RULES / FAQ / SIGNATURE REQUIRED
You must acknowledge and agree (signature required below) to abide by the Terms and Conditions by signing below, which including all park rules of Point of Rocks RV Campground located in Prescott, Arizona. It is your responsibility to review and understand all park rules, notices, and amenities offered. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, miscommunication or cancellation of your reservation without refund.
RESERVATIONS REQUIRED
Reservations must be made online. Rates, availability and campsite information are provided during the reservation process. The RV must be well maintained and in excellent overall condition. Full payment is required on daily and monthly stays. Ensure that your reservation covers your entire stay. If availability is unavailable or limited, use multiple campsites to cover your entire stay or try alternate dates. Office and online availability is the same. No campsites available? Submit a waitlist request.
CANCELLATION AND CHANGE POLICY
Reservation modifications or cancellations must be requested four (4) days "prior to the scheduled arrival date" in order to receive a full refund, less a non-refundable booking fee. If notice is provided less than four (4) days before the arrival date, a cancellation fee equal to a one-night stay plus the booking fee will be applied and is non-refundable. No-show reservations are non-refundable for all missed nights, the date of notification, and the booking fee. No refunds will be issued for leaving early after the scheduled arrival date unless formal notice of early departure is received. Early departures are still subject to the four (4) days notice requirement. You can also submit a change, extension or cancellation request anytime, day or night, using our handy Online Request Form.
PROPER RV SIZE
When making a reservation, use the full length of the RV only; do not include the tow vehicle. Please note that all sites have a minimum and maximum size requirement that must be met while booking a reservation. It’s crucial to accurately represent the size of your RV, as you may be required to relocate to a suitable campsite that adheres to the size limits of your vehicle.
BOOKING FEE
Reservations made online will be charged a non-refundable booking fee. If booking multiple campsites, the booking fee is applied per campsite. Reservations made In-Person / Over the Phone will have an additional $10 added to the non-refundable booking fee.
LOCK FEE EXPLAINED
Your site "type" is guaranteed, but the location (campsite) can change to maximize occupancy. To secure a "specific site", choose the $15 lock fee option during booking. Unlocked sites are assigned upon arrival and will not appear on confirmation email. You can lock your site later via our Request Form.
BOOKING 2026?
2025 open now. Reservations for the first quarter of 2026 (January to March) will open on October 1, 2025 at 7:00 A.M. The remaining months (April to December) will open on January 1, 2026, at 7:00 A.M.

HOLIDAYS HOURS
A 3-night minimum stay is required on all major holidays. CLOSED on New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Additionally, we CLOSE EARLY, 1 P.M. on Memorial Day, July 4th, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
RV RENTAL
RV rental users (Outdoorsy or RVshare) are responsible for damage during delivery/pickup. Delivery must be after 1:00 P.M., and pickup by 11:30 A.M. Late removals after 11:30 AM incur a daily rate.
DISCOUNTS?
No other discounts are available except those advertised in our promotional videos. Our limited-time videos on Instagram (watch until the end for the promo code) give special discounts on our daily campsites from Sunday to Thursday. You must be a follower to redeem these promo codes. New videos are released monthly, so follow us for new promo codes. Also, check us out on YouTube!
CHECK-IN 1:00 P.M. (Enforced)
Check-in is after 1:00 P.M. due to safety, maintenance, and check-outs. Early check-ins are not allowed. No waiting area or overflow parking. Arriving early will result in being turned away.
CHECK-IN PROCESS
A personalized reservation packet with your last name will be posted on our blackboard outside the office. It will include directions to your assigned campsite, park information, and passcodes. Since we don’t have an entry gate, you can arrive anytime after 1:00 P.M.
CHECK-OUT BY 11:30 AM
Check-out is 11:30 A.M. No late check-outs. Remove all items and trash to avoid a disposal fee. No office check-out process unless you are returning borrowed items.
RV's TYPES ALLOWED
We welcome motorhomes (class A, B, and C), travel trailers, truck campers, pop-up trailers, fifth wheels and self-contained vans. We have secured bathrooms with showers, but unfortunately, we don’t have a dish cleaning station. We strictly prohibit camping in tents, cars, standard vans, tiny homes, and cargo trailers.
