POLICIES

  • The following rules and policies have been established to ensure you and your loved ones have a safe, enjoyable, and comfortable experience with us here at  Prairie Junction RV Resort. 

Reservation, Check-in, and Rates Information

Prairie Junction RV Resort is open year-round, welcoming all types of campers, including motorhomes, fifth-wheels, travel trailers, campers, tents, and those seeking a getaway in our private cabins.

Location & Amenities:

  • Enjoy the beauty of the prairie on 6.75 acres of land, complete with:
    • Full Wi-Fi
    • Full-service lots
    • Fire pits
    • Laundromat
    • Men's and women's showerhouses/restrooms
    • Event Centre (available by reservation)
  • Prairie Junction RV Resort is conveniently located in the heart of Stettler, just steps away from downtown with nearby restaurants, shopping, and amenities for you to enjoy

Check-in and Check-out Process 

Check-in Time:

  • 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Early Check-in: Not available. Our sites need to be cleaned and prepared for your arrival.
  • Guests must check in at the office to:
    • Confirm the booker’s identity
    • Sign the Terms and Conditions (if not already done online through CampSpot)
    • Account for all guests and pets
    • Receive Shower House and Laundromat cards
  • Late Check-in: Guests arriving after 9:00 PM must communicate with the RV Camp Manager in advance to arrange check-in.

Quiet Hours:

  • 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Check-out Time:

  • 11:00 AM
  • Late Check-out: A $10.00 per hour fee applies after 11:00 AM.
  • Full Day Fee: Check-outs after 2:00 PM will incur a full day rate fee.
  • Guest Responsibilities:
    • Clean your site and remove any garbage, leave it as you found it.
    • Double check your site for personal belongings.
    • Report any maintenance issues to the Campground Manager.

Damaged Site Policy

Guests may be subject to repair or replacement fees for :

  • Plug/electricity damage
  • Hydrant damage
  • Sewer damage
  • Sod replacement
  • Tree replacement
  • Picnic table replacement
  • Losing access cards
  • Damaging washers,dryers, or showers
  • Damaging or losing adapters

Reservation Availability

  • If you do not have a reservation upon arrival, we may not be able to accommodate you, but we will do our best to find a suitable spot based on availability.

Site Billing & Rates

  • Occupancy: Rates are based on a 4-person/site occupancy and vary by location (standard or premium) and season (low, medium, or high).
  • Rates for Additional Occupants: $5.00 per person, per day (regardless of season or location).

Seasonal Rates

  • Low Season: October 15 - April
  • Medium Season: May - June 15 & September 15 - October 15
  • High Season: June 15 - September 14
  • Rates are subject to change. Current pricing is reflected upon booking with campspot and upon request.

Minimum Stay Requirements

  • June 15 to September 14: A 2-night minimum stay is required for RV, tent, or cabin sites.
  • Long weekends: A 3-night minimum stay is required.
  • We understand unique situations and extenuating circumstances and will do our best to accommodate you.

Cancellation, Refund, Payment & Booking 

1. Reservation Changes (Revisions to Bookings)

  • Guests may request modifications to their reservation (e.g., rescheduling, changing site type) up to 7 days before the check-in date, subject to availability.
  • Less than 7 days before arrival: Reservation changes are not permitted. Only changes pertaining to changing site location may be permitted based on leftover spaces at the time.
  • Reservation changes must be made through CampSpot or by emailing pjrv@pjrvresort.com for assistance.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • More than 14 days before arrival: Full refund (minus a $8 non-refundable booking fee).
  • 8 to 14 days before arrival: 50% refund.
  • Less than 7 days before arrival: Non-refundable.
  • After arrival: No refunds will be issued for any reason.
  • Early departures: No refunds will be provided for early check-outs. Guests are responsible for all reserved nights unless modifications are made in accordance with this cancellation policy.
  • The $8 booking fee is Non-refundable.

3. How to Cancel

  • All cancellations must be made through CampSpot.
  • If you experience issues canceling through CampSpot, please email pjrv@pjrvresort.com, and we will do our best to assist you.

4. Payment Policy

  • We accept Mastercard, CapitalOne, Visa, cash, Interac, and e-transfers.
  • We do not accept:
    • Credit card information via email.
    • Personal or business cheques.

