Take a Saturday morning stroll over to the famous Millarville Farmers’ Market to fill your cooler or fridge with goodies, toss a line into Three Point Creek that runs along the edges of the campground, hangout with a good book under the shade of a tree on a hot day, or catch one of the many events that the Millarville Racing & Agricultural Society hosts throughout the season.     June 15 - Oct 12, 2024 - 9:00 am - 2:00 pm every Saturday The Millarville Farmers’ Market is looking forward to the 2024 season, our 42nd year! We have so many amazing vendors for you to support! The people behind the tables at the Millarville Farmers’ Market are the real deal. They are the growers, farmers, makers, bakers, and artists. Ask them about their farm, their art, their love of what they do. Celebrate knowing your farmer, baker, and candlestick maker! As in 2023, admission is by a suggested donation of $3. Bring your reusable shopping bags, wagons, and umbrellas, and join us for a shopping experience like no other! The proceeds from your admission donation help to support programming at the Millarville Racetrack. Did you know, that we are host to many youth & educational clubs including 4H Clubs, High Country Pony Club, Sheep Creek Weavers, and Millarville Mutts & Mustangs to name a few? In addition, your donations help to offset costs related to grounds and building maintenance. This, in turn, allows the Millarville Racing and Agricultural Society to continue to host one of the largest, oldest, and best outdoor markets in Alberta. As per health regulations, dogs are not permitted at the Farmers’ Market at this time.

    July 1, 2024 - Canada Day Celebrate the day with friends and family with us at this always entertaining day of racing. Thoroughbred horses, locals with their stock horses, and ladies sidesaddle! There are children’s races through the day, beer gardens with live music as well as some amazing vendors from the ever famous Millarville Farmers’ Market. If you want to up the experience, you can treat yourself to the VIP Experience! A fabulous day to dress up in your own elegant take on “Derby Western”, there are no rules, but we expect fabulous fascinators will figure prominently. Your ticket will include entrance to the Races, access to the exclusive VIP tents, and lunch. Here you have shade, exclusive ATM and exclusive betting terminals.. VIP sells out quickly, so get your tickets early! Gates Open: 10:00am Race Starts at 12:00pm. Please refer to your selected time slot for admission time.

  • 117th Priddis & Millarville Fair

    August 17-18, 2024, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Admission by Donation The Priddis & Millarville Fair is a full weekend of old fashioned, country-style family fun that draws our extended community together on the third weekend in August. The Fair is suitable for all ages and includes a wide variety of competitions, contests, displays and entertainment. The theme for the 2024 Fair is COUNTRY FUN FOR EVERYONE – visitors, exhibitors, and volunteers. Visitors: - Shop at the famous Millarville Farmers’ Market on Saturday and/or the specialty artisans’ market on Sunday races (stick horse/critter/creature, 3-legged, sack) or tug-of-war - View the exhibits, participate in a variety of Make & Take activities, learn all about farm animals, life on the ranch and the wildlife around us. - Participate in competitions (sign up on the spot) – pie eating, watermelon eating, Bid on a quilt or pie - Cheer on your favourite antique tractor at the tractor pull competition. - What is blacksmithing all about? Why do roosters crow? Have you ever felt under the feathers of an owl or held an eagle on your arm? How do you teach a horse to do tricks? Find out at the Fair! Exhibitors: - Register and exhibit your skills in Arts & Handicrafts, Fibre Arts, Home Cooking & Baking, Horticulture, Photography and Woodworking. - Bring your horse and ride in any of the English, Western and Gymkhana Horse shows or compete in the Horse Costume event. - Show your Cattle, Poultry and Sheep. Volunteers: People who volunteer their time, talent and energy should do so because it is fun.
