Peachland RV Park  & Storage - Terms & Conditions Agreement (T&C)

WELCOME TO PEACHLAND RV PARK AND STORAGE!


We’re excited to have you as our guest and look forward to your stay.  To help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, we ask that you carefully review our Terms & Conditions, and Waiver before your reservation is fully completed.

For online bookings, you were asked to acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions ad review the Waiver by checking the box before completing your reservation.   If you chose to book by phone, we reviewed the cancellation policy with you directly to ensure full understanding before taking your payment and you've now received an email with the Terms & Conditions, & Waiver which you’ll need to sign before final confirmation of your reservation.

Every Member of your group, visitor, and parent or guardian of all children must sign and accept liability on this Waiver before entry of Peachland RV Park Ltd.

HOURS OF OPERATIONS: 

Summer Office:        8:00 am – 8:00 pm

Winter Office:            8:00 am – 4:00 pm

 

Seasonal Reg & Activity Office: Opens April – October – 11:00 am – 6:00 pm (check in and rentals)

 

Washhouse/Laundry – Summer – 24 Hours

  • Winter – 9:00 am – 9:00 pm

CANCELLATION POLICY

For stays of 27 days or less:

  1. 72+ hours before stay:
    • Fee: $100 | Refund: Remaining balance to card.
    • OR/ Camp credit option (valid 1 year, Forfeited) with $20 admin fee.
  2. Less than 72 hours before stay:
    • Fee: $100 minimum | Refund: 50% of payment.

For stays of 28+ days:

  • Same conditions as above, but $250 fee.

No refunds/credits for early departures, and no shows will be considered forfeited.

 

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  1. Speed Limit: 10 kph, and failing to stop.  Pedestrians, children, and pets have the right of way. Registered Guest are responsible for guests, visitors and/or invitees for infractions and charged to the credit card on file.  (fees apply)
  2. Visitors: Allowed 8 AM–10 PM. Overnight visitors must register (fees apply).
  3. Wildlife Awareness: Do not leave garbage, food, or pet food outside at all times.
  4. Fire Safety: No open fires. Pit fires only(provided),  CSA-approved propane pits/grills only.  Firewood is available for purchase and may not be brought in or taken from the property as this will result in a $100 fine.
  5. RV & Vehicle Limits: 1 RV, 2 licensed vehicles, and 2 adults per site. Additional items (boats, trailers, etc.) allowed with approval (fees may apply).
  6. Electricity Usage: 20 kWh/day included for short-term stays; overages billed at $0.20/kWh.
  7. EV Charging allowed by approval,  will be metered at a rate of $0.56/kWh (kilowatt-hour).  Peachland will monitor usage  & charge according to the energy consumed during charging and all responsibility is on the guest and no responsibility on the campground.   Failure to notify office will result in a $200 charge.
  8. Proper Hookups:  Guests are responsible for ensuring they have proper connections  electrical, sewage and water hookups.  Guests are responsible for all damages to park infrastructure resulting in their actions.
  9. Management reserves the right to have the guests RV removed from Peachland RV Park at the guests expense for failure to comply with our terms and conditions or TLOA.  This agreement is on a day to day basis being a campground only and may be terminated on a moments notice.  No refund will be received for their stay.
  10. We have the right to refuse access to any guest whose vehicle is deemed by management to be unacceptable.

WASTE & RECYCLING

  1. Recycling: Use bins LEFT BIN for cardboard only; bottles go in black barrels which is recycle for bottle depot, . All other household trash to be put in the blue RIGHT dumpster however any other garbage that is NOT CONISERDED HOUSEHOLD must be taken to the dump. (FINES APPLY)  video surveillance.
  2. Waste Disposal: Domestic sewage only. No chemicals, grease, or non-biodegradable items. Use non-powered soap for laundry and dishwashing. HE (high efficiency liquid laundry soap please)
  3. Please do not use your firepits as garbage as this results in site clean up fee ($150)
  4. Propane cylinders  including SMALL GREEN ONES ARE NOT ALLOWED to be disposed of on site!

