For cancellations, modifications, or rescheduling please call (800) 416-6992. Camping Reservation fees are non-refundable, camping fees may be refunded if the reservation is cancelled at least 3 days prior to your date of arrival. Camping Reservations canceled less than 3 days before your date of arrival, will be charged for the reservation fee and first night of camping fees, all other nights will be refunded. To reschedule or to modify your reservation it must be made at least 3 days prior to your arrival date, less than 3 days will be charged the first night of camping fee.

Day Use Reservation fees are nonrefundable, day use fee may be refunded if the reservation is canceled at least 3 days prior to your reservation date. Day Use Reservations that are canceled or rescheduled less than 3 days before you reservation date will be charged for the reservation fee and the day.

Picnic Pavilions number 1 - 6, Picnic Area 2B and 2C reservation hours are from 7:00am - 6:00pm on the day of arrival during the months of April to October, during the months of November to March the reservation hours are from 7:00am - 3:30pm on the day of arrival.

Group Camping Sites, Picnic Pavilions, and Picnic Area fees do not include the entrance for vehicles, all vehicles entering will be charged the normal vehicle fees.

We try our best to provide you with the site you selected, however it is not guaranteed. If for any reason we must move you to another site, we will give you a call, otherwise you'll be staying on the site you selected.

Quiet Hours are from 10:00PM - 8:00AM. Check-in time is 2:00 pm, Check-out time is 11:00 am. THERE IS NO EARLY CHECK IN. There is no entrance to the park after 10:00 pm, even with a reservation.

 NO outside firewood will be allowed in the park. We follow the “Buy it Where You Burn it” Program to control outside pests from entering the park. You may buy firewood inside the park

Rocky Mountain Recreation Co., concessionaire for the Rancho Seco Recreation Area, is not responsible for any injuries, damage and/or loss to person or property incurred by campers or their guest(s). All person(s) are required to sign a registration form by which the holder and guest(s) recognize and acknowledge the conditions in camping in a natural setting and may contain hazards such as fallen trees or limbs, along with uneven ground which is indigenous to natural environments. By camping at the Rancho Seco Recreation Area, the holder and guests agree to assume all risks and liabilities inherent in this activity, including but not limited to those flowing from natural and man-made hazards. The rules, regulations and disclaimers are made for your protection and the enjoyment of all campers. Any violations of these may result in additional fees and/or eviction without refund.

By keeping this reservation you agree to these terms and conditions, and agree to follow all park rules.