KNOW YOUR RIG
Before booking, please verify the correct length, number of slide-outs, and power requirements (30 or 50 AMP) of your RV. It’s your responsibility to select an appropriate campsite that can accommodate your RV’s size and needs. If your RV doesn’t fit the site or requires more power than the available amperage, we may not have an alternative campsite available for you.
WHATS ON YOUR SITE?
All campsites are fully equipped with electric, sewer, and water connections, as well as a picnic table. Grills are not provided on the campsite, so please bring your own propane fire pit or charcoal/propane barbecue. Cable connections are not available. DONT HAVE OR ALLOW
No wood fires, smokers, or pellet stoves allowed. No dog park, propane fill, rec rooms, cable TV, fire rings, pool, or hot tub. No cabin or RV rentals. Campsites are dirt/gravel and do not offer views of Watson Lake due to the surrounding granite dells. There is no work camper or stay program. Wi-Fi, satellite reception, and cell phone coverage cannot be guaranteed.
NO MAINTENANCE
Washing RVs or vehicles is prohibited. Repair or maintenance to RVs and vehicles is not permitted. Visit our RV Services Page for contact information for local mobile RV techs, wash and other RV services.
LONG TERM / MONTHLY STAYS
Book a longer stay to discover all that Prescott offers. During the months of December, January and February we offer monthly stays between $800 - $900 per month. Electric is not included in pricing. Rates are determined by location and campsite size. Monthly campsites are pre-selected by management and available online. Reservations must be made online using entire months to obtain accurate pricing. For example, check-in on the 3rd and check-out on the 3rd. Monthly campsites have a maximum RV size of 36 feet. Any reservation for stays exceeding 27 days are considered long-term. Guests must adhere to the policies outlined below, including registration, RV age, and the duration of their stay.
RVs must be less than 14 years old, in pristine condition, free from any damage, and in working condition. Appearances does not waive this policy. Maximum stay is 3 months. No permanent stays. We follow the 3 month in and 3 month out policy before booking again. Registration (Prescott's Assessors Office), sent via email, must be completed within 72 hours or the reservation is canceled without refund. Inoperable or unlicensed vehicles are not permitted in the park. Vehicles must show signs of regular use and kept clean. Valid insurance and DMV registration are required at check-in.
The RV owner must occupy it. Only onboard propane tanks allowed. Oversize propane tanks are not allowed on property. Fifth wheels and trailers need a tow vehicle on-site and can't be delivered. No RV skirting. Surge protectors required. For winter months, only 4-season RVs.
GROUP RESERVATION
Group reservations must be made online by selecting multiple sites under one profile or individually. To book as a group, add sites to your cart and lock them to stay together. No discounts; full payment is required at booking. Cancellations must be made 14 days prior to your arrival date. Guests should contact their group leader for site locations.
PARKING
Each reservation allows only one RV and one vehicle, no exceptions. Overnight parking is not available elsewhere. NEVER have visiting guests park on the road or in empty campsites. Guest parking for day use only is located next to the restrooms, as indicated in your reservation packet/map. Parking overnight in day-use areas or empty campsites will result in towing at the owner’s expense.
MOVING SITES?
If you decide to extend or complete your reservation by moving campsites, please ensure that you move by 11:30 A.M. to avoid any inconvenience to other campers. Plan your activities accordingly to accommodate this requirement.
CAMPSITE USE
Only minimal camping items are allowed outside your RV. Screened tents for insect protection are permitted. The following items are strictly prohibited beneath, behind, or outside of your RV: appliances, storage bins, tools, firewood, oversized propane tanks, RV skirting, clotheslines or drying racks, bird feeders, pools/spas, decks, trampolines, tool sheds, tarps, or any other unsightly items. Campsites must remain clearly visible to staff at all times. Do not hang anything on trees, paint or disturb rocks. Keep cap lights or floodlights off. Please respect others’ space, do not enter or pass through campsites that are prepared for upcoming guests.
QUIET TIME
Quiet hours are from 10:00 P.M. to 8:00 A.M. During these hours, excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or external lighting is strictly prohibited. Guests who depart or arrive during these hours must strictly adhere to this policy. Please note that Point of Rocks RV Campground is not responsible for any noise produced by city events at Watson Lake Park.