StORAGE & SITE FEES:

  1. Guest must fill out a storage agreement form at the office
  2. Late fees are charged out at $15/day.  
  3. Peachland RV Park Ltd. acts on the 1996 Warehouse Lien Act

CHILDREN

  1. Must not be left unattended at any time.
  2. Parents are responsible for supervision, behavior, and any damages.
  3. Swimming pools/hot tubs are prohibited. Check with management for other water activities.

PET POLICY

  1. Maximum of 2 pets per site.  Pets must be leashed (6 ft. max) and under control. Outdoor fencing requires management approval.
  2. Owners must clean up after pets. Failure results in fines ($150). (OFF Leash as well)
  3. Pets are prohibited in buildings, playgrounds, Laundry and recreational areas.  Dog runs are available.  Please follow posted rules.

SITE APPEARANCE

  1. Sites must be kept clean and tidy with no clutter.  Personal items can not be stored outside RV.
  2. Dispose of household garbage in the designated dumpster. Non-household items will incur charges.
  3. Sites must be clean upon departure, or a $150 cleaning fee applies.

PROHIBITED ITEMS & ACTIONS

Violations may result in eviction or a $150 fine:

  1. Harassment, profanity, or violence toward staff or guests (in person or online).
  2. Vandalism or obnoxious behavior.
  3. Firearms, fireworks, Charcoal grills.
  4. Mechanical repairs, oil changes, or washing of vehicles or RVs.
  5. Selling, soliciting, or running a business on site.

    • No Pets Allowed
    • Please refrain from washing pet blankets and work clothes
    • If you are having issues please call the office and we will assist you 778-740-9800
    • Machines and showers require loonies ($1) available at the office during office hours

 

  • Storage:
    • Gated indoor/outdoor storage with 24-hour surveillance.
    • 24 Hour On site Manager Surveillance.
    • Best Prices Around Open and Closed Storage

 

  • Firewood:  
    • Available for purchase. Text the office with your site number and amount needed.
    • During office hours.
    • No outside wood or collecting wood from our property as $200 fine in effect.
    • Please watch for fire bans as we are in a wildfire corridor.

 

LIABILITY

  1. Peachland RV Park is not liable for loss, damage, or injury to guests or their property and as per Peachland RV Park’s Liability Waiver form that is required to be signed before entry.
  2. Guests are responsible for any damages or injuries caused by themselves, their children, or pets.
  3. Guests further agrees that all other park property including but not limited to parking and other common areas, laundry and recreational areas and facilities shall be used at the guest own risk his family guest without recourse against Peachland investments Ltd. and or Peachland RV Park Ltd. or its employees.

EXTENDED VACATION TERM (OVER 28 DAYS)

  1. Guests must vacate the park for at least 1 day every 28 days (RV does not need to move).
  2. Guests are responsible for clean and tidy, including raking, weeding, and snow removal with a shovel only.  Damages to curb stops caused by snowblades or quads will be billed to the guest.
  3. Rates include 1 RV, 2 licensed vehicles, and 2 adults.  Additional fees apply for extra guests (max. 3), vehicles, or pets (max. 2).
  4. Electricity is not included. Guests should register with BC Hydro or will be billed $0.20/kWh. Invoice paid upon receipt.
  5. Temporary improvements (e.g., decks, skirting) require written approval.
  6. Late payments for site fees are charge out immediately at $20/day.
  7. All extended vacationers must sign a Temporary Licence to Occupy and understand that the site is temporary, seasonal, recreational and vacation purposes only and Park User acknowledges having a permanent residence outside Peachland RV Park

WINTERIZING

  1. Approved skirting (no plywood or Styrofoam or PINK INSULATION) allowed Oct. 15–April 1.
  2. Guests must install quality heat tape on water lines from RV to the shutoff valve and 6inches into the ground on water.  Frozen water line repairs caused by improper heat tape will be billed to the guest.  Heat tape for sewer lines is also recommended.   We also provide a winter package instructions.
  3. Snow removal is available for $25/removal or $400/season.  Seasonal must be paid in full by November 1.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS AGREEMENT BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, YOU WILL WAIVE CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE OR CLAIM COMPENSATION

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

Please be advised that before entering our RV park, all guests are required to sign a liability waiver. By

signing this agreement, you are releasing PEACHLAND RV PARK LTD. its affiliates and their respective

directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, contractors, and assigns from any claims, damages, or injuries that may occur during your stay or participation in activities offered at our park.

