Patoka Pines Campground Policies

Policies subject to change without notice

GUEST DAMAGE POLICY

Guests are responsible for any damage and repair caused ON Patoka Pines Property. The guest agrees to pay for all damages incurred during the stay. Guests acknowledge this policy when agreeing to terms and conditions. 

Dog Owners: Our insurance does not cover aggressive breeds; therefore, we cannot have certain breeds in the park. 

Guests violating rules that result in an eviction will not receive any refunds for their stay.

Check In / Check Out

·       Check in is from 2 – 8PM EST / Check out time is 12PM EST.

Early check-in is not permitted. The guests who paid for the site the night before paid for their site until noon. We will not ask a guest to leave so that you can check in early. If you are arriving in the area early, please make plans until your site opens at 2PM. We do not have a waiting area for those checking in early.

Late check-ins after 9PM must make arrangement with the office and will incur a fee of $25

Upon check-in, you may be asked to provide a valid ID, a certificate of insurance, and registration for your RV. Minimum Check-in age is 18 years.

You do not need to contact the office to check out.

Site Occupancy

Maximum guest per site is 4 adults & 4 children.

Site Changes

Your Site # is subject to change prior to arrival unless a site lock fee is paid during the time of booking. You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.

Pet Policies- $10.00 per pet 

Limit 2 pets per campsite. All Pets must be on registered. We reserve the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds. Pets must always be on a leash. Leash must be 10 feet or less. DO NOT WALK PET INTO OTHER CAMPERS YARDS. Park is not responsible for and will hold accountable pet owner for any injury or damage caused by pet(s).

·       Shower House

Pets are not allowed in the Shower House. County code laws do not allow pets in our buildings. Please do not tie your pet to our trees, doors, or posts. Only service animals may accompany a disabled person without any proof of disability or certification for the service animal.

·       Cleaning Up After Your Pet

Be a good neighbor and please clean up after your pet always. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites please. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund.

·       Leaving Pets Unattended

Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pets’ well-being while you are away.

·       Pet Vaccinations

Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park. Please make sure your pet’s shots are up to date.

·       Barking

Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without a refund.

Parking

Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site, 2 vehicles per site and 1 boat unless noted. Please do not park on our grass. Ruts caused in your site due to additional vehicles will result in damage charges. No vehicles can block any portion of the roadway. Do not park in sites that you did not register for and do not park in Shower House parking spaces. Additional parking is available for $25. 

ATVS and Side by Sides

ATVs may not be used within the park. Golf Carts may be used in the park during daylight hours and at walking speed only. 

RV’s

·      Repairs / Maintenance

Washing RVs, boats or vehicles is NOT permitted.

Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park. We are happy to recommend a local Mobile RV Repair service that comes to your site to assist you with any repairs.

·       Insurance

The Camper shall maintain liability, fire, wind and other hazard insurance coverage on their unit and personal property located on the Campsite. The insurance policy must provide coverage of the Camper’s acts or omissions related to the Campground and Campsite. Camper must have liability insurance on all motor vehicles operated on the Campground, including golf carts and other vehicles which are not licensed for use on public roads.

·       Appearance

All Motorhomes, RVs or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance. We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.

Quiet Time Policies

The quiet time is 11 PM to 7 AM. Anyone disrupting quiet time will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.

Behavior

Obnoxious behavior of ANY kind is PROHIBITED. Excessive noise, public drunkenness, illegal drug use, nudity, foul or offensive language, loud music, yelling, or parties will not be tolerated. Guests will receive a warning and if their behavior continues, guests will be asked to leave without a refund.

Alcohol / Marijuana

We have zero tolerance for alcohol and drug related problems. At no time is disruptive or abusive behavior acceptable. The campground will have anyone removed from the property for bad behavior, including registered campers and visitors. Alcohol is to be kept at your campsite, it’s not allowed in or around the shower house or any other common area. Marijuana is illegal in the state of Indiana and is prohibited at Patoka Pines.

Open Fires

Fire rings are provided at each campsite. Fire must be contained in the fire ring and always attended. If you start a new one or move a fire pit, you will be asked to leave. You must check on fire daily/nightly and make sure it is extinguished prior to departing for the day/night. Parents / Caregivers are fully responsible for the behavior and safety of their children while a fire is burning. Please do not leave trash in the fire ring.

Sites

No tent camping is allowed. Do not move the picnic table from the concrete patio. Storage is not allowed under or around your RV or picnic table. No Rugs are allowed on the grass as it will kill it. Blowup mattresses, sleeping bags and cots are not allowed outside. Guests may not hang any items from the trees. All sites are to be kept neat and clean for the duration of your stay.

Visitors

Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. Please check with the office before inviting any visitors. All visitors must stop in the office to register. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed. Visitors may not bring pets. Patoka Pines RV Park reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting a site. Visitors are welcome at guest sites between the hours of 9AM – 10PM EST.

Electrical Use

You are responsible for understanding how many amps your RV is using. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay. Please notify the office so that we can notify you of maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals by insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless you are hired to do so.

Shower House

No Smoking Facility

For the comfort of all our guests, shower houses are open 24/7 except for a temporary closing for cleaning once per day. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean, please. Guests under the age of 18 need adult supervision in the shower house.

Trash Disposal

A dumpster is available on the north-east side of the park. Please tie trash bags completely closed before putting your trash in the dumpster. Please do not place your trash on the ground. Woodland creatures like possums and raccoons are attracted to left food and trash. Do not dispose of wires, oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in the dumpster. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees.

Children

Children under 18 must be always supervised by an adult. Riding bicycles without a parent and on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests. Anyone under the age of 18 must be back at their site by dusk. Children may not use the shower house without being accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Drones

Drones or other remote-controlled machines are not permitted in our park. Please do not fly drones over people or RVs. There are several local parks where drones are permitted for your enjoyment.

Safety and Emergencies

If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call (812) 203 – 2725 24 hours a day. We adhere to and maintain all state, county, and local laws on property.

(No solicitation is allowed.)

If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so the maintenance staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.

Severe Weather

In case of severe weather, seek shelter in the Shower House. We love pets, so please bring them with you and please do not leave them in your RV during severe weather warnings. This will be the only time a pet is allowed in the shower house other than a service animal.

Fireworks and Firearms

Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibiting firearms include all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. The use of archery, paintball, or slingshots is PROHIBITED. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

Security

The park is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle. Keep your valuables locked up. Report any problems with your site to the Main Office immediately. Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children and/or pets.  Guest assumes all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to Patoka Pines harmless from and indemnify park against the same.

Liability

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not suing Patoka Pines for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Patoka Pines from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Patoka Pines may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Property. Guests further agree to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. Patoka Pines reserves the right to remove any guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program. Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control. Patoka Pines or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property, or thing howsoever caused.  The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any cause.