5. Booking Process

  • Reservations should be made online using CampSpot (via the website or mobile app) whenever possible.
  • Phone assistance for reservations may be available in special cases, but all bookings must be completed through CampSpot.

6. No-Show Policy

  • Guests who fail to check in by 11:00 PM on their scheduled arrival date without prior notification will be considered a no-show.
  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows.

7. Severe Weather & Special Considerations

  • Prairie Junction RV Park operates year-round, and refunds will not be issued due to unfavorable weather unless the park is officially closed.
  • Refund requests for medical emergencies, road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis at management’s discretion. Supporting documentation may be required.

8.  Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method

Reservations wherever possible should be made online using CampSpot either online or via Mobile APP. We can on occasion assist with reservations over the phone to be made online.  

 

RV, Tent, and Camping Information: Amenities,Rates,  Bathroom/ShowerHouse and Laundromat

Booking Details:

  • Weekdays (Monday-Thursday): Minimum 1-day rental
  • Weekends: Minimum 2-day rental
  • Long Weekends: Minimum 3-day rental
  • Deposits: Full deposit required at time of booking, subject to cancellation policy

RV Sites:
Prairie Junction RV Resort offers 53 RV sites, with the following features:

  • 51 full-service sites with 15/30/50 amp power supply
  • 2 sites with electric hookups for vehicles without sewer connections
  • Back-in and pull-through options available
  • Each site includes:
    • RV parking and additional vehicle parking space
    • Access to potable town water via an individual hydrant
    • Drainage sewer
    • Firepit, picnic table, and Wi-Fi access

Winter Camping:

  • Winter RV camping is available, but guests must come prepared with winter ready items.
  • A heated water hose is required for your convenience.
  • All hydrants are heat-traced and insulated to ensure easy access to water during the colder months.

Premium RV Location: Sites 1-10,15-26

Premium lots offer enhanced privacy, shaded areas with trees, and beautiful prairie views. These sites provide a more secluded and peaceful camping experience, perfect for guests seeking a quieter, nature-filled stay.

RV Standard Location Pricing: Sites 27-53

Standard lots are situated within a well-established area, surrounded by other RV sites. These lots provide a more communal camping experience with easy access to shared amenities. While they offer a more open layout, they still provide a comfortable and convenient place to stay with full hookups and essential services.

Tenting 

Tenting is available in our designated grassy group area on sites 11-14. These sites offer a more rustic camping experience, perfect for those who enjoy the simplicity of tent camping.

Booking Details:

  • Weekdays (Monday-Thursday): Minimum 1-day rental
  • Weekends: Minimum 2-day rental
  • Long Weekends: Minimum 3-day rental
  • Deposits: Full deposit required at time of booking, subject to cancellation policy

Policies and Guidelines:

  • Tents: Only permitted in the designated group area unless otherwise approved by management.
  • Tent Stakes: Guests must use tent stakes to properly secure tents.
  • Respect Quiet Time: Be mindful of neighboring campers and follow quiet time rules.
  • Open Flames: Not allowed inside tents.
  • Cooking: Only allowed on approved camping stoves and grills.
  • Fires: Allowed only in designated fire pits. Ensure fires are fully extinguished before leaving or going to sleep.
  • Supervision: No pets or children should be left unsupervised inside tents.

Tent Standard Pricing:

  • Rates are subject to change. Current pricing is reflected upon booking with Campspot and upon request.

Shared Bathroom/Shower House and Laundromat:

  • RV, tenting, and cabin guests will receive a site-specific Bathroom/ShowerHouse and Laundromat scan card upon check in from the Campground Manager.
  • There are two Bathroom/Shower houses, one designated for men and one designated for women based on biological sex.  Please use the appropriate facility. Failure to do so may result in removal from the campground. 
  • We do not have a family restroom. If you need to assist your children, please accompany them into your designated restroom and communicate with caution.
  • The Bathroom/Shower house and Laundromat entries are monitored with 24-hour surveillance cameras. The Laundromat also has an interior surveillance camera.