DEFINITIONS:

1. “Activities” shall mean, without limitation, all activities in any way associated with or related to water sports, recreational vehicle camping, hiking and any recreational activities offered by PEACHLAND RV PARK LTD., including training and instruction, as well as but not limited to the use of play structures, picnic areas, fields, sports fields, parks, trails, walking paths, roads, grounds, parking lots, storage areas, laundry facilities, washroom facilities, dog parks and all other park facilities.

2. “Property” shall mean, without limitation, any premises, lands, buildings, facilities, play structures, fields, sports fields, swimming pools, parks, trails, walking paths, roads, grounds, parking lots and equipment owned or leased by PEACHLAND RV PARK LTD.

3. “RESORT USER” shall mean all adults, children, wards, and guests of the registered parties group The

definition of Resort User shall include any references to “I”, “Me”, “They”. All members of a group are included in the definition of RESORT USER. Each adult member shall agree to and sign the agreement.

Parents/Guardians of minors shall execute this agreement on behalf of the minor.

In consideration of PEACHLAND RV PARK LTD., a British Columbia Corporation (the “Company”) permitting the RESORT USER to enter into the Property and/or participate in any Activities and for other good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is herby acknowledged, the RESORT USER agrees to all the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement (this “Agreement”) as follows:

1. THE RESORT USER IS AWARE AND UNDERSTANDS THAT ENTRANCE TO THE PROPERTY AND

PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITIES INVOLVE MANY RISKS, DANGERS, AND HAZARDS, INCLUDING

BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. THE

RESORT USER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THEY ARE VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATING IN THE

ACTIVITIES. THE RESORT USER FREELY ACCEPTS AND FULLY ASSUMES ANY AND ALL OF THE

RISKS, DANGERS, AND HAZARDS INVOLVED AND THE POSSIBILITY OF INJURY, DEATH, OR

PROPERTY DAMAGE, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE COMPANY OR

OTHERWISE.                                                                                                                                                                                   

2. The RESORT USER WAIVES ANY AND ALL CLAIMS which the RESORT USER has or may have in the

future against the Company, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents,

representatives, shareholders, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”), on account of injury,

death, or property damage arising out of or attributable to the presence of the RESORT USER on the Property

or their participation in the Activities, due to any cause whatsoever, including without limitation the negligence of the Company or any other Releasee, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty of care owing under occupiers’ liability legislation or otherwise including liability legislation on the part of the Company, other participants, or anyone else. The RESORT USER covenants not to make or bring any such claim against the Company or any other Releasee, or anyone else and forever release and discharge the Company and all other Releasees from liability under such claims.

3. The RESORT USER agrees that they SHALL DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE

COMPANY AND ALL OTHER RELEASEES AGAINST ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES,     PG 2 of 2

DEFICIENCIES, CLAIMS, ACTIONS, JUDGMENTS, SETTLEMENTS, INTEREST, AWARDS, PENALTIES,

FINES, COSTS, OR EXPENSES OF WHATEVER KIND, INCLUDING REASONABLE LEGAL FEES, IN

CONNECTION WITH ANY THIRD-PARTY CLAIM, SUIT, ACTION, OR PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF

OR RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE PROPOERTY OR PARTICIPATION IN ACTIVITIES.

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement of the Company and the RESORT USER with respect to the

subject matter contained herein and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to such subject matter. If any term or provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect any other term or provision of this Agreement or invalidate or render unenforceable such term or provision in any other jurisdiction. This Agreement is binding on and shall ensure to the benefit of me and my heirs and next-of-kin, and the Company and its successors and assigns. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia of and the federal laws of the Dominion of Canada applicable therein. Any claim or cause of action arising under this Agreement may be brought

only in the courts of the Province of British Columbia and I hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

THE RESORT USER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THEY HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD ALL OF THE

TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND THAT THEY ARE VOLUNTARILY WAIVING SUBSTANTIAL

LEGAL RIGHTS (ON THEIR BEHALF AND ON BEHALF OF THEIR HEIRS, EXECUTORS,

ADMINISTRATORS, AND NEXT-OF-KIN), INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE THE COMPANY AND

THE RELEASEES.
