CAMPGROUND TERMS
As the person making this reservation, I understand and agree that Panama Rocks reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to immediately remove any guest who violates park rules, violates terms of service, engages in unsafe or disruptive conduct, or otherwise creates a risk to the safety, peace, or operations of the park, without refund. Panama Rocks reserves all rights not specifically granted herein. I agree to abide by these Terms of Service, posted park rules, and any additional policies or instructions communicated by Panama Rocks management or staff. Failure to enforce any provision shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision.
I give permission to Panama Rocks to charge the credit card used to make my reservation (card on file) to pay for professional cleaning, repair, or replacement of damaged park property and consequent lost revenue resulting from damages caused by me, my children, guests, or pets. When multiple individuals, families, or parties are associated with the same event, group, or gathering — regardless of whether reservations were made together or separately — all members of the group may be held jointly and severally responsible for any damages, excessive cleaning, or losses caused by any person in the group or their guests. If the responsible party cannot be specifically identified, Panama Rocks reserves the right to allocate charges among the associated parties or related reservations in order to recover costs for repair, replacement, or cleaning as necessary.
I will abide by the Park Terms of Service and Rules and Policies, including those rules and policies published and posted or otherwise communicated in any manner by Panama Rocks staff or management. I accept responsibility and liability for the members of my party and for all acts resulting in damage to any and all grounds, property, or persons without exclusion.

In the event that I am signing on behalf of any minors, I certify that I have full authority to do so, realizing its binding effect on them as well as myself. I have explained the risks of hiking at Panama Rocks to all minors and/or dependents I have with me and they understand and accept those risks. If I brought a pet, I certify that it is friendly and will always remain on a leash. I agree to NOT take my pet on the upper trail and to keep it safely away from all cliffs and drop-offs.
I understand that the hiking trail and ground is uneven with roots and rocks, that there are cliffs and deep holes in the ground, that some cliffs and holes are near the trail and not readily visible, and that there are no railings. I am aware that hiking and/or climbing at Panama Rocks Scenic Park involves RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. I understand and agree that Camp-At-The-Rocks LTD. (DBA Panama Rocks) shall have no duty to warn me of or to remedy any risks, dangers, or hazards. I further agree to assume all risk of personal injury or loss or damage to any of my property.
I hereby release Camp-At-The-Rocks, LTD from any and all legal liability and for any negligence to the fullest extent permitted by law. I agree not to sue or make a claim against Camp-At-The-Rocks, LTD, and I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Camp-At-The-Rocks, LTD. and all of its owners, officers, agents, employees, lessors, and lessees for (1) any and all claims for damage, injuries, or death to myself, any minor, dependent, pet with me, (2) for any damage to my property, and (3) to any other person, pet, or property caused by or resulting from my presence and that of any minors, dependents, or pets with me due to our participation in activities at Panama Rocks Scenic Park. CAMPGROUND RULES
We reserve the right to remove guests who violate our rules without refund.
We have a zero-tolerance policy towards threats made to our staff or guests.
Police will be called if anyone threatens, or is heard threatening, another person.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Campers may check-in between the hours of 2:00pm and 5:00pm. We ask that all guests check-out by 10:00am. If you need to check-in or check-out outside of these hours, please contact park management as soon as possible at 716-703-0021 or jonathan@panamarocks.com.
PARKING: Vehicles under 6,000 pounds (gross vehicle weight) may park at tent sites if the ground is dry/hard; however, if the ground is wet/soft we may require vehicles to park in the parking lot (you will still be able to drive to your site to load/unload). We also ask that vehicles do not drive into the campground after 9:00pm so that headlights do not disturb other campers. All vehicles of overnight guests must be registered with the park and have a parking pass visible on the inside dashboard.
GLAMPING TENT CARE: Our tents are made of cotton canvas that can stain or tear if not treated with respect. We carefully document the condition of each tent and its contents before and after each rental.
- TOUCH TENT CANVAS WITH CLEAN HANDS ONLY! Wipes are provided outside and inside your tent.
- TELL US IF THERE IS A PROBLEM! Please notify park management ASAP!
- CANDLES & OPEN FLAMES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN OUR TENTS!
- NO SMOKING OR VAPING IN THE TENTS!