EXTERIOR LIGHTING
After 10PM, any light bulb used on the exterior of an RV may only be a maximum of sixty watts or LED 6-8 and only aimed at the RV patio side. Any outside lights on a rig (front cap, back and sewer side) must be turned off.
WI-FI & EXPECTATIONS
Complimentary Wi-Fi is for browsing and email only. No video streaming, gaming, or work use. Bring a hotspot if needed. Excessive use may restrict your device. Wi-Fi is not a guaranteed service and no refunds are offered for reception issues.
ELECTRICAL USE
Understand your RV’s AMP usage (30/50) to avoid tripping breakers. If a breaker trips repeatedly, stop using the power and notify the office. For safety and insurance reasons, guests may not diagnose electrical pedestals.
FIRES / BARBECUE
Campsites don’t provide fire pits or grills. Wood fires and pellet smokers are strictly prohibited. However, propane fire pits and self-contained charcoal or propane grills are permitted. These must always be supervised. Never bring in or leave behind firewood.
LAUNDRY HOURS & POLICY
For your convenience, we have an on-site laundry facility. Before the office closes at 4 PM, please visit us for quarters ($10 rolls sold only).The last load must be started no later than 5:00 PM. The facility closes promptly at 7:00 PM. Our laundry hours are Monday through Sunday, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Use only 2 machines at one time. Never wash rugs, pet items and stay with your clothes.
KIDS SUPERVISION
Children under 16 must be supervised off-site. Adults must accompany them in facilities (office and laundry). The picnic area is not a playground or dog park.
NO EV CHARGING
DO NOT charge EVs at our pedestals—they are not designed for continuous loads and could permanently damage your vehicle and the campground’s electrical system. Violations cancel your reservation, and damages are charged to the guest. The campground is not liable for EV damage.
VIOLENCE & CONDUCT
Harassment or intimidation of other guests, visitors or employees is not accepted and is cause for immediate termination of your reservation without refund. Conduct of loud parties, intoxication, discharge of any weapons or fireworks on the premises will result in immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
TEXT MESSAGING
We will contact you regarding any campground emergencies, outages, reservation alerts or policy reminders. Text messaging is only active while you’re staying at the campground. Park and city emergency outages can occur without notice.
DRONE PILOTS
Commercial and recreational drone pilots are strictly prohibited from flying over Point of Rocks RV Campground, which is situated less than 8 miles from an airport. For advertising purposes, the only flights permitted are those conducted by the park owner, who holds a commercial aviation license.
MAIL DELIVERY
As a courtsey, we allow mail and small packages but not oversized items or registered mail. Pickup is required upon delivery. Packages not addressed as shown below will be refused. We are not responsible for lost mail or package. Never submit a permanent address change. Address packages as follows:

TRASH DISPOSAL
Place all garbage in designated dumpsters. The locations are indicated on the park map. All trash must be bagged and tied/sealed before being placed in the dumpster. All boxes must be broken down. Dumping large items such as furniture, mattresses, appliances, large landscape trimmings, etc. is prohibited and subject to a disposal fee. Items left behind on your campsite are subject to a disposal / clean-up fee.
FIREWORKS & FIREARMS
Fireworks are strictly prohibited, and all firearms must be securely stored in a case and can only be transported between your RV and vehicle. Firearms are not permitted within the campground.
SMOKING
No smoking in the office, patios, or bathrooms. Dispose of cigarette butts properly – NEVER ON THE GROUND.
BORROWED ITEMS
We provide our customers with the privilege of borrowing certain items at no cost, but fees apply for losses. DVDs: $10 each if not returned by departure. Disc golf discs: $10 each, $40 per bag. Bocce balls: $10 each, $40 per set.
PET POLICY & FEE (maximum 2 pets)
A $2 per pet fee applies (max 2 pets). Follow all pet rules or risk reservation cancellation. No dog park. Service animals allowed; emotional support animals are not service animals. Restricted breeds: Chow, Doberman, Rottweiler, Pit Bull types. Pets must have proof of rabies vaccination. Point of Rocks RV Campground has the sole discretion to exclude any pet. The basis for exclusion may include but is not limited to the following: breed-specific exclusions, pet is sick, aggressive, vicious, noisy, dangerous, or potentially dangerous, requires muzzling, or is easily frightened or sensitive, resulting in disruptive behavior (such as fighting or biting) in response to a stimulus.
