought into the park.  If your pet becomes a problem management can at their discretion, demand that the pet be removed from the resort at once.  No one knows your pet as you do, so please keep Old River Road Rv Resort safe for everybody, don’t bring a mean dog into our facility.
  6. The maximum number of pets allowed per site is two (2).  Management can decide to allow more, depending upon breed and size.  Pets weighing over fifty (50) lbs. must have management approval prior to entry into the resort.
  7. When walking your pet, please refer to the park map for dog walking areas.  You should have received a brochure upon check-in.  Please be courteous; do not walk your pet across other guest sites.  Always pick-up after your pet no matter where you are.  Never allow your pet to dig at your site or anywhere else inside the resort.  You will be liable for damages.
  8. Cabins (CA-1-11 & 24-29) are the only cabins authorized for pets.  However, these cabins will only be allowed small pets weighting less than 25 lbs.  There will be a Pet Deposit of $100.00 required for these cabins.  No exceptions.  No more than one (2) pets per cabin will be allowed.  Upon check-out, $50.00 will be refunded to you if there is no damage.  The remaining $50.00 will be charged for extra cleaning and sanitizing of the cabin.  There is no exception to this charge.  Your pet will cost $50.00 to stay with you in these cabins.  NO EXCEPTIONS.
  9. You must disclose your pet’s breed, size and quantity when making a reservation.  It is your responsibilities to inform us that you will be bringing a pet, and you must honestly disclose its breed and size.  If upon your arrival date, you have an unauthorized dog, the pet will NOT be allowed entry into the resort.

Please respect privacy of fellow guest. -      Do NOT walk through occupied sites. 

Management reserves the right to evict or refuse entry to any person who has evidenced a disregard for the rule without a refund. Guest and their visitors agree to use the campground at their own risk. The management and owners are not responsible for damage, injury or loss to persons, pets or property. We reserve the right to make changes to the rules, regulations, and fees that we deem necessary.

 

NO LIABILITY. USER HEREBY INDEMNIFIES, RELEASES, AND AGREES TO PROTECT AND HOLD HARMLESS CAMPGROUND, ITS OFFICERS, OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS (“CAMPGROUND PARTIES”), FROM AND AGAINST ALL CLAIMS, CAUSES OF ACTION, AND/OR LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO USER’S USE OF THE RV SITE, CAMPGROUND’S PROPERTY, AND/OR ANY CONDITION THEREON, WITHOUT LIMIT AND WITHOUT REGARD TO THE CAUSE OR CAUSES THEREOF OR THE NEGLIGENCE OF CAMPGROUND PARTIES.

THEFT OF SERVICE AND CRIMINAL TRESPASS

ACCORDING TO TEXAS PENAL CODE SECTON 31.04, a person commits theft of service if, with intent to avoid payment for service that the actor knows is provided only for compensation, the actor intentionally or knowingly secures the performance of the service by agreeing to provide compensation and, after the service is rendered, fails to make full payment after receiving notice demanding payment. “Intent to avoid payment” is presumed if the actor absconded without paying for the service or expressly refused to pay for the service in circumstances where payment is ordinarily made immediately upon rendering of the service, as in recreational vehicle parks. That is, any guest who leaves without paying for site services or who refuses to pay for site services when due may be subject to criminal prosecution. We will prosecute any violations under the “THEFT OF SERVICE LAW.”

 

ACCORDING TO TEXAS PENAL CODE SECTON 30.05, a person commits an offense if the person enters or remains on or in property of another, including a recreational vehicle park, without effective consent and the person had notice that the entry was forbidden, or received notice to depart but failed to do so. That is, any guest who receives notice to leave and refuses to do so may be subject to criminal prosecution. If we ask you to leave, you must vacate Campground’s property. We will prosecute any violations under the “CRIMINAL TRESPASS LAW.”

 

  1. Lessee acknowledges receipt of the equipment identified above (the “Equipment” which was examined by Lessee and found to be in first-class condition upon receipt (except as noted below).  Lessee further acknowledges that the equipment is leased by, Leaser to Lessee for the use and purpose for which it was manufactured subject, however to the terms and conditions set forth herein.
  2. Lessee shall return the equipment to the office no later than the date and time 

specified above (LESSEE SHALL CONTACT LESSOR IF AN EXTENSION OF TIME IS DESIRED) or upon Leaser’s demand therefore.  The equipment shall be returned in the same condition as when received, ordinary wear accepted.

  1. Lessee shall pay to Leaser, upon demand, rental for the equipment at the rates provided above until the equipment is returned to Leaser.  Daily rates will apply unless other arrangements are made with Leaser in advance.  Daily rates will apply if the equipment is kept after the scheduled return date.  All days including weekends and holidays are chargeable.
  2. Lessee shall reimburse Leaser, upon demand for the loss of, or any damage to the equipment or property damage while it is rented to Lessee and for all costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fee, incurred by Leaser in collecting and amounts owing by Lessee hereunder or in otherwise enforcing Leaser’s rights hereunder.
  3. Lessee shall identify and hold Leaser harmless from and against any and all liability, including bodily injury and property damage, arising out of the use or operation of the equipment by Lessee or anyone using or operating the same with Lessee’s express or implied consent: provided, however, that Leaser shall be responsible for loss or damage resulting from Leaser’s sole negligence.
  4. Lessee shall abide by all rules and regulations of Leasser governing the use of the equipment (ONLY HOLDERS OF A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER MAY OPERATE THE EQUIPMENT).
  5. Lessee shall not assign the Rental Contract or sublease the equipment.

GOLF CART RULES

  1. Lessee must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  2. Operator(s) of golf cart must be 18 years of age and have in their possession a valid driver’s license. (moped license, learner’s permit, etc. are not accepted)
  3. Golf Carts operated after sunset must have lights turned on.  Please respect your neighbors and the quiet hours.
  4. Golf Carts must be operated properly. Horseplay, racing or other misuse of cart will not be tolerated.  Carts are to be operated on Resort roadways only and not on thru sites or restricted areas.  No off road riding.
  5. Speed limit is 5 mph
  6. Golf Carts must remain in the campground at all times not to exceed past posted areas.
  7. Golf Carts can carry a maximum of 4 people and all passengers must be seated at all times when cart is in motion.
  8. Golf Carts must be returned at 11:00 am day of return.  Late returns of cart will be charged $10 every half hour late.
  9. Please report any malfunctions to management immediately.
  10. Anyone found abusing the rules and regulations of the rental golf cart would forfeit all rental privileges.  There will be no refunds made if the cart has to be returned because of Lessee misuse.  Loss of security deposit will also result if cart is misused or damaged.  There are no second chances.
  11. Alcohol is not permitted on the golf cart and it is against the law to drink alcohol and to drive.  If you have alcohol on the golf cart or are under the influence you will immediately lose rental privileges and all monies for the rental of the golf cart.
  12. Violating any of the rules will be cause for immediate loss of rental privileges.  
    1. Underage drivers – anyone under 18 operating the golf cart
    2. Invalid driver’s license or no driver’s license
    3. Reckless driving
    4. Only those licensed /banded/with photo identification permitted to drive.
