  • Solar Eclipse Camp Out

    April 5 - April 8

    Join us for a weekend camp out leading up to the Solar Eclipse on Monday, April 8th, 2024! Brown County is in the path of totality with over 3 minutes of the total eclipse - the campground has plenty of open spaces with no trees, making it the perfect viewing location! Campsites must be reserved for Friday - Tuesday. Guests are NOT required to check in on Friday or stay until Tuesday morning - you can check in anytime from Friday at 10am to Sunday at Noon, and check out anytime until Tuesday at noon. Live music by Eric Hamblen on Saturday - included at no extra charge for campers, or $10 per person at the gate. Onsite food vendors thru the weekend. For those who do not wish to camp, parking is available for $35/car in advance or $50 at the gate the day of. Solar Eclipse Glasses available for $10 each in advance or $15 each at the gate. All money raised from ticket sales, parking and sales of glasses will go directly towards funding future improvements and adding new amenities.

    The Americana Bean Jamboree features a 3-day festival inclusive of all people, gathering together to celebrate the roots of American music. Country, Roots-Rock, Storytelling, Bluegrass, Folk, and the base for all music – Blues. Featuring 3 days of various performers, workshops, and jams.   • Hippy Hill Fest

    August 1 - August 3

    The 34th annual Hippy Hill Fest will be 3 days of music flowing from 2 stages at the historic Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground. The theme of the music festivals is the music of the 1960s, where it moved towards an electric, psychedelic version of rock, reflecting the off-beat, psychedelic characteristics of the counterculture itself. Come on out to hear good music, see old friends and make new ones, dancing around and generally having a real good time!

  • Southern Indiana Blues Festival

    August 22 - August 24

    It’s time to get your fill of the blues! The blues festival weekend kicks off Thursday with a jam session hosted by the Bloomington Blues Group House Band and is open to all musicians. Friday and Saturday, be prepared for 2 stages of continuous, live blues, and some amazing workshops from your favorite artists.

  • Uncle Pen Festival

    September 19 - September 21

    Uncle Pen Fest is 3 days of different styles of bluegrass music, some workshops, jams and lots of gathering of friends and fellow campers. The annual Hall Of Fame Inductions take place on Friday and Saturday.