Dogs must always be on a maximum 6-ft non-retractable leash and always supervised. Fenced pets require that the owner be present. Clean up waste immediately; free waste bags at sites 56B, 96, and 19 and throughout our trail system. No pets in laundry, restrooms, or office.
Assumption of Risk & Release: I understand that having my pet at the campground is a privilege, not a contractual right, and that this privilege depends on my full compliance with all pet policies and campground rules. I acknowledge that the campground may revoke this privilege at any time for any reason.
I assume all risks, injuries, damages, or harm that may occur due to my pet’s presence at the campground, whether caused by my pet or occurring to my pet. I fully release the campground, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from my pet’s actions or presence. I also agree to indemnify the campground for any claims, expenses, or legal fees resulting from incidents involving my pet.
Additionally, any instance of aggression from my pet, including physical contact with other guests, pets, or campground staff, will be reported to Animal Control. Such incidents will lead to the immediate cancellation of my reservation without a refund and may result in a ban on future stays.
VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES
On behalf of everyone in my party, I give Point of Rocks RV Campground, its affiliates, and promotional partners permission to use any photographs, videos, or other visual representations of registered guests, visiting guests, our RV, or our campsite in any media format and for any purpose.
POLICY VIOLATIONS
Point of Rocks RV Campground reserves the right to require any guest or party to vacate the premises if they violate campground rules or engage in behavior that is inappropriate, disruptive, or disturbing to others without refund. Harassment, mistreatment, or any form of disrespect toward staff or fellow guests will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
PROPERTY DAMAGE
Guests are financially responsible for any damage to campground property, whether caused intentionally or accidentally. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to sites, utilities, landscaping, facilities, or any other campground assets.
Any willful destruction, defacement, or vandalism of campground property will result in immediate eviction from the premises without a refund. In addition, such actions may lead to legal consequences, including prosecution and liability for repair or replacement costs. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe, respectful, and well-kept environment for all guests.
BACKGROUND CHECK
Guests staying 28 days or longer are subject to a background check. Individuals with a felony record or those listed as registered sex offenders are prohibited from staying at the campground. If it is discovered during a guest’s stay that an occupant has a felony record or is a registered sex offender, management reserves the right to revoke the reservation immediately without a refund and require the individual(s) to leave the premises. Failure to comply will result in law enforcement intervention.
PARKING ASSISTANCE
We do not offer parking assistance due to liability reasons. If a guest requires assistance from an employee of Point of Rocks RV Campground, the guest acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for ensuring their RV/trailer fits the site and does not encounter obstacles such as branches, rocks, or trees. The guest agrees to indemnify and hold Point of Rocks RV Campground, its owners, and agents harmless from any loss, liability, damage, or costs (including attorney fees) arising from such assistance. The guest also releases and waives any claims against the campground, its owners, employee, for damages resulting from an employee assisting with parking.
RESERVATION PAYMENT
The guest remains personally liable for the full payment of their reservation by the scheduled check-in date or any earlier date specified. If payment is not received in full, Point of Rocks RV Campground is authorized to charge any outstanding balance, electric usage (monthly reservations), including damage charges or other owed amounts, to any credit or debit card on file.
GUEST AGREEMENT & LIABILITY WAIVER
Guest acknowledges and agrees to waive, release, discharge, and covenant not to sue Point of Rocks RV Campground, its owners, and agents for any claims or liability arising from personal injury, accidents, property damage, or any other claims related to the use of the property. This includes, but is not limited to, injury (including death) or damage resulting from the use and occupancy of the campground, its facilities, and amenities, as well as hazards associated with natural conditions such as changing weather, high winds, lightning, temperature fluctuations, falling trees or branches, ice, or encounters with wildlife or owner pets.
The Guest further assumes full responsibility for the actions and safety of all members of their group. Point of Rocks RV Campground reserves the right to remove any guest subject to a lifetime registration under a state sexual offender program.
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to the Terms & Conditions, as well as the Animal Waiver. I fully accept responsibility for complying with all campground rules and policies and ensuring that my guests and invitees do the same. I understand that failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the cancellation of my reservation and removal from the campground without a refund. My agreement to these terms is entirely voluntary, and I recognize the importance of following all policies to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. I accept full responsibility for my actions, as well as the actions of all members of my party, including children and any visitors during my stay.