Womens and Mens Bathroom/Shower Houses:

  • Heated floors
  • 3 toilets and 3 coin-operated showers (loonies required)
  • Please bring your own towels, shampoo/conditioner, and toiletries.
  • Hair dryers are not provided.
  • Outdoor footwear is not permitted in the showers.
  • Bathroom/Shower Houses are accessible 24 hours.
  • Showers should not be used during Quiet Hours (11:00 PM - 8:00 AM) unless absolutely necessary.

Shared Laundromat:

  • 3 coin operated washers and dryers ($4.00/cycle)
  • Bring your own laundry detergent and dryer sheets.  These are also available for purchase at the front desk.
  • No clotheslines or drying apparatus allowed in the laundromat or on-site.
  • Prairie Junction is not responsible for lost, damaged, or missing goods.
  • Please help keep the space clean and comfortable for everyone to enjoy.
  • If you notice any cleanliness issues or problems like flooding in the bathroom, shower, or laundromat, please let management know, and we’ll take care of it promptly.
  • Should guests lose their scan cards they will be asked to pay a $10 scan card replacement fee.

Cabins

Prairie Junction offers four uniquely designed cabins for a memorable and comfortable stay.

Booking Details:

  • Weekdays (Monday-Thursday): Minimum 1-day rental
  • Weekends: Minimum 2-day rental
  • Long Weekends: Minimum 3-day rental
  • Deposits: Full deposit required at time of booking, subject to cancellation policy

Policies and Guidelines:

  • Pets: Not permitted in the cabins
  • Footwear: Wet or muddy shoes must be left at the cabin entrance
  • Smoking: Not allowed in the cabins (including e-cigarettes)
  • Guests: Unregistered guests inside the cabin will result in immediate eviction.
  • Parking: Guests should park in designated stalls behind each reserved cabin
  • Privacy: Cabins feature an outdoor privacy screen and their own fire pit
  • Firewood: Must be purchased directly from Prairie Junction

Additional Amenities:

  • Cabin guests receive a numbered scan card for access to their private bathroom/shower shared by all four cabins.

Cabin #1: The SeaFarer

  • Drift into relaxation at this breezy, nautical retreat, where the salty air and seaside charm create the perfect coastal escape.
  • Sleeps 4 occupants:  1 Queen size bed and 2 twin beds.

Cabin #2: The Lumberjack

  • Woodland theme meets rugged adventure in this lumberjack themed retreat. This cabin features warm wood panelling, plaid accents, and vintage logging decorum creating a cozy backwoods feel.
  • Sleeps 2 occupants: 1 Queen size bed

Cabin #3: The Bohemian Escape

  • Step into a world of artistic charm and free-spirited comfort in this bohemian inspired retreat. Designed for dreamers and wanderers the cabin features earthy textures, vibrant patterns,and eclectic decor, creating a soothing yet whimsical atmosphere.
  • Sleeps 2 occupants: 1 Queen size bed 

Cabin #4: The Ranchhouse

  • Saddle up for a stay in this country western-inspired retreat. Designed with wild west character and outlaw soul, this retreat features weathered wooden walls, leather/rope accents, and classic cowboy decor.
  • Sleeps 4 occupants: 1 Queen size bed and 2 twin beds.

  • Air Conditioning

Group Camping and Event Center

Prairie Junction offers a beautiful and spacious group camping area, perfect for gatherings and group camping experiences. The area includes four large sites: 11, 12, 13, and 14, accommodating up to 10 units.

Booking Details:

  • Minimum Booking: 2 sites required for group booking unless accommodated by management
  • Weekdays (Monday-Thursday): Minimum 1-day rental
  • Weekends: Minimum 2-day rental
  • Long Weekends: Minimum 3-day rental
  • Deposits: Full deposit required at time of booking, subject to cancellation policy
  • No long-term camping available in the group area

Site Features:

  • Sites 11 and 12:
    • Fully serviced sites
    • Includes dump station, 15/30/50 amp pedestal, and water hydrant
  • Sites 13 and 14:
    • 15/30/50 amp pedestal
    • No water or drainage sewer
    • Additional water available on the side of the event centre
    • Drainage sewer located in front of the group area

Shared Amenities:

  • Fire Pit:
    • One large shared fire pit for all guests in the group area (no individual fire pits)
  • Picnic Tables:
    • 6-7 available in the group area
  • Power Adapters:
    • 15/30/50 amp pedestals on each site
    • Adapters available for rent at the front office
  • Parking:
    • Vehicles can be parked on the grass or along the back fence near the event centre on the gravel

Event Center Rental:

The Event Center can be rented along with the group camping area. This 960 sq. ft. space includes:

  • Garage-style doors
  • 15 amp power supply
  • Charbroiler grill
  • 3-door fridge and freezer
  • Cabinet space
  • Fully functional kitchen with stove and microwave

It’s perfect for hosting events, gatherings, or group meals. For larger events or special requests, please contact us directly.

