    We’re ringing in a new camping season with tributes to some of our dearly beloved traditions! We’re celebrating moms with a mimosa bar, snacks & massages; honoring our troops with a full-out Armed Forces celebration and tending to our Children's garden. A three-day Memorial holiday—including a Cornhole tournament—rounds out a great month of spring camping!

    June 1 - July 1

    The month of June is about family, friends, giving back, & enjoying the beginning of summer! We’re playing a plethora of Bingo—from Breakfast Bingo to Candy Bar, to Ending the day with a Classic Game and a Chili Covered Dish—all proceeds going to our love of animals and our local animal shelter. Family Olympics will be a sure way to get your family rallying together to take home the gold! Make time this weekend to watch the local Pride and Patriotism Parade and visit the Block Party in the nearby village of Waymart. Father’s Day is celebrated with our annual Grow a “Stache” Bash Beach party which include a demonstration with Chainsaw Artist Larry Wildenstein. Save time for the annual Honesdale Roots and Rhythm Music Festival.

  • July

    July 1 - August 1

    Summer is in full swing as the month of July begins. A Star Spangled Fourth of July includes Uncle Sam Jam Tournaments—Horseshoe and Cornhole-- a patriotic bike parade, a full-on water battle, and live music. Once Upon a Time weekend offers up an enchanted tea party and a fairy tale ball at which to dance the night away. For Christmas in July, we herald the Elf on the Shelf and Buddy, too. Elf School, an Elf Look Alike Contest, a Snow Ball with live music complete this holiday season. Rounding out July, is, of course, the Summer Olympics. We’re adding spice to the competition of Olympic play with the creative flair of the annual talent show!

    August 1 - September 1

    In August, there is still much summer fun to savor. A 70’s themed beach party is the perfect showcase to our 70 years in business celebration. Wear your tie dye shirts, dust off your hustle, bump, or funky chicken and gear up for a 70’s trivia challenge. Water Wars brings water balloon pinatas, water gun tag and a cannonball contest. There is a chance to dial it down, too with the magic that is summer-- cloud watching, marshmallow roasting and dancing under the stars. It’s a squishy weekend of fun with oobleck and slime and silly, sloppy games----Bring your I don’t care if I every wear it again attire and get messy with us. Adam Swartz, puppeteer extraordinaire will lead a puppet workshop before introducing us to his wonderful world of puppets.

    September 1 - October 1

    Schools may be in session, but Labor Day ushers in a great autumn season. September brings lush fall foliage and four weekends to make one fall in love with fall. Labor Day weekend offers up the sweet farewell to summer with pickleball, gaga ball, Cornhole and Horseshoe challenges and the live music of Group du Jour. We honor the superheroes in our lives, enjoy a fall- flavored pot luck and cheer on our favorite football teams at the annual Tailgate party. We close out the month with a tribute to the Great Pumpkin with a Fan ode to It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown including a search for the Great One, a Pumpkin Parade, pumpkin painting and an arts and crafts party for kids. Make time to visit one of the delicious cideries in the area.

  • October

    October 1 - October 14

    October is about star gazing, harvesting the children’s garden and enjoying the beautiful fall vistas. Here at the lake, we will be embracing the Bippity, Boppity Boo of the Halloween season with a traditional costume treat parade and Halloween party and games with DJ Event Innovations, and a site decorating contest. Our closing weekend celebrates pumpkins and all things Halloween! We'll paint pumpkins, seek high and low for ghost pops and paint pumpkins. have a Costume Parade and Party, site decorating contest and pumpkin decorating during Weekend. Our Spooktacular weekend is our final weekend for the 2023 Season. There will be a costume parade, Halloween games and music and treats with Encore DJs. Pop Pop’s Food Truck will be here late Friday afternoon into early evening with delicious Fries and Smashburgers. Be sure to schedule some time to check out the Honesdale Harvest and Heritage Days and the Honesdale Beer and Wine Fest that will be underway locally, and of course, don’t forget the Steamtown Marathon event in Scranton.
