RULES AND REGULATIONS_
Puntledge RV Park & Campground Rules and Regulations are established for the benefit of all campers. Puntledge RV Park & Campground is owned and operated by K'omoks First Nation. We hope you enjoy your stay!
All guests upon occupancy of a site, agree to abide by the rules and regulations.
SPEED LIMIT IS 5 KM/H THOUGH OUT THE ENTIRE PARK
1.All guests must register at the office before proceeding to your site. Check in time commences at 3:00 pm on and check out time is 11:00 am
2.Puntledge RV Park & Campground is not responsible for any loss or injury incurred on the property. Please always supervise your children.
3.Puntledge RV Park & Campground is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Please lock all vehicles and campers.
4.All Visitors MUST sign in at the Office.
5.One Camping Unit is permitted per site. (One extra tent for children under the age of 18 will be permitted).
6.Two registered vehicles are permitted per site, additional vehicles subject to an additional fee of $10.00 per night. Visiting guests to your site must use the Overflow parking lot by the store.
7.Open fires are only permitted in the Fire Rings provided unless a Fire Ban is in effect. Fires MUST be supervised until fully extinguished. Firewood must be purchased from the store. ALL propane fire pits must have a heat-resistant mat underneath.
8.Drinking of alcoholic beverages is allowed only within your campsite only.
9.High volume music and other unnecessary noise is not allowed at any time. Campers must observe quiet time between 10:00 pm - 8:00 am.
10.Generators are permitted between the hours of 9:00 am -11:00 am & 5:00 pm -7:00 pm.
11.Pets are welcome in the campground and subject to a $5.00 per day fee. All pets must be always leashed and under the control of the owner which includes cleaning up after, and proper disposal of all pet waste in bags and into the dumpster, failure to do so will result in an additional charge of $25.00. Excessive barking and/or aggressive behaviour will result in the camper being asked to remove the pet from the property. Pets are not allowed in the playground area or inside of the public buildings, including the washrooms, laundry room and office/store. Please do not tie pets up around these areas.
12.Garbage must be deposited in the garbage bins provided in the campground.
KEEP FOOD STORED IN TIGHT COOLERS, IN A VEHICLE OR INSIDE YOUR RV as there is always wildlife in the area. Clean your site before leaving.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY:
1.Campers shall be solely responsible for all injuries, damage, personal loss, or loss to their guests by reason of accident, fire, theft, or negligence by the camper.
Campers hold the campground and management harmless of and from any claim or injury or damage to any person arising out of a camper’s intention, reckless or negligent act, omission, or error.
2.Campers shall act in a civil manner in relation to other campers, visitors, and neighbours of Campground. Campers and guests shall not take any action to disturb the peace or in any other manner disrupt anyone’s use and enjoyment of the campground. Campers shall not use abusive or aggressive language in addressing anyone in the campground. It is at the sole discretion of management if a camper has committed any act or omission which the management believes to have disturbed the peace and/or otherwise infringed upon any other guests, the camper shall be asked to leave the campground and shall not be entitled to any refund.
RIGHT OF REFUSAL:
PUNTLEDGE RV PARK & CAMPGROUND RESERVE THE RIGHT TO EVICT ANY CAMPER WITHOUT REFUND FOR ANY VIOLATION OF THE ABOVE RULES AND REGULATIONS.
BE RESPECTFUL: We ask that all guests show respect for the land and other visitors, please follow these guidelines to play your part:
-Respect the cultural values of the land. Remember that you are on the traditional land of Indigenous Peoples. Leave any cultural items where you find them and take extra care around pit houses and other heritage sites.
-Share the hiking trails. Trails are for everyone but not for every activity. Only ride your bike or exercise your dog in the designated areas. Keep an eye on signs and always stick to the path.
-Keeping your campsite tidy, free of garbage and debris.
-Drink Responsibly. Liquor may only be consumed in your registered campsite by legal age adults. Drinking alcohol is prohibited in any other areas of the campsite.