VISITING THE ROCKS: Guests are allowed in the scenic rock area ONLY after participating in our safety talk and signing the waiver of liability. Admission to the Panama Rocks scenic area is included with your overnight stay; however, guests are only allowed in the scenic rock area between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm unless additional hours are noted by park management. Please enter the rock area only at the main entrance booth. Guests who enter the scenic rock area after hours or without signing our waiver will be required to immediately leave the park/campground without a refund and may face prosecution for criminal trespass (we’re serious about this – accidents can result in serious injury and/or death).
FOOD AND GARBAGE STORAGE: You can eat in your tent but to prevent animals from destroying your tent or hurting you food and food waste must NOT be left out unattended or overnight.
- Food/leftovers must be stored securely in a glamping tent mini-fridge or in your vehicle.
- Do not leave food or garbage unattended. Messes/crumbs/spills must be cleaned up immediately. If there is a big spill, let us know and we can help!
- Food waste can be disposed of outside of the tent in our animal-proof trash can located in the amenity shed (or in your vehicle). Please close and latch the shed door behind you to keep animals out!
CAMPFIRES: You are welcome to start a fire in one of our designated fire pits. Please do not burn anything other than wood. We have firewood available for your use and you are welcome to collect fallen sticks from the forest. Do not leave fires unattended and PLEASE make sure that your fire is completely out (including all coals) when you leave or go to sleep to prevent forest fires. To prevent the spread of invasive species, WE DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD.
KEEP THE NOISE DOWN: We are not a campground for partying - our guests visit to enjoy nature. We ask all guests to respect one another and keep noise to a minimum (conversational level) at all times. Quiet time (whisper level) is from 9:00pm to 9:00am and is strictly enforced.
SUPERVISE CHILDREN & YOUTH: Children and youth must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Youth under the age of 18 are not permitted in the Panama Rocks scenic area without an adult. Youth under the age of 18 must be either at their campsite or with a responsible adult between 9:00pm and 6:00am.

Alcohol is not permitted outside the campground area. Smoking is not allowed in our glamping tents or within 20 feet of our glamping tents or other guests. You may NOT enter the scenic rock area while under the influence of drugs or alcohol!
ADDITIONAL GUESTS: Guests are welcome between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm when the park is open to the public (they must pay park admission like all other park guests) but please bring no more than five (5) guests to your campsite at one time to keep the grounds peaceful for others.
PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE CAMPGROUND: Parties and large groups are not allowed in the campground but we welcome parties and groups in the picnic area or park rec hall during park hours from 10:00am to 5:00pm or after 5:00pm by reservation. Guests must pay park admission during park hours (10:00am to 5:00pm) and/or before entering the Panama Rocks scenic rock area. You are welcome to host up to five guests at a time between the hours of 10:00am and 9:00pm (after normal park hours). You must secure a guest parking pass before the arrival of your guests who plan to visit after 5:00pm (our office is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm). All guests must sign a park waiver of liability, follow park rules, and leave park grounds by 9:00pm.
PETS: Up to two dogs are welcome in our pet-friendly units (look for the paw mark designation) for an additional fee. Dogs must BE LEASHED AND ATTENDED BY OWNERS AT ALL TIMES, or placed in a safe crate/pen, while on park grounds (don't leave them alone). Dogs MUST BE FRIENDLY with strangers and children. We reserve the right to remove any animal that is disruptive, destructive, or dangerous.
- Glamping Pet Fee: $20 per night per pet.
- Tent Site Pet Fee: $5 per pet per night.
LEAVE NO TRACE: Clean up after yourself and make it look like you were never there. This is for your neighbors, future guests, and for the environment. If you moved anything, move it back. Keeping a clean campsite ensures future camping for everyone! If you make an unreasonable mess or destroy park property you may be charged a cleaning fee of $50 per hour, damages, and lost revenue (see above).
EMERGENCIES: IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY, CALL 911 FIRST. After calling 911, or for small emergencies, please contact the park owner (Jonathan’s cell phone is 607-316-1436). We are a small, family run park and campground and we don’t have 24-hour staff. If your call is not answered on the first attempt, please immediately call a second time and leave a voicemail if needed. We will respond as soon as possible.
SHORT TERM RENTALS ONLY: All campground rentals at Panama Rocks are for short-term recreational use only. This is not a long-term rental agreement and does not create a lease, tenancy, or landlord-tenant relationship. Reservations are limited to a maximum of 14 consecutive nights per booking, with no more than 28 consecutive nights of total occupancy allowed before a required break in stay. Campground rentals are revocable at any time for violation of campground rules or other lawful reasons and may not be used to establish residency or permanent occupancy.
