  • Annual City Wide Yard Sale

    The city says the event is presented by independent non-profit, Morro Bay Beautiful. Morro Bay Beautiful was founded in 1981, with the simple goal of keeping Morro Bay clean and beautiful. The city says there will be sales on almost every street in Morro Bay from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shoppers are also encouraged to use the Yard Sale Treasure Map app on a smartphone. The city says the map is easy to use and will give shoppers the advantage to plan their routes.

  • Morro Bay Kite Festival

    -

    Join us for a fun-filled weekend of kite-flying in beautiful Morro Bay! Throughout the weekend, there will be team flyers with 2 and 4-line kites, as well as several large kites flying all day. Don't miss the candy drops on Saturday and Sunday at 1pm and 3pm to get your hands on some sweet treats while you fly your kite! All activities are weather permitting.

  • Morro Bay Car Show

    During the first weekend in May of each year, the focus continues to be on the cars Owners line up to register at the Ocean View Garage on Thursday night; cruise the Boulevard on Friday night; park to be admired by visitors from throughout SLO County Saturday & Sunday; and topped of with car owners honored at an awards presentation ceremony. The result is a family-fun three-day event that draws over 500 registrants from California and beyond, benefits local business owners, and has enabled the organization to make donations to various community service organizations. Truly a collaboration with, and for, the Morro Bay community.