Group Camping Area Pricing:

  • Rates may change without notice. Current pricing is confirmed at time of booking through the RV Park Manager.
     
    • Pricing includes RV and/or tent camping.
    • Minimum spend required for group area bookings.
    • Individual sites may be available.

Full Group Area + Event Center Pricing:

  • Group camping and the event centre can be rented on a daily basis with discounted rates for each additional day. 
  • Rates may change without notice. Current pricing is confirmed at time of booking through the RV Park Manager.
     
    • Pricing includes RV and/or tent camping.
    • Minimum spend required for group area bookings.
    • Individual sites may be available- with minimum 2 site bookings at a time.
    • Contact the RV Park Manager for full details.

Event Bookings

  • Prairie Junctions Event Centre makes for a great environment for reunions, weddings, celebration of life, sports teams, corporate events,and large gatherings. 
  • To book the event centre with or without the group campground for larger events, please contact us directly at pjrv@pjrvresort.com or call X to speak to the RV Park Manager to inquire about dates, pricing, and additional items we offer to make your event special. 

Pet Policy

Prairie Junction is a pet-friendly campground with guidelines to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.

  • Pet Limit: A maximum of 2 pets per site.
  • Fees:
    • $3.00 per day per pet
    • Cats stay free of charge

Pet Guidelines

  • Pets must be well-behaved, under control, and not disturb other guests.
  • Dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times and cannot be tied to trees, fences, or campground property.
  • Doggy fencing is allowed only on gravel areas with prior approval from the camp manager.
  • Pets must not be left unattended outside, including being tied up at a campsite.
  • If your pet is in your RV, ensure they are inside with air conditioning when you are away.
  • Dogs cannot be left alone in tents.
  • Excessive barking (especially during quiet hours, 11:00PM - 8:00AM) is not permitted.
  • Aggressive behavior (lunging, growling, biting) or excessive barking will result in a warning and, if it continues, eviction from the campground without refund as per the cancellation policy.
  • Cats must be leashed when outside and cannot roam freely.
  • No portable dog pens or animal stables are allowed on site.
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Failure to do so may result in a $100 cleaning fee.
  • The Group Area is not a dog park. Please be considerate of other campers.

Additional Services:

  • Doggy daycare is available for daytime pet care. Contact the camp manager for more details.
  • All pet owners are responsible for their pets' behavior and any damage caused

Parking and Vehicles in the Campground

To ensure fairness, reduce congestion, and maintain a safe environment for all guests, please follow these parking guidelines:

  • Parking Pass: a parking pass will be issued at registration. Please keep it visible in your window at all times while parked in the campground.
     
  • RV Guests: 
    • Two designated parking stalls are provided. 
    • Visitors can use available 2 stall or visitor parking
       
  • Tent Guests: 
    • Park in the group area or along the gravel area near the event centre.
    • Visitors to use visitor parking
       
  • Cabin Guests: 
    • Park in the designated stall behind your assigned cabin.
    • Visitors to use visitor parking
       
  • Group Area and Day Renters: 
    • Park in the group area or along the gravel area near the event centre.
       
  • Visitors: 
    • Must park in the visitor parking lot at the entrance of the park. 
    • The lot accommodates 8-10 cars on each side. 
    • If full, additional parking is available in front of the office building.
    • Visitors must leave the campground by 11:00PM. Overnight stays are not allowed unless requested and subject to additional charge.
  • Roadways: Keep roadways clear and accessible at all times, especially for emergency vehicles. Avoid congestion by parking in designated visitor stalls near the front building.

Speed Limit: The speed limit is 10 km/hr in the campground. Drive carefully—children may be playing, and there may be campers moving around. Excessive speeding or dangerous driving will result in immediate eviction.
